Based on special request by Chief DEMDEM, I wish to reproduce these remarkable achievements of Jonathan in one year. dedeike: Achievements |
Demdem: very escapist as usual. You wrote an epistle about the absence of a fellow Nairalander by 9.30 am in the morning when your mates have gone about their legitimate businesses.Tell me how can you convince any body that you are not paid to do this? How is BEAF's whereabout a topic that will deserve that level of attention by that time of the day? It shows that when others are at work pursuing their trade or proffession, you resume in Nairaland to do the work of your paymasters. So pathetic. Secondly, I'm happy that you have asked us to go back to facts and issues so I will reproduce my earlier issues based post accordingly. |
ifeci: fool! becos u r paid to post doesn't mean every other person have sold their conscience! if there is any 1 on a hatchet job that i knw, it is u & ur fellow dogs if you noticed, I usually comment in the afternoon and evenings when I'm less busy. But every Nairalander will bear me witness that you and your chief paid hirelings GBAWE and DEMDEM are on Nairaland for 24 hours. It takes a paid jobless agent to score this feat. This afternoon, I retired from work around 1.30 pm and visited Nairaland. I was shocked to see that your boss DEMDEM was busy gossiping about BEAF. I checked the timing of his posts. They were as early as 9.30 am. I knew I was dealing with some paid hirelings . It takes a paid agent to be active on Nairaland at that hour of the day. It's so shameful. Why must you guys sacrifice your conscience on the altar of filthy lucre? |
ifeci: Plsss! we r tired of reading ur long epistles! we want to see it happen...tell ur inept master to do his workI strive very hard to summarise GEJ's achievement in those epistles. It's so much that it will need a volume of books to capture. |
Demdem: can someone kindly inform the minister that NDDC projects are being sold to the highest bidder even here on nairaland and thats why the bulk of the projects being executed by them is sub-standard. I know a lot. Money going down the drain again. U all search and find the most recent onesSo you even acknowledge that there are such contracts? Lovely. I thought you and your mole said they are paper projects. But now you have done a sommersault to admit the projects are really awarded but "sold". Thank you so much for letting the truth out. I quite appreciate. Gradually, you continue to betray that you are on Nairaland for a hatchet job. |
ifeci: I dont need to read your foolish write ups to know that your masters Government is so weak! if he is really working as u claim, then u don't need to write epistles to convince us and point out how wot u wrote before is so different from wot u wrote now unless we r tlking about paper achievements. All these ur cheap campaigns will amount to nothing.Typical GBAWE's mole. They always have a phobia for information and knowledge. ![]() |
Please forgive me. I forgot to add this. I'm so sorry. The Federal Government has approved 44 infrastructural projects to be executed by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to ameliorate the dearth of roads, bridges and other facilities needed to improve the living conditions of people in the Niger Delta region. It also approved the sum of N3.5 billion to cater for the inclusion of military retirees in the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), in addition to the approval of N13.3 billion for awarding of contract for the provision of infrastructure in the Phase II development of Mbora district, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, in company of the Ministers of State for FCT and Defence, Olajumoke Akinjide and Mrs Olusola Obada, briefed State House correspondents on the outcome of yesterday’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Goodluck Jonathan. According to Maku, FEC deliberated extensively on the Niger Delta Master Plan and approved the projects at this time of the year to help the NDDC expedite action on the construction of roads, bridges and upgrading of infrastructural projects that would help reduce the impact of environmental degradation in the region. The minister did not however mention how much the 44 projects which will be located in Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Edo, Imo and Ondo will cost. He, nonetheless, stated that other infrastructure that would receive attention include provision of water, agriculture and health. Also, the Minister of State for Defence, Obada, said although the government had since introduced the NHIS, military retirees were not beneficiaries, a situation which put them in precarious condition after decades of selfless service to the nation. Observing that such retirees are statutorily covered to benefit from medical attention, Obada explained that