This is like going to build new airports in Abeokuta and in Badagry while allowing MMA to rot away! They are looking for another 'NTA' to allocate 500 million dollars into. And maybe this time 5 billion dollars! Get it! |
Brother Femi, ah! |
WHY SHOW THESE KIND OF GRAPHIC IMAGES ABOUT PEOPLE? WHAT DO YOU WANT THEIR CHILDREN AND RELATIVES TO TAKE FROM THESE? VERY IRRESPONSIBLE INDEED! TERRIBLE. YOU GIVE CREDENCE TO THOSE WHO WANT TO CURTAIL THE SOCIAL MEDIA. |
Sewgon79:I wonder o. You just imagine how people think! |
We are in Year 2020! |
grandstar:People often forget the hundreds of businesses supported by DSTV. The distributors, trained technicians etc. We think like our brains are underneath our feet! As big as Amazon, Apple and Microsoft etc are, their governments will do a lot to make sure they dont go down. The opposite is the case here. Pull them down syndrome, yet they are claiming new prosperity for 100 million people. What stops other channels from going to bid for exclusive rights? They are making it sound like exclusive right is something illegal. They show total lack of understanding about sports broadcasting or sports management. Same way we have tried to force our policies on NFF only to back down when they realized FIFA was a government by itself! |
They want to lift 100 million out of poverty! Yet, they are also taking steps to kill the cow that produces the milk. What guides our economic thinking? |
Let the good people of God pray for Folake Adebola that she will see the light and be delivered. |
The South is very gullible. The North wins elections long before they take place. OBJ was a sympathy candidate - They wanted someone they can put up with, as a compensation for MKO. GEJ was an accidental candidate. Long before 2023 northerners have taken most of the strategic positions. The ones remaining, like the apex bank, are doing everything to please the north. How would a Southerner get there? Except by divine intervention. Let us pray. |
So, instead of looking for how to reduce the burden you now want to raise the burden to a record USD100 Billion!! This man sha! |
What do you call this? Chasing the ants and ignoring the elephants and mammoths to go untouched! |
Are they from neighbouring countries! |
Permit me to digress to something more important. The quantity of milk you get from your cows depend on the size of your flock - Taxation 101 The new FIRS boss wants to ignore the fact that our economy is not as buoyant as it was during the early Jonathan years - 2011 and 2102. In fact, he wants us to quickly forget that oil prices were up, production was high and companies could pay more. He is sounding like he wants to collect more from less. I hope he does not kill all the remain businesses. There are 2 things that the current administration is bent on doing and that may totally run the country to bankruptcy. First one is raising taxes and the second is to trying to collect huge foreign loans when the prospect of paying back has become so slim (oil is losing its magic!). Let us pray that PMB and his team will re-think. |

FAKE. Concocted by a Ronaldo fan! |
CBN IS SOUNDING SO CONFUSED NOW. IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THE SHOPS INSISTING ON CUSTOMERS PAYING CASH NOW. ONE STEP FORWARD AND SIX YEARS AFTER TEN STEPS BACKWARDS. . PERIOD. |
Exactly, you see a situation where the Chief Judicial Umpire is clamouring for Sharia for the whole country, including the Christian dominated areas - what do you call that? |
RichDad1:RCCG does not operate the way you think, I am afraid. God has His hands upon the church and by God's grace, that remains. There have been people who have left or may have left recently and that does not affect the future of the church. Anyone, me inclusive, can leave any church at any time, but God's work remains. Apapa Family, by the way, unlike so many think, are perceived to be very loyal to RCCG. |
I totally agree with Atiku on this one. Particularly annoying is that the country and the rubber-stamping parliament have not told anybody how the country will pay back! Our main forex earner is OIL and now that the prospects of OIL has never been as low, how will Nigeria be able to payback the loan? Just yesterday it was said that they have budgetted 37 Billion Naira to renovate the National Assembly!!!!!! How much will they build a new one? 40 Billion Dollars? And we still want to borrow? Who did we offend? |
Built2last:They will even declare it inconclusive. Then you have 3000 cases filed up to Supreme court...so that lawyers and j...... will chop theirs. |
youngbang:Your comments are rude, unbecoming and far below the belt. You owe that couple a public apology. Our senators are looking for excuse to gag the social media because of people like you. Repent. |
The stamp duty is a form of tax on bank transactions. Now, even POS transactions are taxed. The nation must demand for full disclosure of how much has been raised so far. How can a country keep borrowing, keep increasing taxes, and still not able to meet very basic re-current needs.? How? Please somebody needs to explain! |
sanusi44z:From Kaltungo in Gombe state. Core North! |
Take it or leave it. In Nigeria, South West, South East and Middle Belt all know how to make noise, but the core North knows what it means to RULE! All the southerners spending money for 2023 are simply day-dreaming. |
Oro ti pesi je! |
Africans have surrendered to self-colonisation as a result of our unbridled appetite for strange foreign products such as human air. I hope that African leaders will unanimously ban this product in all African countries. I hope they have enough courage to do that and not be afraid of what the occupants of the other room will say! |
Skepticus:Where has it happened in Nigeria that officials of state will at gun point invade a court? |
Most South-Easterners living in South West today came in the last 10 years or so and have not taken time to understand Yorubas. They are fond of always citing BAT. If they care to know, BAT, is only smart to develop a party structure that he has managed to dominate. If he is that accepted among Yorubas, Makinde or Akeredolu will not be governors today. And if you care to know, PDP is very weak in Lagos because they never have strong credible candidates. Agbaje, knowing he could not garner enough votes from his kinsmen, started appealing to Easterners in Lagos. The hatred for BAT just grew among the easterners because SW people resisted that move and in defeat the only thing left is for them to label Yorubas as BAT slaves! Something that is far from the truth, and that even BAT knows quite well. South Easterners do not realize that APC has so many members in Lagos who are party faithfuls, and they are strong enough to win elections, even if non-party members refuse to vote! Stop attaching everything Yoruba to BAT! Anyone doing that is ever ignorant of Yoruba culture, their strengths and failings. Is Chief Bode George not a notable Yoruba man? When he was sentenced was there any protest anywhere? Why they always bring BAT into any argument beggars belief! I think some people thought they could take over Lagos through the back door and they are yet to wake up from the defeat that befell them. Why would a state arm of a party be condemning the Judiciary just because one person is being questioned? Is he guilty of what he is accused of? And by the way, if BAT and the people he has sponsored did not develop Lagos, will there be the kind of influx you have into the city today? Call him any name you want, the man is smart enough to fight for his kinsmen and also to promote progressive and developmental policies that even other states are now struggling to copy. For that alone, he will continue to get audience when he speaks. Any other governor, or past governor who has that push for the development of his state will get similar audience. Can you mention their names if there are such governors? If you cant, why always bring BAT into any argument? This story is about Abia, so people should speak about ABia. |
Nobody should loan us money now. We need to carry the message to the lenders that they are on their own if they lend us funds. |
300 Billion extra for exactly what? |
Sin is the root of all problems. I this long mail, you can see lies, corruptly bribing officials, deceit and manipulation. More than ten percent of children moving around belong to another father apart from the ones they call theirs. It is said to be even more than that. A man raised up three children to adulthood only to know afterwards that none of them were biologically his. It is a world of sin and deceit. The biggest deceit of all is for anyone to think that he does not need salvation. Romans 6:23 must be embraced by all: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Accept Jesus into your life today. Just invite him in by confessing your sins and by inviting Him to come into your heart. |
