Do yorubas have common boundaries with Igbos? I guess the answer is NO!
Do yorubas have anything in common with the Igbos? NO!
Do yorubas have the same value system with the Igbo? NO!
Do yorubas love Igbos? NO!

These are the reason why Igbos can never champion anything positive with the yorubas.
But surprisingly, the Itsekiris whom Biafra agitators like you suggest that the referendum will cover are basically Yorubas and they don't deny their Yoruba ancestry and don't have any known common boundary with Igbos. Likewise, most non-Igbo tribes of the SS share no common boundaries with Igbos nor do dey have same value system as Igbos. In fact where I come from in the SS is such that our value system orientation gives us a culture shock whenever we experience Igbos display their value system on first hand basis. To be more specific, during my NYSC years in the North, I did my primary assignment in the same place as one fellow corper from Akwa Ibom State and an Ibibio. We shared the same apartment. There were these two Igbo female fellow corpers whom both of us were just casual friends with due to proximity of residences. One day I went to market to buy a shirt and on getting back home I met these two Igbo girls on a visit to us and once I showed them the shirt, both of them expressed surprise that I went to market to buy only one shirt at a time Christmas was approaching and all corpers were preparing to travel home. When I asked them what was wrong about that, they laughed at me and explained that they have each bought fourteen different dresses for the two weeks they would be spending at home because in Igbo land the tradition is that as a diasporan on a visit back home, you wear a new dress each day till you return to base and that if you repeat a particular dress while at home you would be perceived as not doing well where you are. I was shocked at that kind of value system and that immediately killed the feelings of love I had begun to develop for one of them. Then I explained that in my own place no one cares what you wear or how rich or poor you have become but only care that you came back home alive and in good health to see them and that's all. The Ibibio guy said exactly same about his people. And that is the general value system in majority of SS ethnic groups. So what value system similarities are you talking about between SS people and Igbos?

Has multiverse management given any dividend too? I am at loss as to your claim that Japaul has not recorded capital appreciation all these years. Only if you know it has delivered over 1500% capital appreciation from early last year to this time. Anyway Japaul is for traders and not for investors to warrant looking out for its management's seriousness or otherwise.

Oga we can do this all day, but your plans have failed woefully. Gowon and not Ironsi is to blame for removing the regions. Abeg stop this stupidity and run along. You are talking of naked truth, Naked truth has been staring at you, and you refused to comprehend. Dude just rest you cannot win this one.
You are the stupid one for defending Ironsi just because he is a fellow Igbo like you. Your likes would have been arguing today that Ironsi's action was tantamount to destroying true federalism and regional system had Ironsi been a Yoruba man or an Edo man or even an Ijaw man.

That is the reason why, IP0B is much interested in referendum.
Referendum is the only thing that can represent the choice of a commoner in SS. And that is the only way we will know, if yorubas are actually the ones claiming "we niger delta" in all the social media platforms.
Why this focus on Niger Delta alone regarding this referendum? Are there not even some Yorubas who wish they could be part of Biafra and have publicly spoken in defense of Biafra and Kanu? Why not also argue that the referendum should be extended to Yorubas and indeed every part of Nigeria as there resides among other regions at least some Biafra sympathizers and supporters even more than the Niger Delta?

North central is not the issue at hand. The name biafra is in the caption of this thread and that is where SS comes in, not north central. If you want me to comment on the issue of north central, you have to open a thread for that.
The most important consideration in the composition of any group is the freewill choice of the proposed members. Pakistan was once part of India but with time they exercised their freewill to separate from India. Likewise some states in the US today weren't originally part of the union but later they exercised their freewill to join the union. Back in the days, the present Edo and Delta States together with the western parts of the present Bayelsa State were all part of the Western Region but they later exercised their freewill to separate from it. Therefore the fact that some states of the present SS were once together in the SE Region doesn't automatically deny them the freewill and freedom of choice to choose another political group they may now love to belong. They have repeatedly made themselves clear that they are not interested in Biafra and that they were never collectively interested in it.