one of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of her ministry is to look after the health of the officers and men serving the nation “in order to boost their morale.” The scheme will cover the retirees, one spouse and two children below the age of eighteen. She said council approved the sum of N3.5 billion for the first year to take care of “75,000 retirees whose biometric data has been captured during an evaluation exercise conducted by the ministry,” expressing hope that this will “further motivate the officers and men.” On her part, the Minister of State for the FCT, Akinjide, said the Mbora district project which will gulp N13.3 billion and is expected to be completed in 36 months, “will enable the people to build their houses and provide employment for many.” Akinjide said the project which will focus on the provision of local roads, access roads, water, power and other infrastructure is aimed at decongesting the FCT and enhance the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the ministry. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/fg-approves-44-projects-for-niger-delta-region/124851/ |
ifeci: Mumu, u copy&paste the same epistle from January to December no changes, shame no dey even catch u? d piece is not for olodo's like you. Those who follow it know they are always reviewed to take cognizance of new developments. They know that there are so many new projects included in the new update. The inauguration of the SWF, SUBSIDY PAYMENTS & verifications with marketers, the NEXIM loan for building of 4 airports in Enugu, PH, KANO, ABIUJA was just yesterday. The reaward for ABUJA-Lokoja and EAST-WEST roads under SURE P were announced after last Week's FEC. You lack the intellectual capacity to spot the differences so I'm content with you just quoting it. That way, you just publicise it for more intellectually minded to read and digest. I'm grateful ![]() |
ifeci: Why must this Guy show his foolishness every time, on every thread. Please just help me spread the "foolishness" by quoting it. It gives me great joy ![]() |
Achievements Any impeachment threat or move will fly away in the face of these remarkable achievements in one year. In Finance, For the first time, our recurrent expenditure profile was cut down by 12% thereby increasing funds available for capital projects. Tight fiscal policies and due verification before release of funds for budget implementation. The creation and inauguration of the Soverign Wealth Fund for a three phased development. Bio metric evaluation of MDA'S which has exposed massive corruption in police pensions and subsequent prosecution of the suspects by EFCC. The restoration of transperancy and due verification for subsidy claims to oil marketers by NOI. Introduction of the new integrated online payment system which helps the minister monitor transfer of public funds across MDA's. Our foreign reserves have risen again to a tremendous high of 41 billion dollars. In Energy, a lot of reforms. The president is keen on transparency and thus has set up probes into the sector viz KPMG AUDIT and AIG IMOUKHEDE. The president sought to close the window of corruption by removing subsidy but the cabal misled Labour into a protest. That notwithstanding, the reforms are still ongoing and the full deregulation of the downstream sector being vigorously pursued. In one year, the FG had concluded the PIB which remains a landmark legislation that will revolutionarize the petroleum industry and increase the stake of oil host communities in the management of their oil. Refineries are undergoing repairs and an American company, VULCAN is to build six more new refineries. For the first time in this country, a govt has engaged the oil cabal in an anti graft war. We have seen EFCC take subsidy suspects to court. No one is spared. Even the sons of PDP leaders are undergoing prosecution in court for subsidy loot In roads, Zaria-Funtua-Gusau roads, Oshodi-Apapa with expansion and drainage works, dedicated bridge frm liverpool roundabout to Tin can ports, trailer park, re award for reconstruction of ENUGU-Onitsha, completion of OWERRI -Onitsha, 9th mile, ongoing reconstruction of Benin-Ore-Sagamu highway measuring over 26km, Kano-Maidugri Dualisation. Keffi -Akwanga-Lafia, Auchi-Okene being handled by Setraco. Loko-Eweta-Karishi bridge, Kolo-Nembe -Brass to mention but a few. Just last week, govt announced the re award of abandoned Abuja-Lokoja highway and the East-West road under SURE P. In Transport, massive reforms at the ports. Sanitisation and reduction of operating agencies to 7. Introduction of 24 hrs ports operation. Ongoing Construction of light gauge train railways. rehabilitation of Minna-Kaduna line. Award for reconstruction of Lagos-Kano railine to Chinese giants CCCEC. Abuja intercity railway's too. In Aviation, massive reconstruction of major airports in the land, Enugu airport is undergoing total rehabilitation. The domestic wing of Abuja airport is also being reconstructed with expansion of roads and car parks. Same fr the international wing and the kano airports. 