I decided to give Nairaland a break when I noticed that it was ab initio designed to serve certain political interests.

Again, I know you have a morbid fear for learning so you wouldn't bother reviewing the link. I have decided to reproduce a comment I made sometime in june in the link to re establish that SAHARA REPORTERS and LIES is a marriage made in heaven. Enjoy it while I'm off.

""
SAHARAREPORTERS ! SAHARA REPORTERS. Once again, Sahara reporters. When this SHOPRITE of lies called Saharareporters told us on Tuesday that Gej went on a Jamboree trip to Brasil with 116 delegates. I came out to warn Nairalanders to receive the news with a bag of salt.

Since 2010, when they sold the falsehood that Patience Jonathan was caught in Dubai airport with billions of dollars I have learnt not to believe Sahara until another reputable media company confirms it. Two days ago, they sent their agents to invade Nairaland in defence of their fake news on the presidents delegates capacity. When that could not fly, they resorted to the cheap antics of posting the pictures of their models in the forum in defence of their never existing integrity.

Just yesterday, they relaunched another attack causing panic all over the federation. SAHARAREPORTERS: BREAKING NEWS: BOMB BLAST AT WUSE 2 ABUJA (XYRISTAL LOUNGE) It was after that they began adjusting the story to align with the reality that a loud slam was heard around crystal and a car damaged. I began to wonder why this media group cannot take steps to verify any news item before jumping to press. But a friend of mine captured it all with a very simple question : Have you ever gone to any public function or media press briefing where someone was addressed as representing Sahara reporters? Your guess is as good as mine." June 2012.

Senior Advocate to SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES,
The level of bias and mediocrity you exhibit on this forum is grossly underestimated. In the face of glaring evidence of falsehood and propaganda by a guerilla online media outfit, you still muster the moral vertebrae to deodorize shit and hold brief for scammers onnNairaland.

It is one thing to post a report in error and it is another to fabricate lies and blackmail after trying in vain to perpetuate a sinister motive. The former is excusable while the latter is a criminal offence upon which prosecution can be instituted.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't have dignified this thread with my response because there is nothing new about SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES and falsehood but I decided to offer a measured response to your lame argument in defence of the indefensible.

As usual, I just went into the archives and randomnly extracted A thread which establishes that SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES has a rich history of lies.

I believe you Mr president. It is remarkable that you have set out to confront the challenges of governance with all humility, sincerity and civility.
I believe in your power reforms and the need to make generation, distribution and transmission private sector driven.
The journey is rough and far but surely we will get there.

You are talking of a Renouned students union activist and distinguished Journalist who fought military dictatorship with his pen. In your dream, you can't come close to his pedigree.

https://www.nairaland.com/1058828/maku-apologises-senate-over-statement
It was a political apology to massage over sized egos. It is obvious in the text of the apology letter. What does he need to apologise for? For saying the truth?
There is no where in our constitution where a resolution is giving the force of law. It's simply persuasive. It cannot be enforced mandatorily.
If they say a resolution is binding, then why has Arunma Otteh not been sacked? Why hasn't Jonathan appeared before the house to talk on security as resolved by the House?
So many resolutions of NASS have been observed in the breach before. David Mark surely knows this, hes just talking carelessly
Politics / Re: Maku Is A Careless Talker - David Mark by dedeike: 12:08pm On Sep 26, 2012
David Mark should shut up and face his duties. What makes Maku a careless talker? Because the man was courageous to say the truth?
This Senate President thinks too big of himself. Why is he furious about something he knows it's true? A senate resolution has no binding effect whatsoever.
Politics / Re: National Good Governance Tour Abuja Town Hall Meeting. Exclusive!!! by dedeike: 3:49am On Sep 26, 2012
Beyond the drama, the town hall meeting was a wonderful platform for interaction between the government and the governed. It brought home the messsage that we are in a democracy where the citizens deserve the right to know how they are governed.

