I have lots of questions on this but I will skip that

Not sure what system errors will convince the ECO that your entire maintenance funds was debited and for an entire weekend.

I am not sure a cover letter will suffice,will they also provide evidence that the glitch also affected other account holders and not only yours (like an IT log on the issues from the bank).

Can the evidence be verified? These are the questions

Too risky,it will be safer to restart your count unless you want to take the risk and leave faith in the hands of the ECO

Good morning all, Duchess, Mimilyrics, Justwise and the rest. Please I need urgent help and advice on what to do.

I received a debit alert on my POF yesterday evening debiting the bulk money I deposited. I immediately called my account officer and they swung into action apologizing that it was a system error and that it was going to be reversed. Later, he now tilt me that it will be concluded on Monday because the Manager to authorize it had gone home. I have been so worried and couldn't sleep even though he told me that they will add a footnote so that when I print, it will show that it was a system error.

Please can I still use it or I will need to start counting from Monday but my shook resumes on 2nd of October and the Pof is to mature on the 20th of this Month.

What do you suggest I do?

I am thinking of asking the bank to give me a cover letter to shoe that the error is from them, will this work?

Please I need urgent advice onbwhst to do.

Please, I need your advice.

We did biometrics on 11th August at TLS, Ikeja (Paid call made on 05/09/2022-Decision made). We are a family of 5. Collection mails have been received by MA, Spouse and 2 child dependant today, I will pick up the passports on Monday. The 3rd child dependant is still on DMC since Tuesday 06/09/2022, what do you suggest I do?

You could submit it as an additional document

Try as much as you can to focus on the documents stated in your CAS

You should be able to.

You should also provide a consent letter, perhaps copy of marriage certificate and then an official identity( it could be drivers license, voters card ,NIN etc)

Check in with your bank too to confirm what documents they are happy to receive.

1. Did you advise your BRP to be sent to your Uni?

2. Have you checked for BRP mail in your inbox and spam messages

3. You should be fine traveling without it if No 1 is yes.please print out a screenshot where you flagged this up with UKVI and TLS.

4. Send same to your Uni so they are aware and can release your BRP on arrival if No 1 is Yes

The visa officer will use your application date to confirm your maintenance funds are sufficient as per study visa rules.

If you are sure of the conversion rate on the date of your application in this instance 21st August then you are absolutely fine

Please I have an issue that has been bothering me for a while now.

My school fees balance + POF is 19,057 pounds, my visa application date was August 21st and the OANDA rate on the 21st was approximately 496.4. If I calculate the naira equivalent using the visa application date, my POF should be N9,460,905.

I have about N9,800,000 in my account right now but I'm worried because I had 10, 200,000 before CAS was issued but I had some challenges that needed to be sorted out and I had no other way to source for funds, now the school said I should also add extra money to my account to account for currency fluctuation.

My biometrics is on Monday and I would be glad if these few questions can be answered here.

Does anyone know if this attached mail is a generic one they send to everyone before issuing CAS at University of Sunderland?
Is the ECO going to use my visa application date to calculate my POF?
Will my N9,800,000 be enough?
Am I worrying over nothing?

Not at all, the country is officially in 10days mourning.

There will be some bank holiday here and there at some point but I don't reckon it will affect UKVI so much so

About your agent? Your don't need to use one and I don't know what he means by deferral letter, are you deferring your Teeside admission from Jan to Sept 2023?

Good day everyone @dduchess please I really need your candid advice,my wife have applied for enough school for January intake ,she had an unconditional offer from Greenwich university,conditional offer from teeside university,we were asked to pay deposit of 4000 before we can get unconditional offer,and she also got unconditional offer from dmu for September ans Bristol but due to Nigeria immigration wahala she lost the offer..so agent in Nigeria said we should wait for 4 to 8 weeks for January deferal letter..Am so confused right now please should we go ahead and pay or wait for more options? Cause the Teeside is a conditional offer..please I need your candid advice .@duchess and other gurus ..She still has like 10 or more other applications waiting for reply

Since we are yet to have a thread where people can share their POE stories, I thought to share mine here.

The MA is my hubby and we travelled with our kids. We arrived yesterday, at London Gatwick and Our Entry Clearance officer is a British Lady.

She asked hubby questions such as
1. Why are you here?
2. Name of school and course?
3. What were you doing before you came here?
4. Are you being sponsored financially by anyone ( this was a trick question obviously)
5. Have you been to the UK before?

She asked our 5 year old daughter to confirm her name while she was looking at her passport. She was unable to get our 8 year old son’s details from the fingerprint scanner so she entered his passport number in her computer to confirm his picture matches his face. ( This shows that they do not joke with records)

She also asked my children to confirm my husband and I are their parents.

She didn’t ask to see our bank statements or TB certificates but while we were waiting on the queue, I saw other Officers requesting those documents from other people.

My advise is that you come along with all the necessary documents as it’s best to be over prepared and not need the documents than be under prepared and then need the documents.