11 terminals are also being remodelled and rehabilitated. Just this week, the govt secured a loan facility for the construction of new airport terminals for four major cities viz, Abuja, Kano, Enugu, Port harcourt. In Education, establishment of 9 new federal universities in less than 1 year. Constructed 2 new campuses of the Nigerian law schools in Yenagoa and Yola respectively. Launched the Almajiri schools for education of itenerant Islamic pupils in the north wFhich Buhari and other northern leaders abandoned. Increased funding to almost 400 billion to education thereby setting an all time highest record. Reinvigorated the inspectorate oversight of schools leading to the revocation of some licenses from universities. Executed the landmark upgrade of university lecturers retirement age from 65 to 70. In agriculture, for the first time in our history, we have a clearly defined agricultural policy which is targeted towards maximum utilisation of cassava for growth thru the launch of the cassava bread campaign. The policy is intended to reduce our reliance on imported wheat so as to encourage local production of cassava and it's conversion to flour for bakery. The FG has in less than one year eliminated the middlemen cartel that fed fat on fertiliser distribution at the expense of local farmers. Now through deregulation reforms, fertiliser is now accessible in the open market. he has also embarked on massive construction of silos and has increased import duties on the importation of rice in order to encourage local farmers. The efforts of the minister has been so appreciable that the world bank assisted with over 50 billion Naira for fertiliser redistribution scheme/ silos. The CBN has also set up a 500 billion loan scheme which is to assist farmers. In power, the NIPP has been revived with the subsequent refurbishment of Afam, Alaoji, Calabar, GEREGU, Omotosho, Ihvbour, Egbema, power plants. This has led to the all time generation record of 4,477megawatts. To address the problem of distribution, the 18 successor companies have been slated for privatization. The media is already awash with news of the proposed privatization. The reforms include the review of tariffs in order to ensure a cost reflective tariff that will encourage private sector participation in the building of gas plants. Already, this has started yielding dividends as SPDC has commenced processes towards building a gas plant in IMO state. The best Petroluem minister ever, Diezani Allison Madueke, has responded to the emergency need for gas supply to the power stations by completing several gas projects and pipelines to evacuate gas to the NIPP's. She has successfully completed the 27kmX24inch permanent gas supply pipeline from Itoki to Olorunshogo via Ewekoro, all in Ogun State; the 56kmX24inch Escravos-Warri gas pipeline - doubling the pipeline capacity and enhancing gas evacuation from Escravos, as well as the 130kmX36inch Oben to Geregu pipeline. The grand effect is the significant improvement of power nationwide. |
Talk about building castles on air and expecting it to stand. This news would only excite the likes of Old Gbawe and DEMDEM who have been hired by defeated presidential candidates to m.asturbate on Nairaland about an illusionsry impeachment or change of power. Nothing could be more deluding. If those gloating over this court decision should come back by this time next week and gloat again about GEJ's impeachment, then I will publicly endorse them. It is expected that the house will resume plenary next week. Let's wait and see. But before then, permit me to press rewind over the outstanding achievements of Jonathan in one year. |
Gbawe: classical evidence of joblessness. It is obvious that somebody who is gainfully employed will not sit down to write this gossip about BEAF by 9.30 am. Please grow up. Age is no longer on your side. I appreciate that your means of livelihood depends on how much blackmail you spin on Nairaland but when you are reduced to joining issues about the whereabouts of another man, who probably is on his legitimate business elsewhere, you lower your reputation in the estimation of right thinking members of this forum and reinforce the consensus that BEAF IS A NAIRALAND LEGEND |
The fresh air keeps attracting investors. SIEMENS, GENERAL ELECTRIC, VULCAN ENERGY RESOURCES, etc. No wonder the chairman of MAN remarked that 250 factories have come to be established in the last one year. |
As usual, weak minds discuss people while great minds like Beaf discuss issues.BEAF, I hail you. Even old fools like Gbawe and DEMDEM are so jobless that they have dedicated a whole thread to gossip about you |