Your most viable options are:
1. As a person who can teach Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics, you are a very hot cake and even though private schools managements in Nigeria are generally mean, there are still few out there that are reasonable enough to appreciate you for these subjects and never play with your occupational welfare. So look out for another school. But it is important that when you are in the process of searching for another school, you don't present yourself as desperately looking for that job as that is usually the foundation of the disdain and ill treatment you will later get from the management.

2. Find a way to be self employed. Going by my own personal experience, I can boldly say that your residing in Lagos is already an advantage in regard to this because Lagos is practically the only city in Nigeria where your skills sell fast especially if you are excellent in those skills.

2.

Irony1:

Under the Unitary decree Nigeria formally ceased to be a Federation and was renamed the ‘Republic of Nigeria’, the Federal Executive Council became the ‘National Military Government’, the Federal Executive Council became simply the ‘Executive Council’ and Lagos the ‘capital territory’. The Regions were formally abolished, but the Provinces (the next largest administrative division below the Regions) were grouped into ‘the Northern Group of Provinces’, the ‘Eastern Group of Provinces’, etc. These Groups corresponded exactly with the previous Regions and the four Military Governors continued in office administering the same area as before.

The Military Governors however lost the power to incur expenditure on their own responsibility without prior consent. The federal and regional public services were unified into a single ‘National Public Service’. Control over the most senior posts was centralized. The power to appoint and dismiss ‘ persons to hold or act in the office of permanent secretary to any department of government of the Republic or any other office of equivalent rank in the National Public Service’ was vested in the Supreme Military Council. The National Public Service Commission was to be consulted before any such appointments were made. The power to appoint, promote, dismiss, and discipline in relation to all other administrative posts was vested in the National Public Service Commission.

This power was delegated except for the most senior posts to Provincial Public Service Commissions. The power to appoint the members of the Police Service Commission was vested in the Head of the National Military Government (under Decree No. 1 it had been in the Federal Executive Council).
Unfortunately, in all your responses you have not been able to address the question you are asked which is simply; what did Ironsi mean with the bolded lines in his broadcast? Until you answer this question very directly, you will remain an Ironsi appoligist shying away from the naked truth.

Come to think of it, what makes you think the youth of nowadays will get it better given the opportunity to rule as peradventure president? Dey play! The youths have already been perverted by the incessant misrule of you elders all these while and the probability of them coming to their right senses is near zero.

So impossible. Majority of southwestern youths are clowns 🤡 let me not even talk of the northern youths, those ones live and act under the detect of imams.

The only youths we have in this country are south east and south south youths, never forgetting my ever rugged and ruthless Edo youths, I love those guys.

Others claiming to be youths are all stooges programmed to defend undefendable actions, justify unjustifiable deeds, rationalize irrational policies of these old nonentities called leaders.

Nigeria is a joke hence I can't be tired laughing at it.
The same Edo youths against whom you lots sustained for six good years a very rabid campaign of calumny and unprintable name calling like Fulani slaves, fake SS people, cousins of the SW, black sheep of the SS Region, betrayals, etc for the 'crime' of giving Buhari as much as 40% votes in 2015 election?
What has now suddenly changed?

But you lots always tag Kaduna Nzeogwu's coup as "Igbo coup" can you tells why?

First and foremost, the coup was plotted, hatched and led not by Nzeogwu but by Ifeajuna - a native of Onitsha in today SE Region. That said, the coup is correctly tagged Igbo coup not because of the tribe of those who plotted or executed it. Only a very dishonest person would pretend not to understand that a coup plot which is a very secrete endeavour by its very nature could only be shared with very trusted and close friends who are most likely to be from one's own ethnic group. However the coup is tagged an Igbo coup because of the pattern of casualty. Pray tell us how many Igbo politicians were killed in comparison to the other ethnic groups' politicians who were killed in large numbers and in the most cruel and gruesome manners. Were all the Igbo politicians in government back then saints and smelling of roses regarding the corruption which the coupists cited as their reason for stricking?

