3/4 is better than 1/4. In fact, the remaining part is learnable. I’m glad it’s vital. I will apply wisdom. So, it’s Sister A for me. |
BENEAMATA:Everything is on record including dates and timelines in case Dr Congo decide to make any changes to the law. I believe the NFF has all the necessary information before initiating the challenge. We await FIFA’s decision. |
I support the NFF’s decision to challenge the issue of player eligibility. The game should be fair and equitable, in line with FIFA rules. It’s unfortunate that the uproar is coming after a defeat, but a loss does not mean the NFF should ignore a possible rule violation. If there is a loophole or breach, it is right to seek clarification through the proper channels. Let the game be fair and decided strictly by FIFA regulations. |
bunmioguns:Agreed, it was a game and it ended with the Super Eagles failing to score. For the sake of fair play, the NFF is challenging the eligibility of the players used. If it is found that the rules were violated, then the matter should be settled in court. The NFF did not break the rules by fielding ineligible players just to score and win, as every team aims to do. |
The sky above the seas was dark, thick with clouds. A chilling silence ruled the ocean as strange winds swirled across the surface. Somewhere in the unseen world (not of earth, nor entirely of spirit) a towering throne loomed, floating above the water. Upon it sat Iblis, the cursed one. Once a devoted worshiper of God, now the chief of rebellion. His eyes glowed with ancient arrogance. His face bore the scars of divine rejection — a reminder that his eternal war was not with humans, but with the God who chose them over him. This was his daily court. Around him gathered his commanders, hordes of shayāṭīn (devils), invisible yet active, dispatched across the earth at dawn. They returned one by one to report their victories. 🔥 The Reports Begin The first one approached, cloaked in shadows. “I caused a man to oversleep and miss the dawn prayer,” it hissed. Iblis waved him off. “He’ll make it up later. That’s nothing.” Another stepped forward: “I filled a heart with pride after they gave charity. They thought themselves righteous.” Iblis smirked, “Better. Pride is my poison. But still… small.” A third slithered in: “I whispered into the ear of a scholar. He now believes his knowledge is enough, he stopped seeking and his heart hardened.” Iblis leaned forward slightly, “That seed will grow… clever.” Then came a dark figure, taller than the rest, with a grin stitched across his face. “I whispered into the heart of a wife… I magnified every fault in her husband. I reminded him of old wounds. I made their tongues sharp. I did not leave them until he slammed the door and walked away. Their marriage is over.” The court fell silent. Iblis rose from his throne. He descended and embraced the devil, his words venomous and gleeful: “You. Have. Done. Well.” “Destroying a marriage? You’ve destroyed a fortress. You've broken what Allah built. You've opened the door to generations of pain. Sit beside me today.” 🧠 The Whisperers and Planners Other devils came forward reporting how: - They made sins look beautiful and harmless — normalizing adultery, greed, and mockery. - They fed doubts into the minds of believers about God’s justice, mercy, and existence. - They pushed some into despair: “You’ve sinned too much. God will never forgive you.” - Others they led into arrogance: “You are better than them. You are saved already.” Some worked slowly, planting ideas over weeks or years. Others moved fast — a word here, a nudge there and watched humans crumble like dry leaves. Iblis cherished both methods. 👁️ Final Orders of the Day As the court neared its end, Iblis stood and bellowed: “Scatter again, my servants. Be subtle like perfume on wind. Hide in screens, in songs, in ego and fears. But remember…” “The greatest victory is not when they sin. It's when they sin and stop turning back to God.” “Make them forget repentance. Make them ashamed to pray. Make them delay. Make them think they have time.” The devils bowed low and vanished into the shadows. 🌙 Back on Earth… A believer sat quietly in his room, heart heavy with guilt. He had shouted at his wife. He skipped prayer. He knew he was wrong. Then, a gentle whisper came: “There’s no point. You’re a hypocrite. God is tired of you.” But suddenly, another whisper, softer and clearer: “Say: O My servants who have wronged themselves, do not despair of Allah’s mercy...” (Qur’an 39:53) He wiped his tears, made ablution, and fell into sujūd (prostration). In the unseen realm, one devil screamed in frustration. His seed had failed. The human had returned. 🧠 Final Thought: Satan’s army works daily to: - Distract - Divide - Deceive - Demoralize But God’s mercy is always greater than their tricks. As long as a person turns back, repents, seeks truth, Satan loses. Every time.