I thought the successful bidders for the technical evaluation of distribution companies would emerge today. That is where our attention should be redirected to and not this distraction by an ailing electric body which is undergoing privatisation. |
This government is on performance enhancing drug. The rate at which projects are going on in every sector is very alarming . Just at a time when you feel they have disclosed all they have in offer, they just come up with new projects. The transformation agenda is really on a hyper mode. One week, one dossier of contracts and projects. Last week, it was a plethora of projects ranging from so many highways slated for funding under SURE P to Eleven terminals and airports undergoing remodelling and reconstruction across Nigeria. Same week, Govt launched the YOUWIN 2 for another round of employment for women. Same week, Minna-Kaduna trains were back on the track transporting people. Same week, contracts were awarded for the construction of East West and Abuja-Lokoja roads. Penultimate week, new Onitsha sea ports were commissioned and oil refinery in Anambra. Same week, govt had offset outstanding and genuine subsidy claims to oil markerters and trader companies. Same week, the ministry of information announced plans to undertake a good governance tour to meet the people and showcase ongoing projects. same week, the SWF board was finally inaugurated with distinguished technocrats at the helm to champion development on a three phase basis. This week, it is still projects galore. Our Foriegn reserves has hit a remarkable 41 billion dollars. Our oil production has peaked 2.7 Mbpd. The government has secured a strategic loan deal with nexim bank for financing of three critical developmental projects viz Abuja railway, New airports, national Internet/ communication backbone. Etc Now this. A significant 44 infrastructural projects in the much neglected Niger Delta region. The air can only get fresher. |
thelastPope: Bros, I tire for naija o:! You dey see how people are heartless and callous. Even if she is sick, how is.not announcing her sickness a crime or is it an impeachable offense again? This people are just callous and fetish. I don't understand how people reason like animals. Help me ask them what truth they want to hear. Is it not a witch or wizard that goes around expecting someones death. Wheb Abati came and said she was resting, they started to insult him. Tell me, even if Abati was lying, what is their own inside. So they want Abati to tell them she is dead before their mind will rest abi? Is that a normal way people reason? Please don't disturb yourself over these winches. They are vampires on the prowl seeking for who to devour. Their anger is that all the background voodoo and witchunting against the first lady is not working. They betrayed their sinister motives when SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES reported on monday death rumours about the first lady. Like bees, they swarm on Nairaland celebrating the rumours but was shocked to hear that the first lady is still alive. Joblessness and jealousy can reduce people to winches. What business has any sane and gainfully employed person with the first lady's whereabouts? She is just a spouse to the president. Not the president. She is also not a Minister. Her absence will not affect or delay the movement of a single file in the FG. So why the hair splitting and pant tearing? |
Mkpotu: Beer parlour speculation. I know for Anambra, the aviation minister is not contesting, Nnaji from Enugu isn't though he is no longer there. Prof Onwuliri, the Minister of State Foreign Affairs from Imo State will not though she was former running mate to Ohakim. May be Health Minister & Labour & Productivity may have such interest because their Governors are in their last terms besides they are male (for now woman never win Guber election in Nigeria)Seconded |
cdamsel: Shey stella oduah talk say na 4m BASA fund & royalities paid 4m airlines dem won use do renovation & build those new terminals, dat dey re nt borrowing.wat does she need 500 million 4 again now?na free moni b dat na.& dey say jona no b reterdeen...........wat is all dis madness na.fashola/oshomole/akpabio nigeria needs u,cos 2 me dey re d only governors we have in nigeria, mayb rochas 2.The Fashola you talk of governs a state that is the most indebted in Nigeria. Lagos state tops the list of indebted states in Nigeria with a total Foriegn debt profile of five hundred million dollars. If in doubt, review this link.http://www.punchng.com/news/lagos-kaduna-criver-ogun-oyo-top-foreign-debtors-list/ Secondly, America's debt profile rose drastically under Obama to 16 trillion dollars.http://money.cnn.com/2012/09/05/news/economy/federal-debt/?iphoneemail What I'm driving at is that it is not wrong to borrow to finance certain critical projects. Provided that the projects for which the facility is granted is duly executed, then it is in order. A critical X-ray of the terms of the loan shows that it is almost like a grant. No real objective mind would have a problem with this loan. |