What Ironsi did was not patriotism. It was an attempt to bring to fruition the Zikist ideology of superiority and dominance. He needed not to have tampered with the arrangement ab initio, if he had any integrity. Patriotism my foot. Guess you see where the 'patriotism' has brought Nigeria today? Did history show you how he was brutally executed by Northerners? Now you're screaming for Biafra. You can't eat your cake and have it.
Don't mind them. When they commit serious crime against others they call it patriotism or nationalism. Imagine a supposedly educated person describing a blunder as an act of patriotism just because his brother committed it. But the same people villify Gowon for equally creating states to frustrate Ojukwu thus keep Nigeria one. How a people so brazenly use double standards without any shame or conscience pricking them at all remains a puzzle to me. So Ironsi a barely educated soldier knew what patriotism entails more than the seasoned graduates of some of the world's most prestigious universities who drafted the Independence Constitution?

Igbos are never the cause of anyone's problem

I would say this a thousand times igbos are by far the most patriotic Nigerians

You lots hate Ojukwu for declaring Biafra

You also hate ironsi for trying to keep the country together

.if Igbos are patriotic they're blaimed

If they're not , they're still blaimed

About Adaka Boro declaring Niger Delta republic

You realise some parts of Cameroon was part of eastern region they left by a referendum no one had issue with people following due process then

Adaka Boro picked up arm against federal troops to declare Niger Delta republic

Even if it's Yorubas or Hausas are general in charge military positions then,
The attempt of breaking away from Nigeria would have still been futile no nobody sit down and watch militia group declare a republic and hail them!
It's not done anywhere! Biafra was faught for same reason.

Both arrest of Adaka Boro and Awolowo were ordered by then prime minister Tafawa Belewa
Zik was just a ceremonial president

Had Niger Delta combined with Biafra declaring independence from Igbos will be easier than anything

We saw it happen when southern Cameroon left eastern region via referendum

Again

Ironsi was blaimed for being patriotic to keeping Nigeria one

Ojukwu was blaimed for trying divide same country you don't want united!

If you want to know who is behind everything that happened

Check who is enjoying the oil wells and everything now

I'm particularly glad Igbos are blessed beyond major

We are not bothered at all

The bolded alone clears all doubts of your ignorance of Nigeria political history. Tafawa Balewa was killed on the 15th of January 1966 and Adaka Boro was arrested in March same year yet you unabashedly claim here that Boro's arrest was ordered by a dead Balewa? Please look for comedy or romance section of NL and go and be playing there. Political history section is clearly not meant for you.

Aguiyi Ironsi dissolved the regions to keep Nigeria one, you say? Was anyone asking for the break-up of Nigeria before he took over power through the backdoor and imposed himself on Nigeria? If anything he actually divided Nigeria because his decrees were rejected by the majority of Nigerians and his insistence on letting them be led to the agitations for division begining with Araba calls followed by Niger Delta Republic declaration. Please go and read first before coming here.

Never fall in love with any stock.
That Union Homes broke too many hearts and took lives.
When I visited home lately I met a woman who told me her husband had been on hospital bed for three months without any progress being made on his treatment due to lack of funds, but that the man recently disclosed to them that he owned some shares which he bought at over a million Naira before 2010 and which if sold would take care of his treatment bill and still have left over. I asked her what company shares. When she mentioned Union Homes, my pity for her was not about how badly the price of Union Homes has plummeted but because of how difficult it would be to even find a buyer for it as of now.

I received a pay-off from Union Bank yesterday afternoon. I nearly shed tears of sadness. I obtained a loan of five hundred thousand naira in 2005, as a civil servant, and invested same on Union Bank shares, with no appreciable dividends declared, since then.
I was paid fifty thousand naira yesterday, for five hundred-thousand-naira investment in 2005. This is sad, and unfortunate. A discouragement on investing in shares, which I believe now should be for those who wish to trade in shares, and not for civil servants, who are thinking of life, after retirement.
Most of our investment on shares, between 2003 and 2008, were wasted by some Directors, of the quoted companies.

I too had a similar experience some time ago and the lesson I took away from it is that after buying a stock, one must not allow a single day go by without checking up the closing price on the exchange and searching the internet for any latest news about the company. In addition no stock on NSE is worth the kind of long-terming you did for Union Bank (2005 - 2023) i.e 18 solid years.

Therefore, I only buy Seplat if it falls by a cumulative 50% in four to five days so that in the next four to five days, it is likely to give you 100%. Anything short of that, Seplat is a no-go-area for me.
