shegsteperz: Hi All,
Trust you all are good.
Just an important question/knowledge sharing needed please.
10 Years Bank Completed Last year so new Family Visit intend to be submitted next month.
Would the Ban still be taken into consideration ?
Also so i need to complete a Yes to have you been deported or banned in the last 5/10 years question ? As this is over 10 years anyway. You can ask the question on this thread https://www.nairaland.com/5233246/general-uk-visa-enquiries-part/719I think, once you're banned, you must serve the entirety of your ban...and if possible, you can appeal |

Dotman23: Big boss, I am currently practicing as a Cardiac Physiologist in naija, I have have applied via NHS and I have had like 5 MSteams interviews now, but all always come back as unsuccessful, I even applied as a clinical support worker, i was selected but offer was withdrawn at the point of getting COS.
Please is there anything I am not doing right. Hey bro. Sorry about the unsuccessful interviews, it's all part of the experience. I can assure you that as long as you keep getting called up for interviews, you're doing your best. There just may be someone who is equally or more qualified than you that is already in the UK. However, it is advisable to do a self-assessment. Go through your unsuccessful interview applications, is there something you put there e.g Echocardiography, Pacemaker programming, etc., that is false or you could not adequately defend it during the interviews? Do you have a B.Sc in Physiology? Is your profile up-to-date? Are there other skills they requested for but you don't have? How good was your internet connection during the interview? Lastly, how good is your spoken English? If you can tick all these boxes, I can assure you that your "Congratulations, we are pleased to offer you..." email is on the way. Also, if you were applying for Band 6/7 roles before, try applying for Band 5 and let's see how it goes. It's quite easy to move up to Band 6 once you're here. Keep improving yourself, keep applying and NEVER GIVE UP. |

Percaput: Im most grateful.. I'll do just as you have said. Amen Its just BSc Nutrition and Dietetics. Work experience? Internship? You know you have to complete your internship to be a Dietician, and Dieticians are hotcakes too. Just ensure you have a foolproof CV and no one will ever reject you. |

Percaput: Good evening everyone I have Bsc in Nutrition and Dietetics I had applied for Dietetics Assistant jobs with some NHS trust and i landed two virtual interviews earlier last year but on both occasions i got unsuccessful mails from them after which i stopped applying. I read somewhere online that no matter how hard i try, i can't be taken because NHS has to prove to the home office that nobody else can do the job in the UK before i can be issued certificate of sponsorship. Please how true is this and what advice do you give.. Thanks Keep trying, NEVER GIVE UP. I know someone who has done 4 interview without success, whereas I got mine on 1st interview after over 40 applications. You didn't get the job because there's someone more qualified than you. Keep improving yourself and keep improving your CV on Trac jobs. As long as they keep shortlisting you, you're very much qualified. Your Good News is on the way. Don't forget to share your qualifications and work experiences to help others on this thread. |

Dee2016: Does this mean that if I pay for the 5 year Visa to this employer I wont have to pay any other employer the Immigration skills charge for the 5 years? Unless you change jobs, there will be no need to pay another immigration skills charge. If you don't spend up to 5 years with the organisation, you will forfeit the fees paid for the remaining years on your COS. Hopefully, your new job can pay the fees. |

Ladyzain: Hello house please I need your advice. I have children 8&10 and another 3 years old . I got an NHS job planning to apply for Visa. Am concerned, will this children be granted Visa as I intend applying with them while the father apply at a later date due to work here in Nigeria. All your family members will be granted visas as long as their application is connected to yours and there is no pending visa ban. However, most people who have travelled this route, have suggested in the past that you go there first and get settled. Then you can start the process of bringing your family members. |

Dee2016: Is this information correct on immigration skills charges and visa? For a Senior Care worker. For every worker that an organisation is sponsoring, they need to pay a skills charge to get you a COS (GBP 2,019 as in your case), which is quite a lot of money for them. So they are basically saying that, if you can afford to pay the money yourself, in addition to other cost of processing your visa, they can give you the job and process your COS. If not, they are not willing to make such a huge financial commitment to sponsor you to the UK. I hope I'm making sense? |

Healhtyliving: I spoke with the Manager of Kope Medics to inquire about how true is the support with COS after the training. He was very honest that the company has the ability to sponsor people from Nigeria. However, can only sponsor if there is the need. This is because the job has to be provide once they are brought to the uk on soonsorship. By implication, there is limitation to the number of people they can provide COS for. He mentioned over 100 candidates have so far enrolled for the course, but only 10 are in the process of resuming in January and he is not sure of when there will be need for the next batch. Why wait for them to get COS for you when you can go online and apply for jobs yourself? Get your certification, go online and keep applying for jobs until you get ONE. Don't wait to be spoon-fed. |

BabaArmani: @d1504 Tell your friend to go to the nearest Teaching or General Hospital and locate any of the following units: EEG, ECG, Echocardiography, Spirometry or Physiology units. Request to learn at any of the unit (Most are free, some may ask for certain amount of money). Get sufficient experience and proficiency in their chosen field. Look for short courses related to their chosen fields that they can take. Then go online to begin their job search.
Pls i like you to share more light on this, examples of short courses related to the above mentioned fields? will the short courses by aceepted ? There are available courses online and offline that one can take in any of the fields. All they need to do is to search online. I can also be of help in pointing them in the right direction. |
