Tippy Top:With resource control we still remain one country right? And those from the Southern section of the country will still be massacred at |
LadyT:Believe me, I used to say that we have much to gain from each by remaining one. HOWEVER, with the CONSTANT massacre that keeps recurring in the North, I have come to question that position. Who will have the mind to kill YOUTH CORPS members serving in their land? I served in Yobe State and believe me, people were crying in the kind of environment we were sent to. And to get killed in that condition by the illiterate hosts you are serving over nothing they have control of? Only one section of the country is capable of such action, the rest have evolved past that stage. |
Sweetnecta:What? I bet you there are less than 100 muslim Igbo's IN THE WHOLE WORLD! Frankly, I only heard of one and he died in the 1990's. Anyway, a muslim Igbo is far evolved to want to kill somebody. And in Igbo land, there is freedom of religion. We don't care what you worship. Have you heard of mosques being burnt in the South East or Igbo's trying to impose their religion on anyone? We don't give a rat ass. |
People quote how Yoruba's and South South hates Igbo's and wouldn't want to be part of a break away country. I want to raise too important issues. 1. No matter the differences between the various Southern groups, they have evolved past the level of taking cutlass against defenceless groups. Hence EVEN if divisions exist between the groups, it will NEVER reach the extent of what is obtainable in Nigeria. Tell me, what is the average number of lives lost in Northern Nigeria yearly for the past 10 years? 2. Who told u Igbo's really need the other groups to form a country? Igbo's have more than enough land to sustain itself (you may want to look at the size of Israel on a map). Any of the regions in the South can prosper independently: mostly educated, hardworking or endowed with natural resources. The North on the other hand have a culture of not striving for education, restricted by religion and negatively affected by their living conditions. Today's Nigeria is hell and heaven joined together. |
Only in one section of Nigeria will a group of people wake up and in the name of politics, religion, or tribe head off to slaughter another group. Give them Buharistan where they can fully practice their desert religion, easily oppress women, practice paedophila and blow themselves up. |
Desert religion. |
As an Igbo man, reading this story, of how a fellow Igboman was cut with a machete, how I'm I supposed to feel. Yes, this story is supposed to be about a muslim guy saving some Christians right? Yes, what he did was noble, but, but, this is one too many. |
Northerners have better opportunity than those from the south when it comes to education. They have scholarships to study and gain admission to Universities with lesser grade (so called educationally less developed states). The average Southerner struggles to school with contribution from family (people sell their lands to send their kids to school where I come from), graduates, gets sent to the North for his NYSC and gets killed by the Almajiri's. The compensation due to the family will be "a regret" by the Federal Govt for the loss of lives. What a useless country. Animals. |
First class ticket to be with Allah and 7 x 12 northern Aisha virgins. Allahu Akbar. . Keep blowing up, the virgins are getting younger as there is barely enough time for them to mature. |
Speak yee not evil, the fire is of the Lord ![]() |
Nigerian students from the south should protest and call for an end to the posting policy: NO SERVING IN THE NORTH. We do not need assurance that their lives would be protected because it never is. EVERY year, corps members of southern extraction are killed! Do you want to YOU, or your friend or family member to be part of the statistics of the blood thirsty illiterate Aboki's? Sadly, this fine young man below is. Read his story: I did not know Obinna directly but we had mutual friends here in London. Until recently Obinna was here in the UK, at his family expense, to pick up a post graduate qualification. Obi, as I will call him for the rest of this write up, like every young man had dreams and hopes and one of such was to go back and complete the mandatory NYSC. As a result he packed his bags, paid his way back to Nigeria to serve his fatherland in Bauchi where he was posted to do his National Youth Service. As you might have guessed by now Obi is one of the Youth Corpers, reported glibly by the media, killed in Bauchi in the last few days. I don’t know if it is because it has happened so many times or what, but the media in Nigeria have become very blasé about such killings and no longer view such as worthy of further coverage. Obi was a person, he had a life, he had a family that loved and sacrificed for him. Obi as you can see from his picture was a good looking young man full of life. According to friends, Obi had run to the corpers lodge to seek refuge and was worried enough to contemplate running to the barracks. But before he or any of the other corpers in the lodge could actualize this; death arrived in the form of a CPC murder squad. The terror Obi and the rest must have felt can only be best imagined. They were forced out and beaten up and not quite done, the baying crowd of CPC