In as much as I agree that Nigerias business terrain is fertile, one irony that hovers around us is the collapse of businesses here and there, yet we hear businesses thrive more here than some other places, and b4 u ask the next ques, they mention MTN,Virgin Nigeria and the likes., but how about the cart-pusher, the phone card retailers etc, is the market not for them too? What do u think? |
Good enough to remain in the market after the first phase of consolidation. |
what would be ur reaction if u stumbled on your friend and mum in bed? I hope u know this happens? |
When can u conveniently say u are fulfilled? Most people believe when they've achieved thier dreams, now the question is, what are the contents of these dreams? i.e is it when u become the UN sec. Gen. , President of your country, Richest person on earth, or can never feel fulfilled regardless of how monumental ur achievements are? |
very funny, but most of them can be answered correctly. |

I believe it's IBB, I understand he owns swatch, a good amount of shares in Rolex and the conglomerate that Adenuga fronts. Whether ill-gotten or not, the question is who the richest is regardless of the source of the wealth, and my pick is IBB. |
I'd simply be very clean thruougout the day and spend almost all day praying to God to accept me into Heaven as soon as i breathe my last. |
guys, we ought to be mindful of the sensitive issues we post on this forum, lets not forget it's public, besides this guys could be volatile, so i believe whatever seun is doin is in the interest of us all, so lets bear with him. Thanking you for ur understanding. |
Seun, It's not difficult seeing thru the horizon what the future holds for innovative minds like urs, little wonder why these 'belles' would roll over themselves for you. In summary, u are loaded and highly appreciated here. Thanx for giving us a forum that connects us so palpably and makes u buttery all along. You are d bomb brother! Keep it up. |
Niceties! From the very first day I logged on to Nairaland, I took notice of your posts and i knew this would happen someday. One striking thing about you is ur simplicicity and 'green' nature. Pls stay that way, u are highly cherished in Nairaland. |
I empathize with your sister on this terrible intertwined news. It may appear impossible for her to get the Visa, but then trust God on this, to see u guys thru' As for the Pastor, it's really unfortunate that beasts parade themselves as sheeps, and to think that A supposedly man of God would do this to a member of his flock is unimaginable. God will deal with him appropriately. |
It's quite fair, but i believe it doesn't really reflect the true aspirations of the nigerian populace, the order and some names on the list suggests my opinion. |
Is it true that the former Petroleum Minister, Don Etiebet has not only cross-carpeted to the money-bagged-PDP, but has also indicated his interest in running for the his state's Gubernatorial sit. Hmmm, I think the man has surely advertised his lack of direction and focus. For a highly placed elderstateman whom he ought to be, to stoop lowly after having a shot at the presidency to think of running for a post he ought to be mentoring the contestants on, I think it's a shame. What is wrong with our leaders, I think this attitude would fiurther intensify the tension in the state. I dont have anything against him, but i just have to state my mind. Do u agree with me? or you think it's glorious? |
Just curious! Sometime ago, I heard from an unreliable source that the UN secretary General is the Highest paid salary earner on this planet, is it true, or do you think it's someone else? If so, who is it? and how much are we looking at? As for me i don't think it's the UN sec Gen, I suppose corrosion Engineers earn more more than he does, but I don't have enough info to back that. What do you think? If you know, lets share it, at least for the knowledge! |
Thanx for the info. |
Thanx for the info. |
I have a female friend whom i admire so much as a friend but she wants a relationship and i dont think I fancy her enough or can ever nurse any romantic feelings for her, but the problem now is, she introduces this friend of hers to me, whom i think i want for a relationship, the more i see this friend of hers, the more convinced i get about my feelings for her. We are actually close and she's begining to notice my green light, and fears her friend would feel betrayed if she dances to my tune. I'm lost, what do i do? |
just pray it doesn't! |
Just did and my CV bounced back, guess the only available option is to visit their HQ |
Please answer the questions, and when is the test? Has anyone else been invited? |
Dont know, Just wish u all the best. |
Well, so much has been scribbled about oil companies and the telecomms. How about the manufacturing companies like Nigerian breweries, Guinness, WAMCO (Friesland)? I sure know they may not be paying as much as the oil companies, what could be the figures? How about the aviation sector, like Virgin Nigeria, british airways, Emirates air, swiss air, aero contractors etc., I hear they pay very juicy salaries too. Then u almost neglected the the UN organisations, though their entry Level could be M.SC Holders as they only offer Ad-Hoc appointments to bachelors degree holders. They can be considered also. |
Mere 750,000 P A, for all that bank stress, even first bank pays a lot more than that, at least I saw someone offer letter for executive trainee. It's really meager. |
My all time best movies are "Desperate Measure, Face off, and Eyes wide Shut". What will be ur best 3 movies of all time? |
How about OL D B? He's the most handsome of them all. ![]() |
When it is 9.00 PM, in Nigeria lately, you find most families glued to their TV's on AIT watching what you may call, the most popular flick on TV in the country lately (When u are mine). Why does it enjoy the kind of viewership it has now, throwing our local soaps to the bins? Are you a fan of this programme too? |
Tu face may be rich but not the richest, that's 2 much for him! He's just coming up, he may be among the top 5 richest nigerian musicians in future, but certainly not now. I doubt if he'll make the top 10 richest Nigerian musicians now. |
Thanx bechex, I suppose the lad now has a better understanding of this handling! |
She says hers bounced back and another says his's went thru' so keep trying and if it doesn't go thru', I'll advise you try taking the hard copy to their HQ. |
Thanx for ur info, I hope it's worth it? We need to know the time. Could it really be free for all? what if the turn out is unbearable? Anyway, pls lets just know the time. |
