Kandiikane is beautiful.
See how fast brother King had jumped on his feet when he first spotted her.
I was about to jump as fast as brother King but I was stopped by the ring on my finger.

Kandiikane is a beautiful woman with a high self-esteem.
Her self-esteem is manifested through her posts on this thread.
She doesn't settle for less. Accordingly, she set her tone when it comes to dating. She wants her men to pay for her meals.
In some instance, for a woman to fit the bill on a date may be a sign of desperation.
Kandiikane knows what she wants. We can only encourage her to stick to her standards.

You are beautiful sister Kandiikane. Keep soaring high like an eagle.
Do not let anyone put you down.

I also dont agree that PDP rigged in the SE, It was simply the wish of the ppl.
ACN will be a formidable opposition in both houses but my only fear is that they might be limited to SW interests and shy away tactfully from other (regional) issues which might not necessarily affect them or the SW despite some few ACN lawmakers elsewhere in the federation. This is one of the reasons why I mourn APGA.

With ACN, ANPP and CPC clearly going into both houses to influence issues concerning their regions while also maintaining a visible presence in PDP as a national party, where is our APGA, to collectively represent our interests there? We've tried being in the PDP and it clearly hasn't favoured us. What now for the SE? Its hurting. Someone tell me I'm having just a nightmare which would disappear as soon as I wake!
I agree with you completely.

Assuming APGA had a good showing in the SE, Then they can talk about negotiation on a Southern interest with the ACN, As it stands now ACN would first and foremost care about the Yoruba interest before the Southern interest

And APGA have put themselves in a weak position to negotiate. ACN has over 20 senators, APGA has maybe 2. How do you pull your weight in the so called Southern Alliance, Even labour party and DPP(Ogboru) would argue that they deserve a voice over APGA.

Think SE needs to start strategizing for 2015 right now. Cos PDP is an all comers affair, No one to care about your specific interest

E.g If there is need to push a bill for dredging Onitsha river, Why should the PDP man from Kano, Kwara, taraba or Akwa-Ibom support that motion?

Politics › Re: Anambra central senatorial Election: Dora Akunyili (APGA) vs Chris Ngige of ACN by dayokanu(m): 10:51pm On Apr 11, 2011
dondavids:
Ngige is a good man, but he made a big mistake when he decided to join a yoruba party, knowing fully well that the cunning and deceitful attitude of
the yorubas especially Awolowo is the main reason why Igbo's lost the civil war in 1970 and why the Igbos are still suffering today in a country that they helped to gain independence from Britain. I don't want to see Tinubu boast about conquering Igboland. Ngige should leave ACN now, if he wants to win future elections in Anambra State.
How many senatorial seats did Apga or PPA win in the south west. This will show you that the average yoruba man hates every Igbo man. The truth is this, despite my strong support for GEJ, I will honestly state that I will prefer to do business any day with an Hausa man than a Yoruba man, cos yorubas are the most dishonest people on the face of planet earth.

Tinubu is going about decieving people that If they vote ACN, their state will be developed as Lagos was developed by Fashola, but was it not the same Tinubu that almost chased Fashola out ACN not too long ago. The truth is that I don't trust ACN as a party, a good man like Ngige should not have joined a party of Rascals like ACN. I just pity all these people that voted ACN simply because of Fashola's personal achievements in Lagos state, in 4 years time, they really begin to understand why GEJ called ACN leaders (minus Fashola) Rascals.

Fashola is a good man, a progressive and an achiever and people will follow him where ever he goes, and I assure you that If he comes out for president in 2019 under a new party, people will still vote for him. ACN is not Fashola, cos Fashola is much better than every other ACN politican put together. Ngige should leave ACN before he further degraces Igboland.

it is the condition of things in nigeria that made it so. there are no jobs and hard for many gals to fend for themselves.
in most western countries, 17, 18 years old do have job readily. you can be in high sch and work at wendy, mcd, bk, walmart, target etc and make enough to take care of yourself without asking your bf. you can work in school too. if you are in college, there are jobs readily for you unless you just don't want to work.
You can also work under me, You can fellate me from 9-5, How about that?

in nigeria, it is hard to find a job so some girls depend on their hustler bf.
So where does the bf get money from if the girl has the excuse of "No jobs"

OP, if you can help her do so but she is not your responsibility until you are both married.

I don't think Yoruba are liberated until the day they had Oduduwa republic with Odua leaders from top to bottom. But they have taken a huge step of being well positioned on how best to play Nigeria crooked politics and system andget the best out of it.

I don't really think our people voted for PDP as it looks, as any result that did not come before dawn on that saturday will never be the same in the morning, that is why almost 80% yoruba results were all out even before dawn even though a candidate like Ganiyu Solomon who polled half a million votes could get his result ready before midnight but  other places where total vote cast was far below that takes them almost 48 hours.

Since INEC said all result should be announce on the spot, why can't all the result be out in 3 hours after counting nationwide? Because you knew what will hit you in the morning s the result and in some cases it took more than 48 hours.