fanatics slaughtered them and set their bodies alight. It is not the kind of death you will wish on your enemy. Let no one try and palm this off on the usual suspects; the Almajiris. Yes there must have been street urchins amongst the killer squad but these were CPC and Buhari loyalists who were out to sort out “the opponents” of their leader. It did not matter to them that these young people were on a National service, as far as they were concerned, if they were not one of them, then they must be the enemy. There are parallels between the killing of Obi et al and what happened in Kenya at the tail end of 2007 when Kenyans went to the polls in a bitterly fought election. The incumbent Mwai Kibaki’s reelection was disputed by the main opposition leader Raila Odinga. In no time Kalenjin militias in the Rift Valley fanned out in a murderous search of Kibaki’s supporters and kinsmen. They burnt down their houses, looted and killed Kikuyus who were seen as Kibaki’s supporters. Kibaki’s Kikuyus soon retaliated and at the end of the sin assembly of violence, over 1,100 Kenyans had been killed. Just like we have seen in Nigeria before, the Kenyan government sacrificed justice at the altar of political expediency. The Kenyan Government made feeble attempts bring to trail the perpetuators without much success and the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague was forced to step in. Charges have now been filed against 6 politicians, ex head of Police, a radio DJ and Government ministers for inciting the violence The killing of Obi in Bauchi won’t be the first time people have run amok in the North. Far more people have been killed in Plateau state alone than in Kenya. People are killed at the drop of a hat in the North and Middle Belt and the Government appears helpless. We must now call on the ICC to intervene and try and break this cycle of the mindless slaughter of the innocent people in the North. The facts are all there, just as in Kenya; people were incited and primed to wreak maximum havoc in the event of results not favoring them. Even after the elections we had the likes of Alhaji Buba Galadima of the CPC still going on BBC Hausa service to spew hate. I have previously written about the climate of hate that surrounded CPC rallies prior to the elections and frankly it is no surprise that violence broke out. What is surprising is that yet again, the security forces were caught flat footed. How could they not have known that CPC supporters were going to embark on an sin assembly of violence? It is doubtful if President Jonathan has the political spine to bring the murders to book. I suspect the killing of Obi and that of many others in this latest sin assembly of violence will be swept under the carpet by the Government for the sake of political expediency or “national unity”. We need to tell the government that there is no more room under the carpet. The blood of Obi (and others) is calling for justice. It would be most disappointing if appeasement rather that justice is pursued by the government, killers must be brought to book and not rewarded. If the Government feels this is beyond them, they should then allow for the ICC to step in.

What are SUG's of southern universities doing? What are the politicians from the South doing? Protest and call an end to serving in North! YOU or your relative of friend will someday become part of the statistics of corps members killed in the North. It has now become acceptable that a few Southerners are sacrificed in the North EVERY year! With the condition of things in Nigeria, over my dead body will I have a kid, train him through to university and send him to the north to serve these animals and have them kill him. If the people of the South fail to take action like calling for the end to NYSC or a policy where serving in the north is voluntary, then we should shut up and celebrate the death southern corps member because we helped kill him or her. RISE UP! |
Animals killing NYSC members who are there to serve their fatherland. |
Nigerian students from the south, STOP being F.O.0LS! Protest these deaths! Protest to serve in your states or in the South. What is the duty of your SUG government! If you do not do aything, one day, it may be your turn or that of your family member or friend to be included in the statistics of corps members killed in the North! Rise up! This is painful! It has now become acceptable that corps member will be sacrificed in every service year! It could be you or your family! This is sad. What are politicians from the south doing about this? Abolish NYSC or make ur indigenes serve in your states. Let the northerners massacre their own corps member! One Nigeria my foot. Animals. |
Some NYSC members have lost their lives in the NORTH. Blame it on extremists or whatever you like, but you guys need to develop the intellectual capacity to live in the 21st century. You deserve a country (Hausa Islamic Republic or Sharia Nation sounds good) where you can be blow things up, and not the lives of Southerners, most of who struggle to have education which you don't bother to have.
you see,you don't even get the point. No body is talking about who invented it but who created the above mentioned site. You didn't have to attack the guy just because he asked you to review his site, abi he dey force you to donate $1.