Thanks a lot. I like this. |
This is not news. It could have been news if Agunloye said Salami was not part of the process that gave birth to Akeredolu. ACN is just an affiliation of mafians masquerading as progressives. There exist overwhelming evidence in support of Salami's affiliation with Tinubu. Even the NJC established this much. The MTN call log evidence is everywhere. Salami is just an ACN chieftain. He should just come out in the open and wield his own broom. |
SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES. After putting the whole social media in a round of hot rumours over the death of Patience Jonathan, they have realized the futility of this blackmail venture and decided to do a sommersault to say she is now alive. Very shameful. Look at how desperation is stripping people of their God given conscience. Because you have an axe to grind with the president over his unwavering resolve to transform Nigeria, you now engage online liars to concort negative stories against the Wife. This same SAHARA SHOPRITE of lies said the president's wife caused Dana Crash because she blocked the airspace for landing. This same SAHARA SHOPRITE of lies told us that the president's wife suffered appendix rupture and every discerning mind on Nairaland wondered how a rupture of appendix would have survived a 6 hours flight to Germany. Gradually, it's turning out more to be fibriod surgery. This same SHARA SHOPRITE of lies posted midnight that the president had cancelled his trip and their "SOURCE" briefed them of the rumours in Aso Rock over the president's wife death. This same SAHARA SHOPRITE of lies have done a U Turn in less than 3 hours to change the story to President's wife s alive. Now can any objective mind tell me why we should ever take SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES seriously again? All through the night, the likes of DAYOKANU and OLD GBAWE were awake like WINCHES and were gloating over the rumours of Madam Patience from their new CNN-SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES. Somebody should go and tell them that their darling CNN has made a volte face to say our first lady is Alive. Somebody should also take them on tutorials on the distinction between a serving president and a first lady. Such tutorials will help them understand that while YarAdua's whereabouts is of the essence, Patience Jonathan's whereabouts is inconsequential. There is no semblance whatsoever. |
Another poorly packaged blackmail. First, it must be put on record that the president never sought to withdraw subsidy in order to make people sacrifice their travels and suffer hardship. Subsidy withdrawal was done in the overall and ultimate interest of the masses. It was a gateway policy for deregulation of the downstream sector which all stakeholders and critics alike agree holds the key to the growth and development of the energy sector. It is the strategy of government that when subsidy is removed, importation will become less attractive, those issued licenses can now proceed to run private refineries with the hope of making profit in an open market where forces of demand and supply(not govt or labour) determines prices. When private refineries come on stream, importation will end and we will pay less than 50 Naira as pump price because it's produced locally and there will be competition. The common man will be king due to competition by refineries. There will also be massive employment opportunities for the common man in the refineries. Secondly, the president does not travel for fun as the OP mischievously sought to insinuate. he always goes on invitation for official duties which are also shown on National TV. Some are for diplomatic relations, others are for business just like the Bradilan Earth summit where he was able to attract Brasillian Electric giants-Electrobus to come and participate in our power reforms. His recent visit to Malawi stems from the zeal of the Malawian leader to borrow the casssava revolution agenda which some critics in Nigeria always seek to mock but which holds exciting prospects of economic development of our country. You call him Clueless but other heads of state now come to borrow his agricultural policies. Thirdly, you either acted in ignorance or you deliberately chose to mislead the public by your jokes about BENIN-Ore-Sagamu road. For your information, that expressway measuring over 256 km has been awarded by Joathan to Reynolds construction co. Work was Ongoing on phase 1 with the phase 2 slated for funding under the SURE P. It will be recalled that this major highway was abandoned by previous govts but has just been singled out by GEJ for construction under one year in office. |
