If you choose to submit the MAs POFs to confirm funds are not recycled,submit as far as the MAs application till date.

You can also submit evidence of what the MA has spent out of his POF for studies i.e rent,bills, etc

Include a cover letter to explain what you have submitted and why in details so there is no mix up

You have already cancelled your application

You won't be getting a refund of your visa fee as you have already attended your TLS- Biometric appointment

You should however get a refund of your IHS, it could take up to 28days

It's a new trend I discovered for the dependant and some are mistakes some are deliberate They are brewing something and I hope it's not what I think.

Start with the first page on the thread,write down each steps and cross them as you proceed.

If you do this you will get yourself and your dependants into serious trouble.Nominating yourself to collect their BRP is restricted to certain reasons only (screenshot attached)

They have to arrive the UK, get stamped in before any access to BRP.

Myself and my dependents did visas together and it came out December and I travelled alone. The expiry date on the visa is March 14, but it’s unlikely my dependents would be able to travel to the UK before then.
The thing now is that I’ve collected their BRPs from school. Is it possible to send their BRPs over to Nigeria and they travel with it after their visas have expired?
My worry is that, will it raise an issue that they didn’t come within their visa entry period and how they got BRP without entering in the first place?

If you are unable to get both academic and work reference then it's up to your Uni to confirm if they will accept your business references.

Did she pay for priority or standard? That can help you decide if you want to call/mail to escalate it.

If she hasn't heard anything by Monday she can chase and request that,she should ensure she updates her Uni on any further delays from the 1st Feb so they can try to push from their end

My emphasis is on the MA, dependants can arrive anytime

My wife who happens to be the main applicant and i her dependent did out bio on 5th Jan. We received an empty NSF 6th Jan. We made a paid call 23rd Jan and they said they are yet to make a decision. Is there need to be worried? We booked flight for 8th Feb already as school said we must be in the UK by 13th Feb at the most.

POE experiences are very different and a couple of people have posted their experience on the thread.


For documents,always have a copy of the documents you submitted for your application including your up to date bank statement handy so you can present it if and only if it is requested

I actually wished she had included more documents to substantiate her marriage ,that was my first comment.

My fear is the documents she submitted may truly not be enough to sway the review her way .

I agree she could do the review but if she decides to go ahead to reapply wouldn't it be better to do a court wedding and have that dusted?

Perhaps she could reapply and include additional documents @Mimilyrics provided

@Phummy2984 this is entirely your decision, if you do reapply check the list and cross out as many evidence as you can provide if you decide not to do a court wedding