Thanks to the Information Minister, Labaran Maku, Nigerians are beginning to experience new frontiers in the art of information management in a democracy.
Formerly, government used to evolve propaganda and use jingles and branding to force it down our throats via NTA/FRCN. Today, the story has changed.
We don't hear all those good people, great nation mantras again. We are not bombarded with Mamser anthems again. Those propaganda stickers are fading away.

The new minister has evolved several platforms to bridge the communication gap between the people and the Government. I recall that sometime earlier in the year, he organised a ministerial platform session wherein all ministers were called in one by one to give account of their stewardship within one year in office. It equally had members of the public in attendance to ask questions.

The new good governance tour is meant to ascertain the state of govt projects at all levels. It's beautiful that a town hall meeting is attached to it wherein the citizens can come to air their views.

Haters will always be haters. They keep hating while the nation moves forward under Jonathan.
This is a wonderful initiative by the Honourable Mimister of Information to sensitize Nigerians on ongoing projects across the federation. It is like a feedback mechanism of sorts because it will afford the whole team including govt officials the opprtunity to get first hand information about the true state of projects away from the comfort of council chambers in Aso Rock.

This is not about reading the award of projects on paper. It is a reality check intended to make both the contractors, ministers, and State Governors sit up. Performing Ministers and Governors will have something tangible to show while non performing ones will be exposed as there will not be a place to hide.

It is an opportunity for the public to know and ask critical questions about ongoing projects. Fortunately, they have slated a townhall meeting for each state. I challenge everyone including 40 laptop dogs and 50 desktop sheep to attend in their respective states and make their representations.

That way, Nigeria can move forward
Politics / Re: New Pics Of National Media Tour -day 2 by dedeike: 4:56pm On Sep 22, 2012
I still maintain that Jonathan's administration is the most underrated in our history.
We have a president who is touching all sectors in one year.
Everywhere something is happening that draws comments.

His power reforms are visible and generated a lot of participation including that of notable opposition leaders. The successful bidders in the ongoing privatization process of PHCN are companies owned by the likes of Tinubu et al.
Ailing power stations abandoned since OBJ days are back and working.

The railway systems are being revived with ongoing work on Lagos-Kano, Kaduna-Minna, Abuja metropolitan railway.
Major abandoned roads like Benin-Ore, East-West, Abuja-Lokoja, Kano-Maidugri have all been re awarded under SURE P.

The Aviation sector is undergoing massive restructuring with ongoing work on 11 major airports/ terminals. Two weeks back, we got news of a NEXIM loan for construction of 4 major standard airports.

I'm happy for the ongoing media tour. It will showcase most of these projects which we have been putting on Nairaland for long.
I challenge the paid agents of opposition in this forum led by OLD GBAWE to come out and let's debate about these projects.

ubandire: I heard the Abuja Mass Transit rail stuff is being financed through a loan. How true is it?

OGA, the railway was awarded before GEJ came in to office and was abandoned. However, GEJ came in and decided to revive all railway tracks which were abandoned due to paucity of funds.
This was pursuant to the realization of his transformation agenda and campaign promises.
He started by awarding phase 11 of Lagos-Kano railway to Chinese construction giants CCCEC. He also started refurbiishing the Minna-Kaduna line which was successfully test runned last month and aired live on AIT. There is one that runs through Itakpe-Kogi. I have forgotten the exact route.

The Abuja metropolitan railway is one of those undergoing serious refurbishment by this government. It has reached 35% completion stage. FG has paid about 22m dollars to the contractors handling the project. The project is expected to cost 800 million dollars.
Recently, the FG secured a NEXIM bank loan of 500m to finance the project. The facility will go a long way in completing the railway.

If only Senate president David Mark had this in mind in the last legislative session, things would have significantly gotten better than it is presently.

Why this sudden zeal to feel the pulse of the people?
The 2012 appriopriation bill was forwarded to NASS last year November but it took them almost 5 months before passing it in April. Inspite of this delay, the budget was padded with so many recurrent overheads by NASS which the FG frowned at.

