Try to search using February dates, or is your travel urgent ?
Just do permutations generally using different dates or go on the airlines website, input your dates and tick the flexible option while searching so it’ll show you cheapest return fare in total.

My new application is 8 working days now. I think they’re keeping to time. My sister applied and total timeline was 23 working days thereabouts

I wasn’t tracking because there was zero progress but Someone on here asked me this same question when i said I got collection mail so I checked and saw it had changed to “Application Received By VAC“

Call early in the morning very very early 12-7 am. Maybe the issue is from your card, use another card.

I was low key giving them till the end of next week if no decision let me withdraw my application jejely because I have another trip to make let these guys not hold me to any ransom on top visa.
I wonder why they won’t stop taking new applications and clear their backlogs.

I don’t think so because as of when I started my enquiries they said escalations had stopped and we should just wait

Last enquiry prior to yesterday. As of 28th no decision but yesterday there was a decision

Yesterday was my 48th working day and I was told a decision has been made and I should wait and will be contacted within 10 working days by VAC
Let me add that my last enquiry was 28 December and no decision as of then

Don’t coarse anyone to respond to you, people who have answers either took their time to read back, research or experienced it first hand because everyone here except you knows that Nigerian bank cards have limits and can’t exceed a certain amount. So if there's a limit how will $2700cad fly? You should rather ask to suggest other payment options that will not take a dip in your pocket.

Don't even thing of it. Let me advice you. Get your admission first, pay that same 2.5m for your tuition and ygen come back here to get directives on how to apply fir your visa. Those agents are exceptional bastards and glorified idiots. They know nothing about canada. Worst part of it, they will hide information from you. They could even get you banned. Did you later submit a new application with your husband? And since the ETA for your current application has passed, did they respond to your webform? (if you submitted any)

Yes I submitted a new application with my husband a few days to Christmas, previous application nothing yet and I don’t know what steps to withdraw. I’ve not sent any web form to them as per that one since I’ve submitted a new one and looking forward to the new one.

Ellasdelight I will say you found favour, different officers deal with peoples applications and we have thousands of border officers in the Uk , some of them don’t even know what’s up they have to go to their supervisor to check somethings if there are issues or do a quick google search.

We have called them several times, same story. Decision made you will be contacted soon. I just tire.

If you’re not in a hurry to travel I’ll say wait, maybe check the VAC and fill them in on this situation because it’s pretty strange or withdraw application if you can spare the money for them.

This might be helpful for those waiting. My mum and younger sister did their biometrics on the 15th October, tracking online still says application received by DMC however, their collection email dropped this morning.

I think there is an issue with the online tracking.
