CAN YOU LEAVE THIS MAN ALONE? |
Leave this man alone |
Coded message to APC to say I will soon join you! |
Call them DEALERS and not LEADERS. |
afolag:The FG does not need to invest a penny. The FG does not own ships and do not need to. The FG does not own airlines and do not need to. The FG does not even need to own airports or seaports. Why are we thinking like we are in the medieval age? All the FG needs is to create a framework and regulate and earn its royalties and taxes. There are loads of investors and operators waiting to give Nigeria a solid rail system just for one simple reason - Nigerians move around a lot and will pay to do so. They will pay ha;lf of what they use on airlines to travel by fast trains. That is enough for a private investor! |
She is an Amazon. Being a champion of BBOG should not exclude her from national assignments. Think, people! It is sad that some people still think Chibok is a contraption. It is just the same way that some people doubt that 2 added to 2 cannot be equal to 4! |
alsina:I have noticed that when an Igbo person tries to make his people reason then they turn that person to an enemy. They did it to Pat Utomi as well. It is difficult to understand this level of hatred. I am tempted to say that some part of SE population do not like to integrate with any other ethnic group. I am not saying that Igbos are not good. Far from it. They are a great people. But for whatever reason they have a percentage who do not like to integrate with society or other groups. It has to be their way. They have to do the talking. They are still the only group in Nigeria thinking and talking secession. Yet, they do not like to live in their own land! If there is an Igbo country today, many Igbos will still troop out of it to other lands. Yet, this aspect of integration is still suspect. This Igbo Forum should be talking to itself. Igbos should address this issue of integration. Those with hatred should shun it as well. I remain loyal to my Igbo friends. They are a great people, particularly when they do not harbour hatred. And I see some Igbos marry Yorubas these days, which is a good thing. We should have more of that! |
It looks like a subtle way of tactically sacking Arese since Abba would go on May 29 anyway! |
Ekiti's loss may turn around to be Nigeria's gain. I hope the man has learnt his lessons. Be prudent with spending and lend your ears to the people! |
He is working towards 2019 where he hopes to be VP to Orubebe with FFK as Senate President! These may be the only 'correct' people remaining in that party if care is not taken. |
Seek Jesus for salvation and forgiveness of sins. Secondly, go to a doctor to treat you. Life without Christ is a life in crisis. Thanks for asking for advice. This is what I have as advice for you. |
We want to read the one from the OIL MINISTRY! |
angelawoko:THE MOST SENSIBLE THING I HAVE READ ON THIS TOPIC SO FAR. I AM A YORUBA PERSON AND HAVE GREAT IGBO FRIENDS. WE ARE HAPPY TO BE TOGETHER AND WE LOVE EACH OTHER. I HAVE EMPLOYED MANY IGBOS AND I LOVE THEIR TENACITY AND PASSION. I WOULD HOWEVER NOT AGREE WITH THAT ASSERTION THAT LAGOS IS 'NO MAN'S LAND'. THAT IS A TERRIBLE THING TO SAY. WHILE I DO NOT SUPPORT THE OBA, I STILL THINK THAT THE ORIGINATORS OF THAT ASSERTION STARTED IT ALL. GOOD A THING, MANY REASONABLE IGBOS HAVE ATTEMPTED TO MAKE THEIR KINSMEN REASON AND TO TELL THEM THEY HAVE NO REASONS TO TAKE A QUARREL AGAINST YORUBAS. I MUST SAY THAT I FELT A BIT DISAPPOINTED READING FROM CHINAMANDA AND IT SEEMS SHE ALSO TRIED TO RE-WRITE THE SOUTH WEST STORY. ALL TRIBES WILL LIVE AND PLAY TOGETHER IN LAGOS, BUT LET NO ONE TALK ABOUT 'TAKING OVER'. THAT WONT AUGUR WELL. I ALSO THINK THAT IT IS AN INSULT ON YORUBAS FOR ANY GROUP TO HAVE ACCUSED THEM OF TEAMING UP WITH 'NOTHERNERS' TO WIN THE ELECTION FOR BUHARI. FIRST, YORUBAS WILL NEVER TALK ABOUT BLOCK VOTES ON TRIBAL LINES. IF YOU DOUBT THAT, JUST SEE THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTIONS. SECOND, WHY SHOULD YOU BLAME A PERSON FOR HIS OWN CHOICES? THE WINNER TAKES ALL MENTALITY IN NIGERIA NOW MAKES IT LOOK LIKE SW AND NORTH HAVE WON! THE REACTION FROM SE (NOT SO MUCH EVEN FROM SS WHERE GEJ COMES FROM) NOW SEEMS TO HAVE PUT PEPPER ON THE WHOLE THING. WHY NOT PUT THAT BEHIND AND MOVE ON? WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE BENT ON SPREADING HATRED AND DIVISION AS IF THAT WILL PUT FOOD ON YOUR TABLE? THE TRUTH THEN IS, IGBOS NEED TO LOOK AWAY FROM OBA OF LAGOS, AND FIND A WAY TO SPEAK TO THEMSELVES. THAT IS WHAT I THINK. I MAY BE WRONG. I LOVE MY IGBO BROTHERS. I LOVE ONE NIGERIA. WHEN I START TO FEEL, SOME OF MY BROTHERS DO NOT LOVE ME, I AM AT A LOSS ON WHAT TO DO. DEAR SISTER, THANKS AGAIN FOR WRITING THIS. I AM A LOVER OF IGBO CULTURE. IGBOS ARE GOOD PEOPLE. LET US NOT ALLOW HATERS TO SPEAK FOR US! |
PDP ruled with so much impunity which is why Nigerians accross the country are voting against the party. i hope they learn their lessons. |