It will be recalled that NOI had cut down recurrent expenditure by 18% in the draft bill but NASS singlehandedly reviewed their allowances upwards pushing such reduction to 12%.
The media is awash again with reports of how they want to increase their allowances again by 7 million. Perhaps, this was why they had threatened fire and brimstone over budget implementation. The strategy is, attack the executive so that they will yield in to our demands.

I beg to ask Mr senate President, what was the senate committee on sports doing all the while that they could not discover the sorry state of the Abuja stadium until Jonathan himself paid an unscheduled visit to the complex and noticed it? If the senate truly were up and doing in their oversight functions, they would have been the ones to discover and direct the cleaning up of the stadium not Jonathan.

Let me hope that this is the Senate President's new legislative year resolution. I desire to see a NASS that will be pro active in lawmaking and oversight functions.
It is healthy for democracy.

I was one of those who said that there was nothing logical to show that there was a linkage between currency change and inflation.
I still maintain that position. However, I was quick to point out the introduction does not hold immense benefits that will supersede the controversy and public outcry following it.

Now that president Jonathan has decided to let go in response to the legitimate yearnings of the masses formally represented by thier representatives, he deserves our collective commendation.

That is the beauty of democracy

The publication, launched on Thursday in Addis Ababa, was presented by the Director, Economic Department, NEPAD division of UNECA, Emmanuel Nnadozie. The publication, which is the 11th edition, however, described Nigeria’s economic growth in 2011 as “robust.”

The robust growth recorded in Nigeria’s economy, according to the publication, was driven mainly by the non-oil sector, and in particular, telecommunications, construction, wholesale/retail trade, hotel and restaurant services, manufacturing, and agriculture. (Premium Times)

Idokojimmy: The practical steps taken by SURE-P committee have reinforced people's trust in the Govt. The initial fear that SURE-P was a ploy by Govt to exploit the masses has died down owing to the physical manifestations of SURE P projects. For instance, the FCT Administration recently shared the sum of N1.786b, being funds received from SURE P FOR DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS;the committee also paid the total of N25b to contractors handling various projects at various locations across the country, with Dantataand Sawoe, CCECC, Reynold const. Companies and so on being beneficiaries.; the committee intervened in the rehabilitation of the rail line two years after the Nigeria railway suspended operations on the route and so on. Now women have been captured in the scheme! It can only get better.

Thank you very much. Increasingly, this government keeps dumbfounding critics with performance.
They said severally that the SURE P was a fraud intended to deprive them of their subsidy money. Little did they know that government will come out with evidence of these projects.
Since last week, we have been inundated with several projects on execution through SURE P.

The SURE P accounts for the reconstruction of the abandoned BENIN-ORE-SAGAMU expressway. It accounts for the resumption of work on the abandoned ABUJA-LOKOJA road. It also accounts for the re award of KANO-MAIDUGRI.
It accounts for the remodelling and reconstruction of 6 out of the 11 terminals of our airports.
It accounts for the CCCEC rail projects.
It accounts for the new National Primary Health Care projects on maternal and child health programmes

answer the following questions,

how is the SWF funded?

How was the ECA funded?
Leave the comittee and the managers out of it. Leave the legallity out too,

We are talking about money so tell us the source.

Mention one single power plant jonathan started and have finished from the scratch? Just one?
You can include transmission stations if you like.

Dont dabble into issues you dont understand, the NIPP was initiated and funded in part by OBJ, the plants have come upstrream with various challenges,

jonathan brought the amicable prof who organised the already existing NIPP.

Who takes the glory, the man that thought it out, planned and funded it in part before he left

OR

the man that organised it.

Be the judge yourself, hoping you are an adult

while you think about that, has there been a revolutionary initiative from joboy's administration like the NIPP?

Please mention one.

Obasanjo thought of NIPP, consolidation of banks etc, what is that ground breaking achievement of jona?

