The Belgians really must've been infuriated. To think a colonialist country with one of the best teams (on paper) would loose to a people they mostly consider as immigrants who have their players spread across Europe (and often times in the lower tiers of their leagues), and watch them celebrate on their refuge nation's soil was like an insult to their injury. .. but they fail to realise that it's the beauty of football. |

Politics › Re: Cbn Should Introduce N2000, N5000 And N10000 Naira Notes by Day169: 3:11am On Oct 31, 2022 |
Why not re-denominate the Naira by a hundredth, like Gov Soludo proposed, when he was the CBN Governor? .. it wouldn't neccessarily strengthen the Naira but it saves the hassles of a false sense of belief of carrying huge amounts of money. Imagine a minimum wage worker being paid 3 '10 thousand' notes as salary. It feels dehumanizing. Rather I'd suggest making the 100 naira note the highest denomination. |

nedekid: Apart from the earnings abroad, the quality of life nko? Omo, if you have not traveled for a while, pls try to do so and you will see we are living like paupers and animals, savages in this country. If you can survive in Nigeria, I bet you, you will survive in any part of the world, because you are already living in hell on earth! Only in Nigeria will you pay more to drive an old car than a person in the UK will pay to drive a recent model car! Go and check out the cars people drive, benz, BMW etc I have never seen in my life and never knew exist! Electric moto nko. 2022 models weh small children de drive. You pay a deposit eg 2k and then pay 150, 200 etc monthly for those latest model vehicles 2022 model! Food nko? They way they eat chicken, I wonder why chicken has not finished in the world. Abi do they have machine that manufactures chicken? Goodlife ohh, imagine then being a doctor that earns from eg 80k pounds upwards?. Any doctor that remains in Nigeria, his village people are after him. Well said sir, but about your last sentence, if all doctors leave, who will attend to the rest if us "plus including" the village people? .. abi na back to native doctors and faith healers. My brother, biko, our life expectancy is about 53years now, but if they all leave, na 35 years e go come be! |
