Jobs/VacanciesRe: Interview With Mike Adenuga by dearie(m): 1:56pm On Jul 26, 2006
Just like others have said, Be bold and confident! Dont get unnecessarily jittery when he feigns anger. He is a human being like you. The worst that can happen is that he wont give u the job, it wont make u less-a-human.

Pray b4 the Interview, and believe the outcome will be positive, if not, then the job isn't urs. There will always be a purpose for everything!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Important Note For Job-seekers by dearie(m): 1:46pm On Jul 26, 2006
@ Tonisafe
Nice Message, but your tone could have been Milder, the harsh undertone seems to convey an ulterior motive.
Just my Opinion. However, I' m with you on your points.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: U.s Visa by dearie(m): 1:38pm On Jul 26, 2006
I suppose you are convinced that it was intended to swindle you of whatever it is, that is best known to them.
I sure know that this truth will appear bitter, but if u are yet to be convinced, you can take a drive to the Embassy in lagos, if u are around lagos, or get anyone to do it for you, to confirm it.

Be careful!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Breweries Has Started Inviting by dearie(m): 2:06pm On Jul 24, 2006
Hey guys, I was at Nigerian Breweries HQ today to find out if the IVs' were going to be in batches and guess what the response was after wiating all day?
" It's not going to be in batches, those that are invited are expected to come for the test as scheduled" End of quote.

What it means to me, is that if u dont get invited, dont think of waiting for another set of IVs' that may never come, just get all the info and storm the venue. Nothing dey Happen!

NICON don teach me sense!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Intelligent And Focused Minds Needed For My NGO by dearie(m): 10:21pm On Jul 23, 2006
@ godfadda6
I cant agree with you any less, I've come to realise that atimes you will need to make sacrifices that will be so monumental in proportion and will cost you dearly to be able to make meaningful impact in any chosen NGO, and i guess that's what explains people's early exit from such NGOs'.

However there are still some persons who are willing to go all the way, lets not be unmindful of the peculiarity of our situation. Poverty is really taking it's toll on our social services, you have to be balanced in life to be able to make meaningful contribution, and as such you wouldn't want to help at the detriment of your job.

We just need to open our arms to those who are willing and give them serious orientation b4 they are initiated, make them know it's no profit-making organisation, so the issue of remuneration should never arise, and from there you can decipher if the person is genuinely in or not.

@ Lifted
I got your mail. Thanx for the confidence, I'm sure we will make a good team with God on our side.
I shall get in touch with you soon.
Keep the flag flying high.

To UNICEF/NYSC Peer Educators in the house, I salutation! I hope you are still preaching the 'gospel', remember it should continue until we acieve zero tolerance for HIV/AIDS.
Al da best.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nicon: Suprised! by dearie(m): 9:59pm On Jul 23, 2006
@ Zion
I think it's unfair to scribble such things in a public forum like this about a figure aspopular as Jimoh Ibrahim, whose intentions are supposedly aimed at ameliorating the tension in the land.

Moreso, talking about pay, What choice does a job-seeker who has nothing doing at the moment have, than to apply for any available job, afterwhich, one can now scout for a desirable job. It's about holding on to one, then looking for a choice job, without endangering the current job.

Let's look for a way to present our case (those of us that couldn't sit fior the test) and see if we can get another chance to take part in the recruitment, i understand it's going to be quite massive.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Youth Corper Wanted By International Non-Profit by dearie(m): 10:35pm On Jul 20, 2006
Hmmm, I love stuffs like this, I bet i would have gladly applied if i qualified for it. Well as for the Photo, I dont see any big deal in requesting ur photograph. I guess it is to curb impersonation, It's just like requesting for Passport.

Guys apply if u qualify, I know you would enjoy it, I did a lot of stuff for NGO's while serving and besides the fun of travelling here and there and meeting people, I was always smiling to the bank too, even though I didn't realise while volunteering that there were monetary incentives attached to the activities. It's all Fun!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Access Bank Test(21st July)by 7am by dearie(m): 10:24pm On Jul 20, 2006
Hey I hope u get to see this b4 the test.
I suppose it's recruitment for their sales force, if it is, then u have just 50 questions, Number series and shapes, Then u have shapes and sizes of diffrent objects,to determine what follows next.

Second stage: U would be given a PPA Form, to see if u match the person needed for the job.
Al da best.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Intelligent And Focused Minds Needed For My NGO by dearie(m): 9:59pm On Jul 20, 2006
Cool Idea, but it seems too feminine for my participation.
I love NGO's and identifiable with a couple of them, like HOPEWORLDWIDE Nigeria, UNICEF (HIV/AIDS Peer Educator), W.H.O (Kick Out Polio Campaign), Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency ,NDLEA Drug Free Campaign, and so on.

I wish I could be invited to join u girls, I could help with ideas that will see us realising this dream in no time.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Navy Recruiting Graduates! by dearie(m): 9:33pm On Jul 20, 2006
I think the pay is a bit exaggerated, i doubt if it's that much, anyway, the choice is urs.