Lemme guess, printing textbooks of achievements which includes; surfacing of roads, purchase of coaster buses, paying off millitants, enthronement of cabalocracy

You think im stup!d abi
grin grin foolishness and Stupidity cannot appear in a better form. While I was away, you were on rampage like a mad dog attacking anyone who dared to ask you to offer a feeble rebuttal to the hard facts contained in my post.
Shamelessly, you even confessed to nursing a morbid fear for links and sources. You rather prefer to wallow in the bliss that ignorance offers you. Pathetic.

I understand your frustrations. It's not always easy for an empty mind to be on the receiving end of my posts. You have to cling onto diversionary insults, abuses and rabble rousing to hang on.
I will overcome the temptation to exchange tantrums with you. For your insults, I will offer a measured response with all civility, decency and proof.

First, you jumped out like a bolt out of the blue to denigrate the SWF. You even equated it with ECA. I excused your ignorance and tutored you accordingly on the clear distinctions between the duo. Rather than accept your initial show of ignorance and show remorse, you have been making all manner of U turns and logical sommersaults. The bottom line is that you have an axe to grind with the SWF. Now, I want to supply more links that will help you a undertake a private study of SWF and it's workings.

http://www.businessdayonline.com/NG/index.php/news/76-hot-topic/43555-fg-picks-management-team-for-sovereign-wealth-fund

As usual, you have a phobia for research and knowledge so you won't bother to read them up. Jmaine said it earlier that of if you want to hide anything from a Blackman, you put it in the books.
So the links are not exclusively for you but for those right thinking members of this forum who feel strongly about your inability to supply any tangible evidence in support of your lies.

Secondly, it was the height of illogical reasoning and s.tupidity to even contrive the thoughts that Jonathan should be vilified for reviving NIPP. nothing could be more ridiculous of you. Did you write that stuff? Are you for real? Just tell me you were intoxicated when you wrote that stuff because that is the only grounds upon which that thrash can be excused.

It is not in doubt that Obj started the NIPP projects. It is also not in doubt that he laid the legal framework for the power reforms through the power reforms Act 2005. However, it is a known fact all over Nigeria that the 10 NIPP power stations were abandoned and became bankrupt. Yar ADUA never bothered to continue the reforms and neither made alternative generation plans for the nation. Power fail to its lowest ebb of less than 2000 megawatts. The Elumelu committee revealed massive corruption by Obasanjo in the NIPP. Everything was grounded with some power plants uncompleted.
Jonathan came in and completed the power stations. He also refurbished abandoned ones resulting in the significant generation of 4,477 megawatts.
You begrudge Jonathan for reviving the abandoned power projects? You hate him for completing the uncompleted ones? You prefer he overlooks the NIPP projects upon which over 16 billion dollars have been committed to start up new ones? You want him to abandon the NIPP because it was started and abandoned by OBJ?

Truly, now I know we have WINCHES on Nairaland.
Politics / Re: Jonathan Releases 155-page Book On His Achievements by dedeike: 10:21pm On Sep 17, 2012
I have resolved to abandon the ongoing EPL match to discharge an overwhelming social responsibility to deliver some people from ignorance. This is a sacrifice I have to make in the interest of nation building.

First, JP PHILIPS.
It is surprising how you wasted all that grammar in writing rubbish. We understand that your assignment of discrediting any visible achievement by this govt is enormous but you must strive at least to make a little sense.

First, it was shocking, to say the least, that you could not distinguish between Excess crude account with SWF. Coming from someone who glories in the style of a Nairaland critic, it was embarrassing . FYI, SWF is an enactment of law. Excess crude account is illegal. SWF is a fund with a board for its management. Excess crude is an illegal account where the three tiers share money from. SWF is created for development while Excess crude is created to be shared. SWF is a universally accepted concept while excess crude account is a local fraud.

Secondly, your ignorance was once again on display when you claimed in the second paragraph that the probes and bio metric exercises amounted to nothing.
It's unfortunate that you guys spend more time blackmailing on Nairaland while the rest of the world watch news.