Feed on this: https://www.nairaland.com/2518972/dangote-refinery-recruiting-closes-15th/5 And make a proper investigation before going. Besides, it amazes how Dangote will be recruiting with a dumb empty web address. Even smaller growing businesses don't do that. Fake web address speaks; every info might be fake.

englishmart:Ask the person who created you to guide you. Someone must have created you. The signs are enormous. Look at the wind and feel how it blows and compare that to the wind from a ceiling or standing fan. You can see that this wind of air is from a ceiling fan. Think about it every day. |
This thinking about God will provide for them is a great and faithful mindset if it's sincerely from their heart and not hypocrisy. That means if you have more kids and you believe God will provide, then work it out with faith, and it will happen amazingly. It's funny how religious we can be but we aren't faithful to God and ourselves. For example in business, some entrepreneurs who don't even believe in God, all he or she has is vision or dream and they held it tight like something big which is true. They believe strongly in it with the assurance it will materialize if backed by action. |
She is right, how we think is the result we are getting. The few great thinkers among us need to work to make the change visible. I understand peer pressure and play along but it's about you - be authentic. |
The guy is not smiling ![]() |
naijadrivablog:It has passed the message. Tech is only a tool, but your fellow human behind the tech is the most important thing. Hope you get it. For instance, when people commit suicide, I don't like many comment people pass in this forum such as the person being coward, weak and others. Seriously, the better we start thinking positively and helping each other, the better for us all. let's think and if you don't believe or even think through my words, so be it. You're right. Every act or thought has consequences or reaction. We're all responsible for every inch of the result. |
I don't know how the Nigeria media will do this. They should stop broadcasting such sensitive viruslicious negative news about suicide and even worse, organizing it as a story. If the Nigeria media can't stop it especially in this age of social media and social freedom, we the people of Nigeria should spit positive thought, think solution, say kind words whenever one of us commit suicide (though, I pray it never happen again). |
This is not a joke. It's high time the government and any sensible organization take over religious power and activities. Scums are breeding and they must be weed out completely. |
Standing on Tomb is wrong. Simple etiquette people must know.

INEC deserve a cursory look, there are lots of loopholes. |
INEC has a problem - they are part of the problem to our democracy, leadership, and development of this country. They conduct the election and partially decide who will finally lead our dear country Nigeria. This organization social impact has been taken lightly. They’ve denied many people of their right to vote. Many people who applied for transfer of their voter card never get it including this writer. I have been chasing mine since August Last year. I did all the processing, fill the form and all. They said, come December and I went, it’s not yet available and besides, they said I will receive a text message. I kept going, your card is unavailable and till now, no text message, HOPE lost. Someone should give me proof of testimony if the transfer of voter card work. They want me to lie the next time, perhaps, like my fellow Nigerians that “my card has lost; I want to register a new one”. Yes, that’s what they want. That’s the bad culture in Nigeria. Many Nigerians cherish honesty as value but most government organizations such as the Police and government officials are the ones who spit and spread the culture of dishonesty and it becomes a way of life. Someone should rebuke me. Now, to the REAL DEAL: They’ve postponed the election - to our face, we the electorate – the kingmakers. Whether it’s a script or not, this is the beginning of great happenings. The people who are electorate need to rise up against this pollution by INEC. It’s high time we take a deep cursory look every second at this organization – INEC. Nigerians must demand for the amendment of INEC. The INEC chairman, all its commissioners, and other top positions must be elected by the people with no government interference. I just want solutions to all this menace because this INEC we have not been observing is very powerful. Its impact is great… and we must think and be observant. Nigerians must take charge of INEC. I hereby call for the movement for the amendment INEC, its constitution and everything.

This is freaking not funny and at the same time, it's funny. Nigerians have a lot of work to do men. This is the result of the majority. |

