You’ll have to go on the vfs website, book an appointment for the biometrics and attend the appointment in person on the date and time you choose. Check the letter sent to you for locations close to you

Please check their website to be sure, I suggested them because they have many branches and they understand the assignment without stress. I know they’re in Asaba but I’m unsure of a Benin location.

You can’t get your biometrics done online, you’ll have to do it in person.

Madam, I am not IRCC neither did I say I was in my previous post. Last year there were no draws for several months , look at the first general draw points , the stats of candidates in the pool and how the draw points gradually dropped after pulling out the high numbers from the first four draws.
We can educate ourselves by simply looking at the statistics of candidates in the pool after every ministerial instruction declaring a draw , that way we all have an idea of what it’ll look like, it’s not bad belle or rocket science, I’m in the 460’s range and I like to be realistic even though a miracle can happen.

I am super sad as this my first time applying to UK, I did my biometric 29th of October and I got a refusal mail on the 2nd of Novemeber(priority).
However i feel upset as the consuler did not go through my supporting document infact he made a mistake in his explanation.I clearly stated that I was going to spend 1,200,000 for my trip and in his response he wrote 2,000,000 which I clearly and obviously dint write.I also stated that my husband was going to support with 1m which he transferred to my account and he attached a letter with his signature and stamp.
I also attached my salary account as well as piggyvest and investment account.
I would like to know the next step to take as I even typing this I am yet to get a collection mail from Tls.

Total amount of money you want to spend in two weeks is almost your per annum salary if I’m not mistaken, did you use oanda to calculate while filing your forms ?
Savings of £5000 and additional annual income of 5 million Naira do these two reflect in the activities of the account?

I don’t think the ECo had a problem with your husband supporting you , I think the problem is from the breakdown of funds you gave.

Ignore that person, typical Nigerian mentality just because he has a crs score of above 480 he wants to dash the hope of others with lower crs scores. The last crs cut-off for FSW which was in December 2020 was 468, so what that dude is insinuating is that when FSW resumes the crs cut off will be 480 something, just imagine!

Depending on the Statistics of scores in the pool right now and due to lack of general draws for 11 months now and depending on the number of people they’re going to invite per draw , the first general draw will surely be a crs score of above 480.

There are two ways to this. When I started my I application I mentioned it to an aunt of mine. I later heard rumors of my cousin saying I am not forthcoming with information on relocation to Canada. I reached out to him and asked him if we had ever discussed about Canada warranting such statement. I also reminded him that I have never been to canada but in case he is interested he needs to start by writing IELTS, evaluating his results, creating a profile on express entry. I basically told him all I did. Till date he has not even done the most basic (evaluation of result).

On the other hand, there are some people who are go-getters and work on information at their disposal while some are lazy and will want you to do everything for them

I agree with you on the above, simple research will give information and that’s what led everyone to nairaland. If anyone just sat around waiting for answers without putting the efforts well of course agents will help out at a huge sum.

A friend and her partner who applied for work permit got their passports back within 6 days, they sent to Abuja but had biometrics done in Lagos, when I get ppr it’s definitely Abuja way for me.

I second this comment , no wonder Uk moved to teleperformance. I remember the Uk submission days at Oregun, rude staffs , everything just terrible.
The day I went for my biometrics last month you needed to see how the lady staff on till 10 spoke to the guy just because his number was called twice, she was saying things like you think we are here to play , you’re wasting our time. A staff o to a customer coming to submit.
Vfs needs to do better if not other countries will withdraw their services gradually.

Are you visiting immediate or extended family member?

If not, and you answered none of the above in the preliminary questions, then you will be directed to the regular passport application site. Not the new portal.

Actually no, I don’t have any immediate family members in Canada and I was redirected to the new portal neither did I know of any new portal prior to my application, I only joined this thread after my application.

I concur it should be reviewed on the standard of reasonableness as per Vavilov & even Baker as this doesn’t fall under any of the exceptions.
The officer certainly didn’t take into consideration these factors and anyway this guy will certainly win IRCC and get his PR, I think some officer are yet to draw the line between reasonableness and correctness.

I don't know that what they mean is total amount of your money that you intend to spend on your visit to the UK. Estimate the amount and include flights, accommodation and everyday expenses.

Actually my disposable income is 220k and my husband wanted to sponsor me with 300k

All my travel budget is 7000k ie my 2 month disposable income is 440k, but I wanted to spend 400k and plus my husband 300k sponsor which he as transferred into my bank account

I put 400k at where they ask how much are you personally planning to spend on your UK instead of 700k ie my 400 disposable + 300k my husband use to sponsor me

Althought I have not go for my biometric and can I put this on a cover letter for correction or can I submit the print out of my application section where that asked the question and write 700k ?

Let me chip in that when I made an error I canceled the application and did the thing again , for tidiness sake. If you have to strength to begin all over it’s okay .
If you know anyone that has made an error and corrected it via cover letter and it worked then go for it.

I'm not sure what's going on but people paying for priority and still waiting to receive a passport pick up mail since September is just not fair. They need to refund the priority fees as it is only fair.

Nigerians will be scared to call them out , they need visa. I have called them out one time I went to submit and the self upload thing wasn’t working then , they made me pay 26k or so at the VAC and we were three.
First, it was stated on their website it’ll be done free since the fault is from them(the thing wasn’t working & I used the screenshot on their website against them) I called them out via emails, from TLS to the high commission, they refunded my money , they told me to go back to fill a form or something.
My mom kept saying I should not call them out o, so they won’t refuse my visa because my visa hadn’t come out , thank God I didn’t listen to her , no one refused me and I got my money back.

How do I answer this question so I don’t sound vague .

My main purpose is to visa for tourism for 4 days while visiting the us .how is the best way I can answer that question as a solo tourist .

I think you should just state it the way you’ve put it here. If you have your usa itinerary then include it. As for the covid vaccination card you can upload it at the end of the application prior to submission , on the place holder tagged “others”