The bio metric exericise exposed the monumental corruption in police pensions upon which the accused persons including a retired perm sec is facing trial in court . See the following link.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/03/n32-8-bn-police-pension-scam-perm-sec-5-others-remanded-in-prison/

Also, the AIG Committee probe exposed the oil thieves including sons of former and present PDP chairmen who are presently standing trial for subsidy fraud. The link is attached as follows:
http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/mobile/news/55392-alleged-n13b-fraud%3A-ali’s%2C-tukur’s-sons-face-trial.html
The historic and all time record trial of oil subsidy suspects is still in progress in court. It is not the duty of patience Jonathan to convict them. Get that into your dumb skull.

Thirdly, you once again chose to peddle pedestrian sentiments on petroleum pricing and subsidy after much tutorials on that subject. . In your low mind, it's still all about the reduction of price to 65 or the increase of it. Typical of the thinking of a spare parts trader in mushin. The withdrawal of subsidy is a gateway policy to deregulation. In a deregulated market, you don't have to speak English on Nairaland for pricing. The market forces of supply and demand dictates price. Private refineries operate only in deregulated markets. Importation will end. Prices will fall far lower than this your beloved 65 naira. There will be competition. There will be employment for millions. Above all, there will be sufficiency of products.

Fourthly, You laboured in vain to discredit the rise of our foreign reserves under Jonathan to a remarkable 41 billion dollars because of the Nexim loan.
But unknown to you, debts and loans play a critical role in economic development. That is why even the united states has a debt profile of over 16 trillion dollars. See the link.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_debt
Lagos state government under the watch of your paymasters ranks as the highest indebted state in Nigeria. See link http://www.punchng.com/news/lagos-kaduna-criver-ogun-oyo-top-foreign-debtors-list/

Fifthly, I was touched and pitied the depths of your ignorance over PIB. Your summary of the bill was a tendentious overkill.
A bill that has being hailed by all stakeholders in the industry as the first legislation to revolutionize the oil industry in Nigeria. FYI, that bill was formulated by the likes of Senator Udo Udoma and Olisa Agbakoba.
It increases to 25% the involvement of NigerDelta people in ownership and management of oil companies in the region.
It unbundles NNPC into 5 or 6 companies.
It abolishes PEF and the corruption that comes with it.
It formulates a right pricing regime for gas and sanctions flaring.
It provides the much needed legal framework for eventual deregulation of the downstream sector.

Finally, you sounded so petty when you tried to strip Jonathan of credit due to him for refurbishing 10 power plants under the NIPP in one year.
This is a project that was kick started by OBJ in 2005 and was abandoned due to allegations of massive corruption. They did not see the light of the day.
In one year, Jonathan has refurbished the 10 power plants abandoned and has started generating an all time record of 4,477 megawatts.
The power plants are now working. And you are not ashamed to come and fool yourself over them.

Question: Point to one of the project that was executed.

. And he's yet being threatened with impeachment for not implementing the budget

The 12% budget cut down on recurrent expenditure was redirected to fund the following capital projects.
Refurbishment of ALAOJI, AFAM, GEREGU, EGBEMA, OLORUNSHOGO, OMOTOSHO, UGHELLI, IHVBOUR, CALABAR GBARAIN power stations
If you don't know, these projects were abandoned and most of them not completed since OBJ's administration.
They were also deployed to remodeling and reconstructing 11 of our major airports nationwide.
Part of the 12% also accounts for increased funding of education and the take off grant for the newly established federal universities.
The money was also used to complete the Owerri-Onitsha highway and Keffi-Lafi-Akwanga

The impeachment threat is a hoarse and reinforces my earlier claims in the assesment that NOI insists on proper verification of budgetary allocations before release. Politicians are not happy with the new fiscal discipline

You are nothing but a dishonest fool and I see why people say you are Beaf. He was always here lying too when, embarrassingly, everyone could see the very obvious truth. Did me or Demdem start this thread? Show that my contribution here was not reactionary after another groupie, like your master Beaf, had mentioned Gbawe idiotically when he did not need to. Do that ASAP. Olodo.

