If you look back at the thread there has been issues like this raised before

To respond 1. You can't declare sole responsibility, it's the court that will declare that , and that will be a legally binding documents (either in separation or divorce)

2. You can provide compelling reasons why you are applying alone with the kids. Compelling reasons are things like physical disabilities or mental health not distance or jobs

3. Best bet , the kids may be refused and then they will reapply with your husband, he can apply from any location

Good morning.
I hope am posting this in the right section.
I need advice. I got an admission for masters in the UK, applied for visa for myself and my kids alone as my husband is working in China, and just plans to come visit us occasionally. We got a response from ukvi, that either both parents are/should apply at the same time or I should declare sole responsibility for the kids. My fear now is, if I declare sole responsibility, would it not affect a future something? Anybody with somewhat similar experience? Any advice on how to go about this please?

Do you mean travelling on the 12th October?

If your school is happy to enroll you when you arrive that's should be fine

You can also ask for online log in details for the courses that will start on the 3rd October so you don't miss out on alot and attendance is noted

Note: my course gave room for late resumption till 21st October.

2. It may be requested so have it ready just incase but for his application he should submit his own. Yes it can be naira

3. Pictures ,chats,emails ,bills , investments, holidays etc as it applies to you randomly selected over the span of your relationship and marriage

1.My husband will have a less than 6months validity during visa application. Will this be a problem?(he is unable to renew his passport at this time)
2. He’ll be using his account for POF. Since I’ll already be in the Uk during his application(for at least a month), do I need to add mine as well? (Because of recycled funds) ,and can it be a naira account? .
3. Is there any other document I should add apart from the usual(brp, marriage certificate) .

No it is not. I have seen many people who got their visas at the same time as their priority main applicants. Some a few days after.

Many priority dependants have gotten their decisions a couple of days or a few days after their biometrics and then go on to receive their visas a few days after the decision was made.

Do some people have to wait through the standard times despite being dependants of a priority applicant? Yes. Many are currently going through that. However, what I said isn't false either. Two truths can co-exist. It all depends on the case officer.

Sometimes, yes. Most priority applications take effect on the dependants' application.

The dependant is most likely decided if their applications were linked during biometrics, i.e. putting the two applications into the same yellow bag (for priority). They may not collect their passports at the same time but if the dependant's application is decided, they can expect to get a collection email soon.

They will request for your card details at the start of the call so have it handy

The debit will then happen after the call has ended

Pls do I need an affidavit, Emmanuel was spelt as Emman on SSCE certificate (I was told then that WAEC only has 25 character) though correct on degree. I have never had any issue with it even the Uni has given me CAS already.
But considering this as one of the schools I applied to demanded for a proof that the same person bears the two name.
I now see and start thinking if I should do an affidavit and upload same when applying for visa.

You have to try to book a date first and explore the flexi option that allows you walk-in with your husband on his day of biometrics

The WAEC certificate carry 2 names and initial while the passport carry all the names. The 3TD name temitope was written on her waec as T.
BIO Is next week Thursday.