salaksmana: SourceNote. the road in question is a state road not federal. The federal road connecting Oturkpo to Anyangba in Kogi is in a good condition. It is also interesting to note that she was on her way to commission water projects executed by her ministry. So for those who feel nothing is happening, that part of the news should be considered too. |
profola2be: YAR'ADUA'S DEATH WAS REVEAL SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER HE DIED.Are you the one who confirmed him dead? |
kingoflag: Beaf, abeg shut the hell up! Same crap you spill on SR you want to come here and vomit again. When Yar'Adua passed away did your oga know? Wasn't he busy doing dishes and running whatever errands Turai sent him on? So what are you trying to tell us now? While nobody in their right minds will wish Patience death, truth is I'll believe SR over you and any other member of the laptop gang anyday. So, abeg, shift with your useless tales.El Rufai, you shamelessly lied that Sahara SHOPRITE of lies broke the news of Yar Adua's death. It is not true. I recall vividly that Sahara SHOPRITE of lies was at the vanguard of broadcasting fake deaths about Yar ADUA. None was true. The day Yaradua eventually died, the news was broken simultaneously by all media stations.. It was not a subject of rumour like your SHOPRITE of lies was peddling for months before that day. BUNCH OF LIARS |
SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES. Nobody tells them anything. They just speculate and spread the rumours. Where they not the ones who said their "source" told them Patience Jonathan had ruptured appendix? Gradually, it's turning to out to be fibroid. I wonder why people still take this online media newspapers seriously. They have misled a lot of people on NAIRALAND severally. There's nothing like rumours of death. If theres any such thing(God Forbid), you can't hide it. Even Foriegn media will report it instantly. The first lady has security personnel and associates who accompanied her to the trip. Those ones can't hide it. They would have called their close confidants and thier bosses in Nigeria to say it. The president himself cannot hide the shock of such a bad news. Let's get real here. Madam patience, the wife of our transformation leader and emerging best president in Nigeria's history is still very much alive. |
SANUSI is so on point. If Obj knows that higher denominations is inflationary then he ought to come and explain to Nigerians why he deliberately imposed inflation on us during his tenure. |
Quite true. I believe you GEJ. |
he has GCFR already. It is just to add P to it. The P signifies power. So when he finally completes the power reforms, we will surely confer on him GCFRP. |
I believe you mr President. Nigeria will work under you. The signs are so visible. Everything is just happening so fast. You have improved power through your reforms and we hope to consolidate further following the successful completion of the privatisation process. The hypocrisy of your critics were exposed on the front page of THISDAY Friday 7 th 2012. They come in public to accuse you of being clueless but go behind to bid for the same power plants that you have refurbished for privatisation. You keep remodeling our airports and have done 11 of them with additional new 11 slated for construction. You are rehabilitating our railways and have awarded the construction of phase 2 of Lagos-Kano. Abandoned road projects like BENINI-Ore, Abuja-Lokoja, Kano-Maidugri, Onitsha -Enugu have been re awarded under SURE P. You just commissioned a new port in Onitsha and sanitized the old ports in Lagos. You have set up 9 new universities and launched the Almajiri school projects. You are carrying out groundbreaking reforms in the energy sector, exposing and prosecuting corrupt oil thieves, and set to revolutionaries the entire oil industry with PIB |
Impressive. This is the reason why power has improved tremendously. It takes guts and strong determination by the president to undertake these NIPP projects which were abandoned for years without any alternative plans on power generation. This is transformation at work. It is also remarkable that the problem of inadequacy of gas is been resolved through the emergency agreement with Ministry of Petroluem. I commend Diezani Alison Madueke for responding to this emergency by completing several gas projects and pipelines to evacuate gas to the NIPP's. In all, these pipeline projects added 120million cubic feet of gas per day (mmcf/d) to the grid and the permanent elimination of the challenges of low gas pressure that has plagued the Olorunshogo PHCN and NIPP power plants. She has also restored gas supply to GEREGU. Things can only get better under this transformation team |