What you write is only true of what Beaf used to do here. He followed me and others around non-stop. Before he disappeared, he had already been reduced to a nervous wreck who only spoke to respond to what others wrote, whereas the old Beaf, like or hate him, had his original thoughts and focus.

In the end, his mind was gone totally to the extent I was even sorry for him but it is Beaf alone responsible for what he became here. He is now recovering in a 'mentalo' home somewhere and you should all be wishing him speedy recovery instead of shouting "Gbawe". That is a big lesson for some of you. Stop coming here to "Beaf" others needlessly. Your fragile minds and egos may not be able to cope with the reaction your cowardly conducts gains.

Grown-azz men running around the forum acting like b.it.ches and groupies of other men. Shameful. It was what your master Beaf was known for even if fools like you want to now present him as some fabled warrior.

What is your own about Dame's itinerary? She is a spouse to the president, not an elected public official.
Her relationship with her doctor is none of our business. If truly she wants to flout her doctor's advice, that's her cup of tea. it's none of your business.
Enough of this trash all the time. I wonder whether SAHARA SHOPRITE OF LIES was in the Doctor's consulting room to know the advice a doctor gave to her.
I wonder how they think a woman who stayed away from public functions for almost 2 weeks now will just jump at such functions against doctors advice.
Even if it's true. She is the one to die or live.
She knows how she feels beyond all these beer parlor gossips and online rumours.
If you guys don't have anything to discuss, I suggest you Join the garri club on Nairaland

I don't know the document you read but I will chronicle my own assessment for you.

In Finance,
For the first time, our recurrent expenditure profile was cut down by 12% thereby increasing funds available for capital projects. Tight fiscal policies and due verification before release of funds for budget implementation. The creation and inauguration of the Soverign Wealth Fund for a three phased development.
Bio metric evaluation of MDA'S  which has exposed massive corruption in police pensions and subsequent prosecution of the suspects by EFCC.  The  restoration of transperancy and due verification for subsidy claims to oil marketers by NOI.  Introduction of the new integrated online payment system which helps the minister monitor transfer of public funds across MDA's.

Our foreign reserves have risen again to a tremendous high of 41 billion dollars.

In Energy, a lot of reforms. The president is keen on transparency and thus has set up probes into the sector viz KPMG AUDIT and AIG IMOUKHEDE. The president sought to close the window of corruption by removing subsidy but the cabal misled Labour into a protest. That notwithstanding, the reforms are still ongoing and the full deregulation of the downstream sector being vigorously pursued.

In one year, the  FG had concluded the PIB which remains a landmark legislation that will revolutionarize the petroleum  industry and increase the stake of oil host communities in the management of their oil.
Refineries are undergoing repairs and an American company, VULCAN is to build six more new refineries.

For the first time in this country, a govt has engaged the oil cabal in an anti graft war. We have seen EFCC take subsidy suspects to court. No one is spared. Even the sons of PDP leaders are undergoing prosecution in court for subsidy loot

In roads, Zaria-Funtua-Gusau roads, Oshodi-Apapa with expansion and drainage works,  dedicated bridge frm liverpool roundabout to Tin can ports, trailer park, re award for reconstruction of ENUGU-Onitsha, completion of OWERRI -Onitsha,    9th mile, ongoing reconstruction of Benin-Ore-Sagamu highway measuring over 26km, Kano-Maidugri Dualisation. Keffi -Akwanga-Lafia,  Auchi-Okene being handled by Setraco. Loko-Eweta-Karishi bridge, Kolo-Nembe -Brass  to mention but a few.

Just last week, govt announced the re award of abandoned Abuja-Lokoja highway and the East-West road under SURE P.

In Transport, massive reforms at the ports. Sanitisation and reduction of operating agencies to 7. Introduction of 24 hrs ports operation. Ongoing Construction of light gauge train railways. rehabilitation of Minna-Kaduna line. Award for reconstruction of Lagos-Kano railine to Chinese giants CCCEC. Abuja intercity railway's too.

