The only way to win our match against Cote de Voire: Clone 9 additional Victor Moses and play them on the pitch with the original Victor Moses + Victor Enyeama, that means we'll have all 11 players as "Victors" which will ascertain our Victory. The rest of the players are dimwits. undecided

sweetcheecks: Guys forgive for getting involve in Nigerian discussion but this is too inhumane to ignore.

Before accusing your police and government officials (atleast accuse them for not thinking) creating more hopelessness, have you thought about the following?:

1) That members of your communities could be involved in this? Through funeral parlours and burial homes?
2) I am not sure how your police intelligence works but they should have started searching all funeral homes along the river or even all neighbouring states .
3) This could be a simple scam/fraud /robbery related issue.
4) Think about this how come such a big number could be murdered and the families are not making a noise looking for them? Unless they were already dead. Maybe the families thought they burried or cremated their loved ones but some greedy burrial service has not cremated them or their coffins were very expensive so the pretended to burry them then later came and took the coffins to resell and dispose of the bodies.

Look not saying for sure but in cases of cremation such scams have happened around the world becouse cremation is very expensive. So when scrupulous business people wanted to make quick buck, they disposed off the boddies and gave family fake ashes.
Just saying, think about it? Could be disposal issues than murder. undecided

My two cents!
From your profile, i think you are South African. Here in Nigeria, the norms that follow fomalities in burying the dead is very different from what you have there in SA. Firstly, Nigeria does not make use of Burial Services but the burial of deceased persons are solely the responsibility of the family members. Esp the eastern part of Nigeria where it is taken very seriously.
Secondly, we don't cremate our dead here in Nigeria. So the possibility that there was a fraud from funeral homes or palors is completely ruled out.
These were extra-judicial killings carried out by the police whose members are mostly made up of people from the northern and western part of 9igeria. The people from these zones hate the easterners so much for no apparent reason.

ebucha: A police check point is about 100m away from the place. A man living close bye said he had on two occasions seen the Anti Robbery Squad of the police disposing bodies there. He spoke to AIT yesterday with face hidden. When confronted for inquires, you need to see the guilt on the face of the police commissioner. He denied as usual.
And we all know that the men of the Anti Robbery Squad are mostly made up of Hausas, Yorubas and Middle Belt. Please these people should leave us alone o...they have killed our brothers in the North and are envying our success in the West and now they have come down to Anambra to kill us. Na wah o!!

braine: I don't like anything on Facebook. Someone will just upload a ridiculous picture and say "click like and see what happens", then you see thousands of likes; and I'm like, are these people so retar.ded?
That's the game plan. Get more likes and then sell the page. Nothing actally happens when u click the like button. People who fall for that are so guillible
Computers › Re: The New Facebook Scam Revealed And Exposed! by Decryptor(op): 7:18am On Jan 26, 2013
So in summary, all these stories we see on facebook today where one is told to "comment and hit the like button" or where you read an out-of-this-world miraculos event about a baby that came back to life after being in the mortuary for 1 week and you are told to say "Amen" as a comment is meant to get thousands of likes and comments and after that, the page is sold to a brand or product who will convert and customise the page to their company page. For example, when page hits like 100,000 likes, a company that perhaps sells condoms will buy it from the author for about $200 or more and change it from the author's chosen name to ABC condoms where "ABC" is the name of that company. By then, they'll gain that popularity on facebook and it will in turn boost their profits and sales. And it will have ur names written on it as a page you liked So when next you are told to hit the "like" button on a story of an outrageous miracle, THINK TWICE!

Facebook users who've clicked viral links such as 'Click This if You Hate Cancer' could be in for a nasty surprise.
The links - and others such as 'click this picture and see what happens' do nothing except make cyber-scammers rich.
Once the pages have collected huge numbers of 'Likes', they are then sold, for cash, to other businesses who use them to make their page appear popular.
A blog post by Daylan Pearce, a search-engine expert at Next Digital in Melbourne, explains how the nonsense posts scam works - and shows how the pages are sold on.

The posts - images with captions such as 'Like if you can see the tiger,' or 'Comment and see what happens' are used to build 'Likes' and 'Comments' for pages.
Once a page has collected thousands of likesand comments, it will appear higher in people's News Feeds on Facebook - 'Likes' are the 'currency' of the site, as it were.

Pages with 100,000 likes can be sold for $200, according to adverts unearthed by Pearce.
Pearce explains in a blog post , 'The Facebook Like algorithm is Facebook’s way of dictating if content is of any value to users. The more likes/shares/comments it gets, the more exposure to certain people it,and the profile it belongs to, will get both short term and long term

'All these metrics contribute to a users ‘edgerank’ – the score your profile is given that dictates how your page interacts with other profiles on Facebook. '
'Within 3 days a post like this one has 70,000 likes, and someone somewhere is about to make a nice little profit by selling the page to a business wanting some quick wins. The buyer then changes the page details.Instant fanpage with a big following, lots of likes and an in depth edge rank.
David Emm, senior security research at Kaspersky Lab, says, 'Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter are increasingly becoming targets for cybercriminals.

'The main reason for this is the trust that people feel whilst socialising with their friends online. People are much more likely to click on a link shared by a friend, and this inherent trust is something cybercriminals prey upon.'
'Over the past 10 years, we’ve seen incredible growth in the amount of personalinformation people will voluntarily share, and cybercriminals have naturally ‘followed the money’ by creating scams specifically targeting social networks.'

manny4life: Anambra has been attracting negative publicity lately, like seriously, what's going on? What is Gov. Obi doing? I understand he can't perform magic with a wand, but damn.. I hope this thread wouldn't not degenerate into a fighting ground. E ji'm chineke na yo unu...
That's because it's the most hated state for now and i think it has to do with the fact that we hit OIL! I guess that the search for latest ritual killing, armed roberries in anabra did not yield latest results so now they have decided to use the state of public schools as a target. THe next thread about Anambra may be something like "Nurses wear dirty uniforms in Anambra", "Pure water factories in Anambra mix water with kerosene ", "Why can't one find a good-looking girl in Anambra?" or even "Scientists trace the origin and ancestry of Adolf Hitler to Anambra" Haterz, keep on hating while we keep progressing.

Thank you mods for hiding some posts here. I can bet anything that those posts have everything to do with bigotry and tribal remarks from the "usual" people. Please make them more irrelevant so that by the time they and other members of NL check their profiles and see a lot of "This post has been hidden", it will show how low their minds are. Good job mods