Olalake:Yes, I can relate with that. |
I was invited to speak at a business seminar. Though, it was impromptu - just a few days to the D-day. So, I didn’t look deeply through the seminar invitation sent but was preparing for the topic given. I got to know about the seminar theme on D-day, though it never affects my preparation. The theme: Bringing Life to your Business. I make changes to my delivering unprepared and is part of what inspired this post. Bringing Life to your Business. What’s life to you? If you were to say “I got a life”, what does mean to you? Some of my audiences said, “existence”, “human”, “active” (the fellow has a clue) and many more. According to the literal meaning, Life is the existence of an individual human being or animal, a period between the birth and death of a living thing, especially a human being. To my reasoning, life is beyond that. Take a look at plant life. They’re all useful to us and its degree of usefulness differs, that’s life. The sun that rises every day to supply us with energy is highly useful. That’s life because, without it, we would’ve been extinct. The political leaders who think more of their people, how to better their lives and striving to make it effective, that’s life. The business leaders who are always striving for better products and quality service delivery, that’s life because they’re useful. A husband and father who show love and care to his wife and children, lead and manage his home intelligently and effectively is useful. That’s life. The same goes for the wife and mother, who cares for her children and appreciate her husband is used to the family. Even as an employee, you’ve got to be put in your best, display excellence at work and feel useful to the company vision, mission, aim and objectives. Life is about being useful to one another. If you’re not positively impacting another fellow live, you’ve got no life and need to accept something is wrong here, think and work about making an amendment. There is no shame in that but you’re progressing. Life is about duties and responsibilities to another fellow being and everyone has it. To have life, you’ve to discover your inner gift. You can’t know this by being still but active. That’s what makes you unique, intelligent and the powerful species on planet earth. You’ve to be active. To discover your inner gift, be adventurous along your journey. Accept many jobs, duties, and responsibilities. Not at the same time, but as opportunities come along your journey, take advantage of it, even if you don’t love the job or activity, you might end-up be loving it. Love is one of the most important attributes of your inner gift. Love rules our world. After the discovery of your inner gift, you need knowledge and practice. Don’t assume you know it all no matter your level. You’ve just got started. There are people who highly knowledgeable than you. Go and learn from them. Go to universities or college or online college or universities, learn from the Elders and Mamas who have vast knowledge and practical experiences in that field. This is to help you with one goal in mind – to have Life and feel useful to others. This is business aspect of it. You’ve to be able to sell yourself to the electorates, employers, customers, your wife, and husband. In real business, this is where marketing comes in. The world needs to know and understand you. What’s the essence of life if you can’t be useful to more and more people? This is Life for me. Life is about feeling useful to one another. Like how Nairaland provides this publishing medium. And it’s challenging and fun! You’ve it - everyone has that capacity and degree. It’s all in your mind. What’s Life to you? What meaning can you give to life? Share your thought –let’s learn from you.

