Yawns. ..sic! |
Fayose (in Olisa Metuh's voice) ..all movement, no motion! |
But this guy, should know by now, that there's a wind of change called "transparency & accountability" sweeping across the African landscape. Ghana set a beautiful example just yesterday. (Dwarfing the Nigerian experience of 2015). The Gambia is a nation that has enjoyed donor aid from larger democracies and the expectations are that it complies with certain terms. It is true to a large extent that were Jammeh to have lead a country like Nigeria or were he to be as powerful as Putin, the World would only have watched or at best imposed economic sanctions. To lead a country as miniscule as the Gambia and try to remain in power after losing elections were to court trouble and disgrace . If that ragtag soldier ain't careful, Yahya Jammeh may become "Yahaya Jam Hell"! |
..The guilty are truly afraid. |
Man's inhumanity to Man! |
Misplaced priorities! Misapplied opportunity!! Misfiring Movement!!! |
Parting gift. Bravo Governor! |
This is Fayose's time and tenure. He can say whatever he wants. He enjoys immunity! But he should recall, his term ends in 2018. A time for reckoning. P.S. ..who knows? his approval rating may even soar by then (Like Obama's) ![]() |
..see the transformation. ..or is it change? ![]() |
EastGold:..his retirement savings nau! ![]() With the continued devaluation of the Naira and loss of confidence in our banks, he's gone back to the traditional way of keeping his money under his 'pillow' and 'cooking pot'! Also (in his mind) he's above the law! (..me, a whole judge) ..SMH!!! |
Wow! ..a 16 year old 'adult man'! |
Party in Disarray & Pieces! (PDP). ![]() |
..the emergence and proliferation of armed groups portends grave danger for the unity of this country. Things are just not what they used to be. |
Kashamu just added another "follower for life" to his growing team of faithfuls . |
@ sarrki, The President (and his vice) may be upright but you see, the fight against corruption must be a collective responsibility such as in team sports. Clearly he seems to be the only man standing here, if one bad apple spoils the bunch, how much more a good one among a rotten bunch? ![]() |
..where all the people mentioned above have had dealings with the government (either directly or indirectly), it might suffice to say that they thus made their huge booty via such activities. Thus Politics (in Nigeria) can be equated with organised crime! .. "authority stealing" by VIP'S (Vermins in Power). |
SamuelAnyawu:..and Mrs GEJ too! |
That's something outta nothing. ![]() |
Hehe.. Children of today are the "unborn" leaders of tomorrow! ![]() |
While he basks in "ostentatious opulence"! This is where senior secondary school kids should learn the use of the term "Oxymoron"! |
This is what I call "resident evil"! |
(First of all, I need to take some Paracetamol in anticipation of the headache I might develop while doing the math) I wonder if these past leaders deserve any penny at all for the monumental wreck they have brought on this nation after their years of misrule. But then someone will get up and say these payments are backed up by the constitution. ..a fraudulent one then. From the figures above, these past leaders take home as much as their foreign counterparts while the national GDP pales in comparison to theirs, not minding the fraudulent practices they may have engaged in to enrich themselves while in office. Now this is where the madness really hits me. ..While these figures translate to about N100 million per ex-leader per annum, some of our governors have amassed pension packages that double, and in some cases triple that of these presidents! Here's what Fela described as "overtake don overtake overtake"! (Now I need something stronger for my headache). ![]() |
The "Moon" is finally being eclipsed! Congratulations to him. He's paid his dues. |
I think that if the Senate President takes a good look at the "MAN IN THE MIRROR", he'll see a clear picture on where the fight against corruption should begin, and hence the slogan "CHANGE BEGINS WITH ME"! |
I think it's the "Fayoses" in the FGN who are responsible. Every Naira misappropriation from the nation's coffers is tantamount to denying a Nigerian somewhere, the benefit of utilising that money for the correct purpose. |
I wonder if there are any tips to identify a boko haram member in southern Nigeria. This may help to forestall a breakdown of law and order as jungle justice seems to be the order of the day now. |
hmuhammad:..you should at least give him credit for his sportsmanship. How many Nigerian politicians today have the maturity to be fair in their words and dealings despite the seemingly "uneven" playing ground at the last elections in Ondo? I can only pray that this country produces more statesmen like this on our political terrain in the near future. |
Please try and endure this, it shall be well with us all, in time, as a nation. ..but wait o! if we take a closer look at these "legislathieves" a chunk of them, were political office holders who were alleged to have engaged in monumental fraud. So what do you expect? ..even Robin Hood was said to have stolen from the rich to aid the poor. These ones have been stealing from our (poor nation's) commonwealth since eternity. ..my people, e go better. ![]() |
Nice one, but it would be more inspiring for me, as a Nigerian, if our players in the EPL get together to do something for the multitude of kids back home who would give an arm & leg to watch their heroes play. |
Abysmal! |
