Yes the school is willing to support in any way they can and have successfully deferred my offer till September.

However, I don't think they have plans to mitigate the cost, neither do they have options for virtual classes for me. But I think they can provide relevant CAS documents and how speedily they'd be able to do so is what I am not certain of. They're willing to come in as regards the AR but they aren't really coming out to state the exact assistance they'd be rendering.

I know I would have to pay another IHS for a new Visa application but I have to get a refund of the previous one I paid, expecially if AR isnt successful, right?

That's purely a visit visa category

Know that the ECO will assess your brother's current status and hometies to ensure they will return home after your graduation if given this visa

Check the UK general visa thread and get more information on what they will need to provide on their end


On your, a letter of invitation from your Uni, your cover letter, BRP, passport and if you are accomodating and feeding them the rent agreement/ bank statement etc.

Is your husband the biological father?? If yes then provide birth certificate and cover letter as to why the surnames are different


If not you have to go through the legal route of sole custody with the child's father

Can I ask what steps you took to contact UKVI/TLS besides going their physically and asking for your passport

If you intend to sue you have to have enough trail as evidence to show you have chased this

2.can you appeal with your Uni to allow you resume online pending when this is resolved

3. Because a decision was made/ visa granted you won't be getting your IHS back, again this will depend on the evidence you have and how far you are willing to take this up legally

I am going through alot of mental stress right now, UKVI has really dealt with me so badly without committing any crime. I applied for a student visa, priority to be precise, bio was done on 20th of January, decision was made on 23rd January and I got BRP mail on 26th of January but could you believe that since then ukvi refused to send my passport back to TLS for collection, I have been battling with this for long, I keep going to IKEJA TLS but the truth is even the so called TLS are not ready to help and now my school told me not to bother coming again even if my passport is return back to me. Have you got the support from your Uni regarding this? Is there a way they will mitigate the cost/provide assistance perhaps allow you join online if AR is successful. Will they provide relevant CAS documents speedily if UKVI requests for it so you can meet up with September

Yes ,you are on the right path in addressing this,

Write a detailed cover letter to regarding this request and inparticular the difference in the amount, you could do a table of inflow and outflow

1. Reference the relevant documents reflecting fees rents and other bills paid in the UK so far, they have to balance the figures out

2. Ensure the documents you provide are verifiable

The funds for them is still in my account and is more than enough but we just got nsf asking for the amount in the screenshot below.

Can I add that if the MAs POF is enough don't include the DoM so the ECO doesn't mistake the DoM for your maintenance

If you are providing both, ensure your DOM meets the criteria of minimum 28days and ensure the cover letter explains it

If AR is successful, a new CAS will be requested, IHS will not be refunded, additional documents may be requested especially your maintenance funds to confirm you still have that

And yes you may be required to submit a new application to match details on the previous one.

AR on study visa can be quite complicated compared to visit visa

1. Not sure why the calculation will go wrong, have you confirmed the Oanda rate on the day you applied?
The difference will determine if your Dom will cover just you and your kids..This is what you can do, present your MAs statement as the main account where all the POFs are , provide your additional Dom statement and a cover letter to address what you have provided..Your cover will state for instance that you are dependants, MA is studying xyz, maintenance funds is in MAs main account with details however your Dom XYZ account is additional savings for you and the kids when necessary

2. Regarding consent letter,part 1 each applicant will sign theirs, you sign yours and whoever filled the application for the kids will sign their own. Because you are using MAs account he has to sign consent letter part 3.
Part 2 is irrelevant unless you are providing a joint bank statement/documents which doesn't apply in your case.

You could provide additional consent letter especially for finance to confirm the dependants have access to the POF in the MAs account

To be safe, just in case anything goes wrong with calculations, I have decided to also attach a bank statements of my own domicillary account. My question is, should I attach the dim account for myself only or for my kids too?

2) How do we sign the family consent forms? Who signs part 1, 2, and 3? After signing the family consent forms, do we also need to upload another financial consent form or the family consent forms covers that? Then is the family consent form for kids alone or for me as well?

You won't see UKVI interviewing people, and you can't have a border patrol officer work in a different country except in very very extreme circumstances usually intel based, targeting a wanted person and with clearance from the country in question

A cover note should address the mistake, in your cover note ,state the section of the visa application you refer to and the mistake made then include the correct countries/dates when you travelled

People who have treated TB before can still get their TB certificate.They may request sputum sample and more time but I don't think it's anything to worry about or an outcome you can control

You have to confirm from them the impact of a successful AR and if they will allow you to enroll with the next cohort if it is successful

You are only allowed 20hours during term time unless in holidays which is unlimited
Apart from the fact that this is a difficult plan you are about to embark on, you have submitted a bank statement showing the complete fees.

You don't want to be chased /reported to UKVI by your Uni for fees