https://www.pri.org/custom/files/imagecache/gp3_small_article/lagos-traffic-taxi-2011-6-23.jpg I've been so sad since accident news went viral. I can't even watch the video because the images have spoken messages. I can't bear the wailing sounds or see people in pains. Are we in hell? So much death and if NO, we must make a heaven out of Nigeria. We must push stop to untimely death emanating from a road accident. The solutions I propose are: 1. Commercial driving gets regulated. This is the time for the State government to enforce strict regulations on every soul using the road. From drivers to riders and pedestrian. everybody is important and they should every category fair and equal. I could remember early last year I was walking on the road facing the Berger bus stop. A man whose appearance seems like an officer uniform ordered me to turn back and use the walkway. Instantly, I obeyed and since I've used the walk-way which seem well-fenced. I've noticed people not using the walk-way and I think, there is no officer regulating anymore. This is sad and worrisome. You and I must obey the rules for using the road. Everybody coming out from their home to use the road must obey the law guiding it. Because if not, you will endanger others with the wrong action and cause more problem that will require time, energy and money to resolve. The enforcement agencies have to be proactive. They should start with themselves, clean their mess before they start dealing with the masses. They need to keep enlighten the masses and be strict with offenders and penalties. The goal here is to create the culture in our society for using the road. 2. Overhaul of the bus drivers: The state government have been proposing this and is a time they look through it deeply. This is quite simple==> the government will have more control and better organize at enforcing them and this can limit accident from their section. 3. More fire stations located on the highway 4. Invest in a database, in a case for a road. 5. Curb corrupt practice among unpatriotic road officers Do you think of anyone? Pls do share The government needs to get back to their drawing board and work out how this sad incident will not repeat itself again. If nothing is done, we expect no changes and it might repeat again. |
AishaBuhari:I'm using Glo as well and it's very fine. |
What a shithole country with shithole people, most of the comments i have read are dumber. Instead of them to berate the poor police for not showing any sympathy, you accuse her to be dumb. When are we going to develop, even think further development when things are right and better, and improve our services and lives. If a leader tag us shithole, it's you and I. We have work to do Nigeria people. A lot of things are wrong and we're celebrating, I refuse to belong. |
1. Sex is difficult :Men should up their game. Learn to make your wife happy and satisfy her sexually by giving her vagina orgasm not the other way round. How will you feel as a man doing it without orgasm? Who say ladies don't like sex, they dislike bad experiences. |
CHIEF OLU FALAE SPOKE THE MINDS OF HONEST AND PROGRESSIVE NIGERIANS- THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT RESTRUCTURING NIGERIA IS ALL ABOUT . FOR THOSE STILL GREEKED BY THE TERM, THIS IS THE MEANING OF RESTRUCTURING AS CANVASSED BY SOUTHERN NIGERIA BY~Chief Olu Falae You know I am a leader in the South West and at the National convention, I was elected as the leader of the Yoruba delegation. So, I am central to the Yoruba position. The Yoruba position is my position and it is the same position I canvassed in my book, ‘The way forward for Nigeria’ which I launched since 2005 in Lagos. What we mean by restructuring is going back to the Independence Constitution which our leaders negotiated with the British between 1957 and 1959. It was on that basis that the three regions agreed to go to Independence as one united country. So, it was a negotiated constitution. This is because, if the three regions were not able to agree, there would not have been one united independent Nigeria. But because the three regions at that time negotiated and agreed to package a constitution, that is why they agreed to go to Independence together. When the military came in 1966 and threw away the constitution, they threw away the negotiated agreement among the three regions, which was the foundation of a united Nigeria. So, the military did not only throw away the constitution but a political consensus negotiated and agreed by our leaders of the three regions in those days. When we say restructuring now, we are saying let us go back substantially to that constitution which gave considerable autonomy to the regions. For example, each region at that time collected its revenue and contributed the agreed proportion to the centre. But when the military came, they turned it round and took everything to the centre. That could not have been accepted by Ahmadu Bello, Nnamdi Azikiwe or Obafemi Awolowo. This constitution we are using was made by late Gen Sani Abacha and the military; and Abacha came from only one part of Nigeria, so he wrote a constitution that favoured his own part of Nigeria. That is why I am saying, let us restructure and go back to what all of us agreed before. That is the meaning of restructuring. The regions used to be federating units, but in today’s Nigeria, they would now be called federal regions because states have been created in the regions. So in the West, you now have federation of Yoruba states which would belong to the Nigerian union at the centre. So, it is not like the region of old with all the powers. No. It is now going to be a coordinator of the states in the zone. That is what we mean by restructuring. And the regions would have a considerable autonomy as they used to have. For example, for the younger people, they may not know that every region then had its own constitution. There were four constitutions at independence –the Federal constitution, Western constitution, Eastern constitution and Northern constitution. That was how independent they were and every region had an ambassador in London. The ambassadors for the regions were called Agent General so that you do not confuse them with that of Nigeria then called High Commissioner. So, Nigeria had four ambassadors in London. The ambassador for Nigeria then called a High Commissioner was M.T Mbu. The ambassador for Eastern Nigeria then was Mr Jonah Chinyere Achara, Western Nigeria was Mr Omolodun and for Northern Nigeria, it was Alhaji Abdulmalik. There were four of them. That was the kind of arrangement we agreed to, but the military threw it away and gave us this over-centralised unitary constitution. So, we said this is not acceptable any more; we must go back to the negotiated constitution which gave considerable autonomy to the regions, so that they can compete in a healthy manner. For example, Chief Obafemi Awolowo wanted to introduce free education in the West and other regions said they could not afford it, but he went ahead to introduce it in the Western region. He said he wanted to pay a minimum of five shillings a day, while others were paying two and three shillings. He went ahead and passed the law, making five shillings the minimum wage in Western Nigeria. There was no problem with that. In Western Nigeria, the constitution provided for a House of Assembly and the House of Chiefs. In Eastern Nigeria, there was no House of Chiefs because they did not think they needed one. There was no problem with that and that is the kind of Nigeria we negotiated in London, but that is different from what we have today. So, we are saying let us go back to that arrangement which all of us agreed at independence and not what Abacha imposed on us, which is very partial, unfair and one-sided. That is the meaning of restructuring; it is to restructure unfairness and give semi-autonomy to the federating units. Chief Olu False is a leading Yoruba leader and waa Head of the Southwest Delegation to the Jonathan National Constitutional Conference. |

Missali:You ladies should be wiser and you can only get wiser by following and sticking to the best moral laws and practice. I don't see anything called future in a gambler and it likes, unless your man is not 100% dependent on it for a living and he devotes less time to it, perhaps once a month. If you know your man is exhibiting wrongs morals, it's your duty to push him straight or else the relationship is not going to work except you are of like minds. So be it, you deserve it. You should stand by a hustling man with a high moral standard. I've seen ladies who choose this path, so it works. |
Can you guys feel the difference in leadership? During Obasanjo, this woman doesn't dare steal a penny but during GEJ, it happens. |
