Jobs/VacanciesRe: Help Me: by dearie(m): 11:43pm On Jul 29, 2006
I think the previous respondents have said it all, I really dont think any 'genuine' organisation would demand money under any 'cloak' to offer u appointment.

I know it's bad news, but then u can still conduct a thorough research on it, who knows!

I still have my doubts though! #1,200 MAY NOT BE MUCH TO PART WITH but the effect is 'encouragement to someother swindlers' So think about it.

Nice comments! I will only say that, 'Everyday is for the thief, one day for the owner'. Our leaders dont learn from their fallen colleagues, it's terrible.

PoliticsRe: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by dearie(m): 8:16am On Jul 29, 2006
Does anyone understand the concept of 'misdirection"? It beats my imagination that everyone is pointing in one direction- OGUNLEWE!

Without holding brief for him ('cos he's not my man at all) I think we shl also look outside the box. Must it be politically motivated?

I feel Ogunlewe will not have envisaged b4 killing William (If he did) that due to their percieved rivalry he would be no the 1 suspect.

In essence, I'm saying it's possible, that someone (may be, a long time agrieved biz-partner of his) could have decided to strike him now, knowing that all eyes will be looking in the direction they are now.

Pls I'll implore the drafted detectives to explore the depth of their wit and not be prejudiced or be pre-empted by mere assumptions, 'cos anything is possible.

I pray God gives us the fortitude to bear this one irreparable loss!

I'll advise that, you always choose locations close to your place of abode, to cut down expenses like this.

NYSCRe: NYSC Batch A 2006 Corpers: Where Are You Posted? by dearie(m): 3:24am On Jul 27, 2006
Was looking thru to see if i could see anyone posted to Nasarawa state, Sure I served there, in a village called Wamba, it was an experience, that period remains my most memorable period since i became conscious of my existence.

It's up to u, wherever u are posted, u can make the best out of it. Come to think opf it, In the cities, people dont really regard corpers as much as the rural dwellers do, you are treated like a king in the rural areas.

Just pray to go anywhere you will be favoured, in my time, i worked for UNICEF, UNDP, W.H.O, & NDLEA. You can imagine the experience and 'pepper' that came with such assignments? Ibet most pple inb Lagos didn't make what I made.
The choice is all urs.

NYSCShould Nysc Be Scrapped? by dearie(op): 3:11am On Jul 27, 2006
Many believe NYSC is an avenue for some govt. officials to siphon money from the country's treasury, given the amount claimed to be spent on an average corper.

The argument is, NYSC isn't really doin much in promoting UNITY in the country, and as such should be scrapped, besides the peculiar nature of the country should ordinarily not encourage money to be 'wasted' in such manner, instead the money should be given in lump sum to every graduate in the country to start up something and be self-employed while those that are interested in seeking employment can do so without constituting a menace in any from to the community.

What do you think?
EducationBetween Private And Federal Universities by dearie(op): 3:04am On Jul 27, 2006
Given the mouth staggering tuition charged in Private Universities in the country, do you think their graduands will stand better chances in securing jobs compared to their counterparts from the Public Universities?

Do you really think employers will even place them on the same pedestal with graduates of federal universities?
EducationRe: The Best University In Nigeria? by dearie(m): 2:57am On Jul 27, 2006
The answer is very clear, get the statistics of schools chosen by JAMB applicants and you will have your answer.
no one needs a soothsayer to know that UNILAG is years and miles ahead of others, but if u r not convinced, take a stroll to JAMB office and confirm it.
BusinessBetween The Telecomms And Agric. Sector! by dearie(op): 2:46am On Jul 27, 2006
Currently statistics show that the agricultural sector accounts for monumental economic growth in most countries, but with the emerging trend in the IT World and Telecomms by extension, which sector would you vote more lucrative?