You are a F00L. Invest $1 and make close to $100,000 ? You are a stinking M0R0N for defending the IDI0T that posted that stuff here, I suspect it is u or that u work in tandem with him. Here is a simple advice, with the kind of profit involved, u don't need to get anyone involved. Invest all ur money, that of ur family and then of ur entire village. I wonder if u attended a primary school to offer a 100000% return on investment. Except of course u plan paying the person in Zimbabwean dollars for every American dollar he invests. You bring a new meaning to the word R.E.T.A.R.D. |
seanet02:Why didn't u post this one in Yoruba? Wouldn't it have been easier for me to understand? Fact is that communication in this forum is in English, if u want to converse in your local language, feel free to start another forum or a Yoruba thread. If u must post something here, whether insults or praises, make that in a language where all and sundry will understand, otherwise u are just showing what a F00L you are. |
Why do you guys do this to us. Next you will say whites are racists but you guys are the ones the gives them the right to do it. If it is a white that created this kinda site, you will be one of the ppl to run there first and register but because it's a fellow black you think he wants to defraud you. You didnt even visit the site first to see that he spent money for the domain and hosting and probably on the designing. Plssssss, think twice before you talk.it's only $1 which you even spent times 20 on a stinky backside bit*ch you call your girlfriend today
You just proved once more what a M.O.R.O.N you are. Who invented the Ponzi Scheme, a black man? I suggest you do some reading before posting nonesense here. Yes, $1 is nothing, but I wouldn't want someone to donate it to your evil cause, besides you are gonna convince your victim to invest a $1,000 or more, wouldn't that yield him more money? I don't need to visit the site, I can already tell the crap it is gonna contain. As I said, why don't u invest the little money urself and make all the profits? I am sure with ur smartness, u can easily raise $10,000 and invest in urself. Think of the profit that will give u. Why reveal to us this money-making engine? Are u a humanitarian or what? With the kind of wealth u are bound to generate, bill gate will be a poor man. |
fstranger3: seanet02:I assume you both cannot write in English. Time to start go and start ur local village forum. |
Not to blame the entire Yoruba tribe, but if after the role call all 10 persons involved in the crime had been Igbo's, this thread would certainly have been more interesting. |
Please do not say anyone insults the Nigerian Police. I looked up the definition of insult and it is defined as AN EXPRESSION THAT WHICH IS CONSIDERED DEGRADING AND OFFENSIVE. If I thus make the statement that the entire Nigerian Police Limited is corrupt, I do not see the insult there, since that is a factual statement. You could argue that a few aren't corrupt, but the action of such few is masked by that of the overwhelming majority. Where are the good ones when u are unjustly locked up and have to cough out 10,000 for ur bail? How many innocents people have lost their lives directly or indirectly due to the action of the Nigerian Police. If the protest in Egypt were to occur in Nigeria, I bet u the Nigerian Police would probably kill half the protesters if ordered by a Politician in Power. No amount of fanciful words, no matter how well articulated could be insulting to the present Nigerian Police Limited. |
I tip the Police and all Public officials. As for the waiter and private sector workers, they should be contented that I patronise them ![]() |
T9ksy:Pause for a second and examine your points. Fight and kill the Igbo's, not because they are violent against you, but simply because u cannot compete against them. That seems to be your logic. Let us even agree that the Igbo's do not love their neighbours and wants to lord over them as you said, why then did Nigeria refuse to let them go? Wouldn't it be nice that they have their own country where they lord over themselves alone? I gave u an instance of a Yoruba guy that was the president of my faculty with a negligible Yoruba population: I VOTED FOR HIM during the elections! It mattered more to me that he was from my department, outspoken and eloquent than the fact that his name was Kolade. Have u ever heard of Igbo's attacking any group in Igbo land because we think they are going to dominate/ lord over us? Reason? Igbo's believe they are smarter and can out-compete any group in Nigeria. Resorting to violence against a non-violent group is a clear sign of intellectual and moral deficiency. |
T9ksy:I must say that I was a little surprised to read ur latest comment. Based on ur previous post (esp. the one u remarked with seeming satisfaction at the killing of Igbo's in the North), I had expected it to lack any substance. I was surprised to learn that u could make references. You complain about the Igbo's and how they dominate where ever they are and want to take over. When the Igbo's wanted Biafra, Nigeria (Yoruba's and Hausa's) and fought them, leading to the death of more than a million lives. Now since we are forced to be part of the entity called Nigeria, what then makes it a crime to live and prosper and even aim for the highest office in whichever part of the country u find urself? The president of my faculty of over 5000 when I was in school in UNN was Yoruba. I doubt we had up to 30 Yoruba's in that Faculty then, I knew only about 5. Do Igbo's complain about having Yoruba's or Hausa's in Igbo land? If u can, please come, u are welcome to come and compete. Isn't it an irony that u do not want the Igbo's to have their own country and yet u are mad that he is successful in other parts of the country that you forced him to be part of? U are free to lie to urself that the Igbo is ordinary and yet whine at his successes. |
T9ksy: T9ksy: T9ksy: T9ksy:I understand u. People are naturally angry at people who they cannot compete against. I read how u made light of Igbo's being killed in the North and how happy u seem that such atrocity is happening. If u don't think Igbo's are special, with the average one much more smarter than 20 of u put together, why resort to violence against him as the only way to fight him? Why does the average Igbo man prosper more than his compatriots despite being disadvantaged, politically and otherwise? The answer? He is smarter than u. Feel free to hang ur lazy a.ss or blame God for making u such a MO.RON. The success of the Igboman comes from hardwork, ur lazy a.ss is not configured that way. |
Anybody who willingly goes to another human who goes by the title of "man of God" with his entire monthly salary and hands it over is a m.oron. |
CGKing:Lol, for ur information, I am Igbo. How many muslim Igbo's have u seen. Maybe I should spell it out for you in case u still haven't figured, I am not muslim. Infact, I am from a very religious Christian family. I am however smart enough to know what a fraud is, and that the "word of God" is being used to perpertuate fraud. I let my morals guide me, I don't cheat people, I don't steal.
