Ultimately Nigeria must win, and Nigeria is winning. Everyone should accept this, for the sake of Nigeria. Chief Orubebe may have been angry, just like anyone else can be, but we need not crucify him. |
That was a show of shame. While Jonathan had gentlemen and good performers in his government, such as Akinwumi, he chose rather to project the very wrong people. Now, Jonathan will be measured by the likes of Fani, Madam Dezzy, Okups, and so who may not really represent what GEJ stands for. Accept defeat in good fate. Jega has not manufactured any results. Most of the states where PDP is complaining have PDP as governors. So, what was the man saying? Even the great Lionel Messi accepted when Ronaldo dethroned him. Chief Godsday, there is a place called tomorrow. Apologize quickly, so that this not not stick on you. |
These are the guys who finished GEJ. Rather than help him succeed, they went about with so much impunity. Now it is time to go and they dont want to. |
Politicians are of a different breed. Why all the initial noise? |
NIGERIA HAS BECOME SO POLARIZED THAN EVER. MAY GOD LEAD US. |
Rivers is one state where massive rigging has been commonplace. The absence of count sheets was reported in many booths, according to reports. The governor may have a right but he should have addressed it properly. INEC should investigate. If truly the resident electoral officers kept away the result sheets, then they should be made to explain why they did so. All of the brouhaha is not necessary if results were counted before everyone and announced at the booths. If APC agents sold their birthrights then there is hardly anything INEC can do! |
bid4rich:What about the other parties? No one should use social media to spread confusion and mayhem. Let INEC release the results. |
Not surprised. Anyway, let everyone keep calm and let all the votes count. Nigeria must be the winner at the end of it, and not anyman or woman. |
What about Madam? |
Some voters will fill their tummy with Jona rice and their pockets with Jonadollars on their way to voting for GMB. Such is life. |
TAN Transformation at work! |
Could these be the aftermath of politicians arming thugs for election? Or the government giving huge contracts and billions to militias? |
Stolen? Did someone really say stealing is not corruption? Why is EFCC worried about stealing? USD20 trillion? Chai! |
More to come. Long and short is that Mimiko is no longer acceptable to the electorate in that place and so the deputy jumps ship. Would all the shared dollars go to waste? We shall see. |
Nigeria needs a president who is business minded and who has not been kneeling down from pillar to post in the name of endorsements. |
I fail to understand why a man who has benefited from everything he has not worked for will suddenly now start to destroy every institution that worked in his favour. It is not only the military that is at the receiving end. Quite a lot of Nigerians cannot understand the hate messages we hear on daily basis in the name of political campaigns. You cannot even imagine the billions of dollars wasted and distributed around in the process. Some of their e-rates are also there on NL to abuse and insult everyone who has a different opinion. Well, we pray for the peace of Nigeria. True change will come, if not today, will come tomorrow. |
How much will the candidates pay to the consultants for CBT? Are people not being coined again? Is someone not just playing on the situation of the poor! Can anyone employed in the last 4 years come to the open to say how he got employed purely on merit? It will be nice to see. I will be glad to have someone prove the sceptics wrong. |
Alaaru to nje buredi, awo ori e lo nje ti komo. |
Where are the Chibok girls? |
Nigerians are the problem with Nigeria. They see silly behaviours and applaud them just because the person behaving is from their home town. Silly. |
A lot of women behave strangely. They ignore the gentleman next door who has been begging them and they fly all the way to Abuja or Lagos to domicile with notorious wife beaters! Strange, but quite common. |
I reserve my comments. |
Please ask PHCN or whoever to give us light o. Or is APC also the ones behind this? |
A man that has not been able to 'islamise' his cook and driver of many years, how will he 'islamise' a country? I am just curious. I am told his cook and driver for several decades are active church going christians....Is that not so? What about the other fellows who have done a lot to try to divide us along the lines of tribe and religion? What about the sponsors of gun-wielding OPC rally that sent trauma to Lagos a few days ago? This US analyst sees no danger in that? What about a first lady who has been spitting venom and spreading hate messages all over the place, even to the extent of using the phrase 'kill them'! This US analyst sees no danger in that. Nigeria demands progress and change, and we pray iot will come peacefully. We do not want any America to come scatter us. Thank God that forecast that originated from US analysts that Nigeria will disintegrate WILL NOT HAPPEN. |
US and AS analysts sometimes do not get it right when it comes to foreign countries. IRAQ is an example. Afghanistan is another. They have got to realize that not all countries are like America! Let Nigeria choose. More than that God's will shall prevail over Nigeria. All we just want is free, transparent and fair elections. |
Dollarized research! |
There are just very few leaders left in any part of Nigeria. What you have are DEALERS. By the way, the concept of leadership by age has long gone. Today leadership is by wisdom, influence, respect and by good example. Only few qualify. It is sacrilegious to refer to the likes of Obanikoro or Mimiko as 'Yoruba leaders' What qualifies them? |
Very very civilized, and very much unlike our other friends who seem to parade and breathe a lot of hooliganism here and there. |
What is wrong in being the son of a laborer? What a great achievement that the son of a laborer rose to become governor of one of Nigeria;s richest states! What is the big do in moving a motion? Is that an achievement? Can the son of the motion mover please speak about his own achievements? |
Thank you. You have done well, madam! Time to go! Take a break with Mama Peace! You both have tried enough. |
How bad can this go? What is she contesting for? This is so absurd! |
The politicians have paid the wrong person. Emeka Ike they will soon start courting you now. Stand clear for conscience sake. |
