Mayor, you didn't ask him where the noise is coming from. Though I'm not saying you are wrong.

Since he says it happens during turning, I strongly suspect his power steering pump belt is slack and needs replacement.

Op, please attend to that belt first and let's know if the problem persists.

During today's Deliverance service, the pastor touched every member of the congregation who fell down except me. I left out of place like I am possesd. This is not the 10th time it is happening to me. Even when I was in school, the student pastor would touch us all and only a few of us wouldn't fall.

The whole thing looks like a plan sort of. Maybe some people fall down intentionally? What could be happening? Is it that I'm possesd of what? Maybe I wasn't in spirit, I guess?

I just noticed that when the car sit for long time and try to start it it makes a griding sound

-How long have you used this car?
-When last did you change the engine oil?
-What specification of oil was in it before?
-What specification of oil have you replaced it with?

I suspect inhibited flow of oil ranging btw reasons like:
-Thick oil (thicker than spec)
-Presence of engine sludge
-Failing oil pump (cld be clogged oil pump strainer filter)

Your answers to the above question would help us know how to guide you.

You are absolutely correct as the diagnosis was a Weak Fuel pump. The guy actually used the fuel pressure tester and believe me I knew immediately that the fuel pump was the culprit.
The vehicle is now back to its one-time start mode.

I'm guessing likely problem Shld be the fuel pump pressure, but what do you mean by thirsty fuel pump, I tot all fuel pumps disperse the same pressure?

I said "thirty" as in 30 different fuel pumps.

I use a Nissan Primera 2000 Model. Recently I noticed the car does not start immediately untill after 3 to 5 mins. Even if it starts it goes again untill I give it little time before it starts normally and moves smoothly, no jerking, accelerates smo othly and normally, doesn't smoke,consumes fuel normally etc.

This is always a tricky issue and the usual reason is low fuel pressure.

Look out for faulty fuel pressure regulator or a weak fuel pump.

I say its tricky cos a kazheem cld make you buy thirty new fuel pumps and still not solve the problem and a car scanner won't even help you here.

Make sure your mechanic has a fuel pressure tester to work with else he might beat about the bush till thy kingdom comes n make u spend more money than necessary.

The technology is well accepted in Nigeria, only that most times we have to rely on foreign markets foe genuine spares.

You can go ahead to by that car of your dream. As long as you maintain regularly and according to manufacturer specs, you and your car wld be fine.

In fact that was part of the problem, the car was finding it hard going up hill in addition to the vibration. But after he changed it the car leapt forward like a cheetah at first test . Now he's going to look into the vibration which actually did lessen after the work.
Unfortunately he's busy with other jobs at hand so I have to wait for him to finish with those. Like I said earlier, we got the car on the cheap and I was even considering changing the Engine if need be. Someone told me an engine from Lag would cost about 180K and I was thinking about it but the belt and tensioner change have turned me to a believer in the old engine.

timing belt and tensioner? ...fingers crossed sha.

Those two things you mentioned wld make your engine vibrate in rare cases. Most times it wld make ur engine not rev or not run at all.

Hello Gurus in the house,

I need help with my car. The engine revs up and down all by itself. The effect is exactly like someone gently pressing down on the gas pedal and then letting up, over and over. This effect is most notable when the car is parked, but also occurs when stopped for red lights, or even during low-speed driving (under 35 mph or so).

The car in question is a Nissan X-Trail 2008 model.

This issue is usually associated with your engine air intake system. there could be a leak which lets in un-metered air or or a faulty Idle Air Control valve (IAC). Which ever way, you need to have the vehicle scanned to narrow down the culprit.

Trust Gazzuzz for a scan and subsequent repair if you are in Lagos.

And what's it about this car that our primitive minds cannot comprehend?

Hi house. We stumbled on a deal recently where we got a toyota solara , 2006 quite cheaply. The looked good and appeared to have no problems except the vibration we noticed when the.car is revved.
At first we thought the vibration was being caused by may be the exhaust pipes being out of place or a bad engine seating, but after careful examination it appears they're not.
The engine appears sound but one mechanic is saying the only way to get rid of that vibration is if we change that engine. The problem is that changing the engine would make a sweet deal turn, may be not sour but not too sweet.

Possible misfire.

The 2007 Honda city comes with a 1.5V Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). you should use a CVT fluid for it. Please, look for the ATF labelled "HONDA GENUINE CVT FLUID"

Get your self a new gearbox. There's nothing wrong with your brainbox unless the mechanic keeps doing things that burn it like short circuiting.
