So I was banned 2 weeks ago. I had no idea what I did on here and this was a time I really needed some urgent questions answered.

Anyway water under the bridge.

When I got my first Empty NSF my heart broke! I knew this meant DELAY.

The second one too, I was just like nah God should do whatever he wants to do.

My visa was supposed to take 5 working days max and it took more than 2 weeks! Longest days of my life!

I want to appreciate everyone that takes their time to respond to everyone on this group, May the good lord bless you.

Guarantors are people that know you, if you default in rent payment they go after them, no stranger will want to put themselves in that position.


That's why the POF is there and set by the UKVI for 9months

Almost 3months of wait, why is that?

Ideally the ECO would have considered this before issuing his visa so it should be fine at POE

However,to be safe he should get in before he turns 18

Other given name is usually if you have middle names

The question that ask ' if you have been know by any other name you could put your maiden name(former surname),

Otherwise please stick to the name on your passport

During your visa application,you will need to take into consideration the exchange rate for that date which may or may not affect your current maintenance

Any statement you print should be used within 30days

I am unsure of what you mean by term tenor in this scenario but know that your POF is for your maintenance in the UK, any other arrangements is deceit and will attract a ban of 10years

ECOs are fully aware of the nonsense people do and you don't want to be used as a scape goat

There isn't one that is slower than the other, there's a lot to factor in behind the scenes

During your visa application you have to have an extra layer of patience.

My advice,go to one that is close enough to where you live.Abuja and Lagos are 2 different cities

I got a mail from UKVI to upload additional documents which is a bank statement. I uploaded the bank statement and later they requested for documents to show my engagement after completing studies. I have also uploaded my employment letter and payslips.
I want to know if I can stop my POF ( proof of Fund) guess they are ok with that pending visa decision .
I have uploaded the screenshot of the 2 mails I got from UKVI.

You can apply from Malaysia if there is an IOM and you get your TB test done

PS: Priority is on the MA to resume school and dependants can arrive at anytime,so you may not travel together

What is the distance between your Uni and your sisters accommodation to check the feasibility of staying with her when studying full time ( some ECO's can have a quick look)

2. This doesn't stop you from providing your evidence of maintenance however should this be an evidence then the rent agreement should have your name in it otherwise you are just a guest not a tenant

3. You can add this information as part in the section that talks about any other address you'll stay in the UK if you are not staying fully but that is optional

I hope I haven't confused you...for the sake your application your answer to No 1 will straighten no 2 and 3 out

Those evidence are self explanatory

There are different types of employment, some are on contract basis that's the sort of evidence you will provide if that is your case but if it is full or part time then your employment letter should suffice