YToruba, Igbos, Hausas and all ethnic groups voted for Ambode. He must embrace all. Igbos however should not embark on that campaign again. Please dont call Lagos State 'no man's land'. Lagos State is part and parcel of South west, the domain of Nigeria's Yoruba tribe. And never forget that Lagos State is not Oshodi, but includes Epe, Ikorodu, Agege, Badagry, Igbogbo...etc. |
AGBAJE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR IGNITING ONE TRIBE AGAINST THE OTHER AND STARTING A MALICIOUS CAMPAIGN. HE SHOULD BE PAID BACK WITH 'NO VOTE' SO THAT AMBODE CAN WIN AND BRING HEALING TO THE SITUATION. IF THE IBOS CAN REASON THROUGH, THIS IS HOW THEY SHOULD BE THINKING. I DO NOT SUPPORT WHAT THE OBA SAID. BUT THE TRUTH BE TOLD, HE DID NOT START IT. HE WOULD NOT HAVE, IF NOT THAT SOME PEOPLE STARTED CALLING LAGOS A 'NO MAN'S LAND'. AND ONE FELLOW STARTED TO ASK IGBO PEOPLE TO VOTE EN BLOC AGAINST APC. IT WAS VERY SILLY TO DO THAT. IGBOS SHOULD DISTANCE THEMSELVES FROM THAT CAMPAIGN AND LIKE MANY YORUBAS SEEK TO HEAL THE SITUATION AND NOT BLOW IT OUT OF PROPORTION. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT AGBAJE WILL BECOME A PERSONA NON GRATA IN YORUBA LAND FOR HIS KIND OF CAMPAIGN. HE IS NOT THE KIND OF PERSON TO PUT YOUR STAKES FOR. IGBOS, DONT MISS OUT IN THE OPPORTUNITY FOR INCLUSION IN A UNITY GOVERNMENT LED BY AMBODE. |
Why would anyone think of pushing APC to the opposition? Who will benefit from that, except the party who has lost at the centre, who now wants to turn Lagos into their theatre of incompetency and thuggery. Igbos are wise. They will not allow themselves to be used by a desperate politician. |
What is BOLD in the idea of running a campaign on TRIBAL grounds? PDP, the author of malicious campaigns is the party to PUSH aside. Stop the hate and the division - Let everyone vote according to his or her conscience and let our nation be united. |
There is no violence anywhere by God's grace. PDP goons started this calumnous tribal campaign. Lovers of peace should shun campaign on tribal grounds. Let every man vote according to his own conscience. |
ok |
wayoooo |
Rose2014:There is a great deal of difference between Lagos and Lagos State. Lagos State has no king. If this country would take a leap forward people should stop campaigning on tribal or religious lines. people should look for information. Epe, Ikorodu, Igbogbo, Badagry are all part of Lagos State and all these places have their kings as well. Lagos Island is not the same as Lagos State. What has the candidate done? What is on his CV? Who are his friends? We should look for information and vote on that basis. For a candidate to earn votes, he should be able to campaign on 2 grounds THESE ARE THE THINGS I HAVE DONE (to start with) THESE ARE THE THINGS I WILL DO If you could not make a success running a bakery or a tannery, how would you rule a whole state? |
Some politicians started this whole hate and tribal campaign. Yorubas and Igbos alike should be wise enough to distance themselves from this nonsense. From the very first day of the campaign you could see this thing build up. We say NO to hatred and NO to the people who try to promote it just to gain political power. APC has been ruling Lagos and has never tried to divide Lagos on tribal lines. Now the campaigners of hate and evil want to set the house on fire, because they are losers. |
No Nigerians should incite one tribe against the other. PDP and JK started this nonsense. Now an Oba is caught in the web. Solution is - OBA should withdraw the statement AND Agbaje should be thrown out. That way, the people would WIN. JK, desperate to win an election does not mind to set the house of fire. The people of Lagos should not allow this kind of divisive and desperate thing. Shun the politics of hatred and shun politcians who thrive on it. |
Tenure will come tenure will go, let those who hold power today learn well. Tyranny pays no man! |
none. |
Jonathan worked against himself. He surrounded himself with political neophytes and liabilities and fought against his assets. How many votes could those allies generate? Some of them never even voted and a great deal of others even lost their polling units! |
I doubt if that will ever happen. Not with the massive corruption that took place in his time. |
Its nice of you to have admitted you LOST the election. |
President Jonathan, a great man who sadly was cornered by negative people. For this one good step, Nigerians commend you. |
This is how it is in every clime. You dont have to wait for the last collation. APC has agents in the remaining states and they knew what they scored. Even FAYOSE has done the right thing acknowleding Buhari as the winner. This is the time for Jonathan to speak. For once, show how good you are at responding to events. He is still the President and should lead by example and write his name in gold. Dont let others take the shine off you, Mr President. Dont allow people like FFK to speak for you now. Dont et him drag you down the tunnel. Welcome to a new Nigeria. |
Smart politician. Always moving with people! |
