Rumpelstiltskin:Boy, you try o |
There is Professor Yemi Oshinbajo (SAN) who though highly comfortable would make the sacrifice to enter politics, for the sake of Nigeria. Yet, many people on NL will choose to abuse him. This kind of bills will continue to triumph as long as good men keep silent! We have left our Parliament and Politics to crooks, scoundrels and thugs, and we sit daily moaning at their behaviour. We just saw another drama play out earlier this week. How can anything good come out of that Senate? It will be a miracle. And I believe in them. Yesterday's thieving governors becoming today's lawmakers. Will not be surprised if they reduce the age from 11 to 8! The problem with Nigeria is with Nigerians. And the 'old breed' of politcians know that and they capitalize on it so well.n |
Silly talk. Why should the President and VP sit in the same meetings. That is waste of resources. The VP should be engaged in real work instead of going around with PMB! |
Vintage North. They will fight to keep status quo. The same forces that waylaid GEJ have started again. |
PDP ke. no way! |
PDP scores a vital goal! |
The office of the VP has never been so insulted! So arrogant! Typical northern aristocrat who would always look down on everyone else except fellow aristocrats. Very bad beginning for APC. Saraki as Senate President is a continuation of PDP impunity. That is it! |
THIS IS G7, NOT GHOLLYWOOD! |
So what? |
Good. This may be a session on security in Africa! Looks good at any rate. |
Silly! You dont cook a good stew in 2 minutes. It is not just about acting but acting well. I agree he should have made some appointments, but for crying out loud, his official tenure only started on June 1st. And you dont just push your party aside. This is democracy. If PMB had pushed the party aside, this same writer would be calling him a dicator now. |
Now that the criminals see that PMB is comimg for their jugular, they want to frame him to discredit him. Nigerians are no fools. If you can bomb yourself in the name of the person who is now the first citizen of Nigeria, then there is no word to describe you! |
HE BELONGS TO EVERYBODY AND TO NOBODY. NO EMIR OR SULTAN CAN DICTATE TO PMB/ HE MUST MAKE HIS OWN CHOICES. NIGERIANS, CALM DOWN. APPOINTMENTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY. IT TOOK JONA MORE THAN 5 WEEKS TO NAME HIS CABINET, I HOPE YOU ALL RECOLLECT! |
Change has come to Chief Ubah! |
He is still President until he hands over....He still has to do the work of the state....People should not read meanings to everything! |
Metuh is possibly pretending not to know the difference between President and President-elect, I think! At any rate, when hos boss visited LONDON sometime back, did he even come out of his hotel room? PDP stinks! |
After his dismal performance in the polls? After all the allegations of gross incompetence? That would officially mark the end of PDP. And I am sure many Nigerians will say: good riddance! |
The ward is to NOI and not to GEJ GEJ should be held responsible for what happenned in his government. Yale cannot be bought with money. They must have seen the merits we dont see. We accept the ward for one of our own best. |
If you listen to some comments in NL you would almost give up on Nigeria. Even the current FG cannot deny these facts. Better to face issues and say it the way it is. Some are shouting that Nigeria has become the 'biggest economy'! When NOI came out with the rebasing magic, I knew this would happen and I suspected the politicians would use that to try to confuse Nigerians. GeJ did not grow Nigerias' economy to become the biggest in Africa. He only 'rebased'. He changed the criteria for evaluation. Nothing more. And I think NOI explained that. It is just like someone jumping up that 1USD gave him 160Naira 6 months ago and now he is getting 220 Naira! Would that be a reason to jump up? Has Osinbajo spoken amiss by reminding us that poverty in Nigeria is still very high. OBJ cleared Nigeria's debt burden in his time. Now the burden is back. What have they used the huge debts for? Oil price has been at the highest in Jonathan;s time, what has the windfall been used for? It is like a man who had his monthly salary increased 100 per cent, so that he could save a lot more and also feed his family very well. But instead, he makes no savings, goes out borrowing more and his family, far from living well, is dying in hunger. And still his neigbours are hailing him. For what? Well, GEJ has finished his own term and the onus on the new people is to fix the mess. Let us pray for them and not start the ABUSES and INSULTS again. It is never necessary to ABUSE leaders, whether that leader is GEJ or GMB. |
No wonder the 'world's institutions' are giving awards to Madam for helping to return Nigeria to slavery to the West! |
There are doctors and there are fake doctors! There are engineers and there are fake engineers! There are professors and there are fake professors! There are dollar notes and there are fake dollars notes! A fake doctor is not a doctor! A fake dollar note is not a dollar note! This is elementary stuff! Why call every one in gown pastors? |
Congrats to her. She still has to help Nigeria recover the loot of the recent past, by helping to uncover it. Otherwise, how would she be happy with this kind of honour (for fighting corruption) after being the coordinating minister in a regime alleged to be the most corrupt in Nigeria's history? |
Assembly plant or coupling plant? |
How? Some folks need to look inward and stop blaming others for their political woes. If they did well who will be talking about OBJ or GMB today? Buhari is smart enough! OBJ did his bit. Leave him alone. |
Only in Nigeria, can somebody write such a TRASH! |
abbeycial:Who is watching NTA? Merge it please. |
Lack of education and awareness is truly a disease! |
Praying anywhere, anyhow and in whatever posture you want does not make you a coward! Thank God or this man's bravery! |
tp10:Who wrote the piece? 'The Guardian' or 'The Reuben'? |
How would NOI explain this? What has the debt been used for? What about the oil windfall? Where has it been kept? Why borrow so much in a season of bumper harvest? Suddenly Naira is now sold at 224 to the dollar? What kind of Economics is this? I smell plenty of Wuruwuru here? The government should admit their errors and start ti retrun some of the 'missing' or 'unaccounted for' billions! No light, no diesel, no petrol, no road..... What kinda of wuruwuru is this o? Yet, they claim they have created 4 million jobs in 4 years! |
They still have some money to waste |
I saw this coming.... Let the monies be returned and let FG grant amnesty to all those who taken the money + ban from public office. I bet that more than $40 billion will be recovered. |