I warned last week that Peter Obi, APGA and Ohaneze has sold themselves to PDP/Jonathan. How do you campaign for two parties at the election without creating confusion and giving your enemy you are now sleeping with legtimacy to rig you out, when you are telling the voters that your opponent's key arrow head is also your own candidate? You are better off not having a candidate and focus your energy 100% on yourself alone.

Ngige is a very skillful politican and that is why my admiration for him as a person that knows how to play Nigerian politics , I was afraid for him joining the SENATE race because if he loses, his political future is in trouble. Peter Obi is just a nonentity who doesn't know hi sleft from his right, who climbed on Ojukwus back to public life lottery.

Wait till this weekend, when Ohakim may even win a landslide unless Rochas who is as good as Ngige can stop the rigging but I doubt if he can achieve it alone against the state machinery. In a few weeks time they will come to realise that Ebele Jonathan is not actually Ebelechukwu as they were meant to believe in their fickle minds but its actually Ebelemi (Ijaw name) which he had been hiding from them for some convinient political expediency.
I have been waiting for your insightful post and i wasnt disaapointed. Kudos Bros.

I kinda disagree a little about the rigging part. if there was rigging there would have been an uproar similar to the Ngige/Dora impasse.
Really? What is the Ideology of PDP?

I know Fashola, Tinubu and ACN have gone on record to argue for State police, more State control of revenue, a weak center and even resource control -If we see them as the same ACN of the AC period- ACN Assembly members are always at the forefront of several reformist pushes in the HOA: FOI bill, diaspora voting e.t.c -I'm glad Uncle Sola Adeyeye of ACN is back in the House of Assembly as a Senator!- I wish we have more of them.

whereas OBJ has gone on record to oppose a lot of these things on behalf of PDP and the Nigerian Military-Political Establishment, FOI bill comes to mind. That was also the difference between OBJ and Bola Ige +the founders of AC and by extention ACN.

CPC has promised similar structural changes in addition to their stance on corruption, GEJ has not.

I'm not sure if it's because GEJ does not believe these things are necessary or he's just trying to be strategic. Personally, I'm guessing he knew he won't win if he'd promise those things especially when he was running against Northern pro-establishment candidates in PDP. That is another reason why I doubt GEJ will have the balls to control the pro-establishment hawks and governors he's scared of opposing in PDP right now.

On economic ideology; as confusing as the Nigerian "political-economic" landscape is, ACN has shown they can work well in a privatised environment in Lagos, but we can't speak too much about that since the power to privatise and liberalize most of our state companies and utilities lies with the Federal Government for now.

But in the states controlled by the ACN (Lagos and Edo), we have seen a greater push for taxation and citizen involvement in government funding and that will only empower people to demand for more accountability. You saw that kind of citizen demand and empowerment during the Lagos Lekki Concession saga! people power forced Fashola to back down a bit!

Taxes make the people powerful and ACN is encouraging it.

What do we see in PDP states? What is GEJ's position and ideology?

Weak center? strong center?

resource control? state police? free press?

Greater protection from state security? Taxation? welfarism? capitalism? socialism? True Federalism?

I'm not hearing anything from my brotha in Aso Rock.
Great.

Beaf can you respond to this?

Ujujoan:
Funny enough, most women are that way from the start. But somewhere along the line, after a long line of opportunists, greedy/selfish people, and people who just take advantage of their good hearts, women learn to become a little bit tougher.
But you have a problem with the below

dayokanu:
I believe the reverse.

Just like you, I have seen many innocent guys that have been taken for a ride by women and actually became monsters themselves.

When we were in school we saw a lot. The loverboy guy who goes to the girls room, showers her with love but the moment the yahooyahoo, club boys come she dumps him like a piece of trash and hop into the guys car.

The Loverboy goes hurt and he plans his revenge on womenfolk.
Very difficult to rationalise

Do you know how many women have been violated and as a result of it have also ended up being lesbians? Look around NlD and see how many women open up threads complaining about their marriages and how bad their hubbys treat them. Go to the internet and count how many grown up kids are busy looking for their run away dads. Yes 18 yr olds have wisend up now because of this and are not ready to become a mans footmat. If in your opinion like you stated above there is a bad in every gender, How come you hardly address the bad in one gender yet you feel irritated when someone uses the same logic you applaud against you.

Now can you define HYPOCRITE?

If i am spending equal money sending both of them(Boy and girl) to school why should one now depend on one for ANYTHING.

I am traditional about these things, If a man marries me I would expect him to put in as much as I would put in but if we are just relationship I would not expect to pay because if you want to marry me you will have to be able to provide,
Off course if it occasions like valentines, birthdays etc I would happily get something for him but in the case where he ask to take me out why should I paid , abi na me ask to take him out?
A man should be ashamed if a woman offers you the money and you take it
As for the children if we do not look after them who will?
Whats wrong with you taking care of your own tab and he takes care of his own.

No man would want to take your money or ask you for money and I believe it should be shameful for a woman to do the same also. Its a shame for any human being to expect another human being to take care of them or pick their bills except they are disabled

For the children both of you contribute equally 50/50.

@2buff,

Its not only whites I know some other black women who take care of their tabs when going out. Its just a shameful thing when a girl expects a guy to pick her tabs when she ate the food and she is not disabled