In  Aviation, massive reconstruction of major airports in the land, Enugu airport is undergoing total rehabilitation. The domestic wing of Abuja airport is also being reconstructed with expansion of roads and car parks. Same fr the international wing and the kano airports. 11 terminals are also being remodelled and rehabilitated.

Just this week, the govt secured a loan facility for the construction of new airport terminals for four major cities viz, Abuja, Kano, Enugu, Port harcourt.

In Education, establishment of 9 new federal universities in less than 1 year. Constructed 2 new campuses of the Nigerian law schools in Yenagoa and Yola respectively. Launched the Almajiri schools for education of itenerant Islamic pupils in the north wFhich Buhari and other northern leaders abandoned. Increased funding to almost 400 billion to education thereby setting an all time highest record. Reinvigorated the inspectorate oversight of schools leading to the revocation of some licenses from universities. Executed the landmark upgrade of university lecturers retirement age from 65 to 70.

In agriculture, for the first time in our history, we have a clearly defined agricultural policy which is targeted towards maximum utilisation of cassava for growth thru the launch of the cassava bread campaign. The policy is intended to reduce our reliance on imported wheat so as to encourage local production of cassava and it's conversion to flour for bakery. The FG has in less than one year eliminated the middlemen cartel that fed fat on fertiliser distribution at the expense of local farmers. Now through deregulation reforms, fertiliser is now accessible in the open market. he has also embarked on massive construction of silos and has increased import duties on the importation of rice in order to encourage local farmers. The efforts of the minister has been so appreciable that the world bank assisted with over 50 billion Naira for fertiliser redistribution scheme/ silos. The CBN has also set up a 500 billion loan scheme which is to assist farmers.

In power, the NIPP has been revived with the subsequent refurbishment of Afam, Alaoji, Calabar, GEREGU, Omotosho, Ihvbour, Egbema, power plants. This has led to the all time generation record of 4,477megawatts.

To address the problem of distribution,  the 18 successor companies have been slated for privatization.  The media is already awash with news of the proposed privatization. The reforms include the review of tariffs in order to ensure a cost reflective tariff that will encourage private sector participation in the building of gas plants. Already, this has started yielding dividends as SPDC has commenced processes towards building a gas plant in IMO state.

The best Petroluem minister ever, Diezani Allison Madueke, has responded to the  emergency need for gas supply to the power stations by completing several gas projects and pipelines to evacuate gas to the NIPP's.

She has successfully  completed the 27kmX24inch permanent gas supply pipeline from Itoki to Olorunshogo via Ewekoro, all in Ogun State; the 56kmX24inch Escravos-Warri gas pipeline - doubling the pipeline capacity and enhancing gas evacuation from Escravos, as well as the 130kmX36inch Oben to Geregu pipeline.

The grand effect is the significant improvement of power nationwide.

A-ZeD:

Bros tell us what happened to Farouk, the boko haram guy caught in the borno government house lodge, the senator from borno state. As for the bolded part may be you were not updated that the charges have been withdrawn.....
The Boko Haram guy caught in Borno govt house is Kabiru Sokoto. He has been apprehended and is cooling off his heels in SSS detention. The senator was also arrested, charged to court and stayed 1 month in Kuje prisons before he was granted bail but his case remains ongoing at the federal high court.
The last time I checked, the trial of TUKUR and Ali's sons were still ongoing. They were denied access to their traveling visas by the judge.

Like I said before, the anti corruption war is on course. All oil thieves must not go unpunished for all the calamity they have caused our nation.
This govt's anti graft war is no respecter of persons. JONA no dey look face. If you mess up, you answer your papa name.
It started with the indictment of 25 big oil companies and marketers by the AIG committee report. The first of its kind in the Petroluem industry.
The govt went ahead to charge the sons of Bamangar TUKUR and Ahmadu Ali to court.
In addition, there are over 15 men of the oil cabal facing trial.

Now integrated oil has been caught pants down. These are Indeed interesting times for anti corruption activists.
