inflation has spiked in February and banks that ought to have increase lending to the preferred sector are not helping matters.
they allowed the government to decrease CRR in November but nothing to show for it.
so I expected the increase earlier in January mpc but its not too late.

If the closure date for dividend payment is 31st March to 3rd April, and price was marked down on April 1st, if i sell my holdings on April 2nd, am i still entitled to dividend payment knowing that closure of register is between 31st March to 3rd April?

no mind them.. it is still free so they won't have a clue. Abeg just go Diamond Bank if you have an account with them. make sure while going u have passport photos, the names of registrars to the shares u own, ur CSCS no and CHN, your bank account no with its sort code etc..

I saw the picture attached at Gwarimpa Branch in Abj yesterday. I ask and e-dividend registeration form of some registrar was printed for me by their customer care .

You will fill the form with passport attached,forward it to your bank to stamp and sign it,then ask them to upload that application on the e-dividend platform but ask for a copy also,I mean copy of endorsed form.Then forward it to the registrar to check the attached copy in your mail and ask them to check it online and confirm it.Request that they contact you when the confirmation is done.

Just so am clear,only one passport photo will do for the form or you need 1 passport for each registrar

What conditions make a company adjust share price even with the fact that it was trading at a higher price the day before and they decide to adjust it to a much lower price.

The equity price of Nigerian Breweries Plc was adjusted today 3rd of March 2016 for a dividend of N3.60 as declared by the board of directors. The last close price was N102.00, hence the ex-div price N98.40. Please be guided accordingly.

Hiding information is sometimes easy. Anyone who read inbetween the lines would have seen that coming from the last time dividend was declared and would have prepared. Oluwa is involved. Tomorrow go green

In respect of the current year, the Directors approved the payment of 17k per share (total dividend N340 million) as interim dividend at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on 17 July 2015. The Directors are proposing a final dividend of 43k per share. This dividend is subject to approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting and has not been included as a liability in the financial statement.

The naira yesterday, depreciated in value against the dollar across foreign exchange (FX) markets due to shortage of the greenback.

Specifically, the naira weakened by N20 or 6.45 percent to close at N360/$, compared with N310/$ on Friday last week at the parallel market.

Nigeria’s dollar reserves fell to $27.8 billion by February 25, a 1.6 percent decline from a month earlier, central bank data showed on Monday, Reuters report. That marked an 11.91 percent decline from the $31.57 billion recorded a year earlier, the data showed.
