But EVEN if Mr Gideon Akaluka did use the Quran to clean himself, does it justify his killing? Will Christians kill a muslim if he committed the same offence? Unfortunately, mostly muslims from Northern Nigeria hold little regard for their fellow humans from any perceived injustice to their religion, real or unreal. One wonders the progress we could have made as a nation if their was no religion.

I don't understand the stuffs I am reading here. It is almost insulting to me. I have 3 best friends, 1 is male and 2 are female. 2. You may want to educate yourself more about Nazism. Nazism became a religion, it was not part of Christianity.
3. IRA was more of an independence war. Did Biafrans kill northern muslims during the Nigerian civil war because they were muslims?
4. KKK burned crosses but never justified their act based on any religious verse, or on Christianity.
5. People that kill abortion doctors do so mainly on their moral views, does not justify such act based on Christianity, and have no mass followers.

Show me a video of a Christian, who is beheading someone in the name of religion, i.e insulting Jesus or whatever. Or one who has blown up planes and building in the name of religion.
