Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu says Intersociety’s latest report is an attempt to incite the public against the Army.

“Civil rights groups, International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, otherwise known as InterSociety, has an antecedent of making unverifiable claims, aimed at supporting the activities of terrorist groups in Southern part of Nigeria.”

The spokesman called the allegation that in 14 months, troops burned “100 Igbo communities, attacked not less than 1000 dwelling houses belonging to unarmed civilians and destroyed property valued at N40billion” as lies without evidence.

“The report also alleged that security operatives killed 1150 innocent and defenceless ndigbos within the said period.

The Army insists it is a “cherished national institution” that is fighting at different fronts for the sovereignty and unity of Nigeria and would not permit IPOB “dissidents and their cohorts” to undermine national security.

Nwachukwu said the NA conducts its operations in line with global best practices and does not involve in extra-judicial killings and abuse of fundamental human rights.

Brigadier General Oñyema Nwachukwu: If it is true that soldiers have invaded the homes of innocent civilians and killed them extra-judicially, you and your family members will die horrible and dispeakable deaths one by one by the grace of God.

But I know it is true because I watched the videos of soldiers going into the homes of civilians and tagging residents as IPOB members.

For those who are bringing unrest in Igbo land be it IPOB or Fulani disguised as Unknown Gun Men, may they meet their Waterloo and be terminated and sent to hell.

My friend came to visit last Sunday and met my cousin brother who came visiting, she asked who he was and I told her then I noticed she steal glances at him at intervals and not fully interested in our discussion.

Ever since then she has sort of made our house her second home and I don't need to be told that she's very interested in him.

Whenever she comes around and we are discussing, she will just be nodding and contributing with few words while her main work is to be stealing glances at him and this has made me so angry that each time she calls that she's coming I'll tell her I'm not home but she will still come.

Yesterday when she called to inform me that she was coming which I told her I was not home and I will branch her place when I'm returning. I knew she will come, so I went to hide in my room, and behold when I came out, I met her and my cousin having some conversation and I'm sure she initiated it. I didn't even give her face as I was so annoyed as to why a lady will present herself so cheap for a man she barely knows.

Now I want to fully stop her from coming to our house but I don't know where to pick on her because she's a nice person aside this cheap silly attitude she's displaying. How do I go about it?

Ogbeni, yorubas are the most tribal ethnic group in the whole wide world.

Igbos are liberal. You will come to a church in the East and you will hear them sing some Yoruba praise worship songs but you can never hear yorubas sing an Igbo song in their church! The term "aso ebi" is from the South west but Igbos still gladly use it in their weddings...tell me any Igbo practice whether in word or phrase that yorubas indulge in... ABSOLUTELY NONE!!

Go to the East and see Igbos wearing Iro and Buba with even some of the men wearing the Yoruba traditional attire with the cap and others wearing Babanriga which is known in the northern Nigeria but I am yet to see a yoruba man wear Ishi Agu with the red cap or your women wear our female regalia with beads.

Even in Abuja where I currently live, I normally see sign boards of churches like "ECWA YORUBA" but I have never seen anything like "Anglican Igbo"... You people even bring tribalism inside church!! Tufiakwa!!

I don't put tribalism and Yoruba in the same sentence but classify TRIBALISM AND YORUBA TO HAVE THE SAME MEANING!
