ono: I get that you can't use the right words to express yourself properly. Instead of using the word Immortal (reserved for God and Him alone), you could have used "enduring" or "sages" of their days - to better convey your points about the characters you're "trying" hard to paint. + BS. It is wrong to describe God as immortal, because that word bears a soft connotation of a being which could conceivably be mortal but has somehow transcended mortality. Suitable words for God would be timeless, transcendent, eternal, etc. And that would be assuming that we speak of the same entity when we refer to God - for all I know you may be referring to the barbaric Abrahamic entity which most do. |

And no, Democrats were not the only ones demanding the release. In fact a significant part of MAGA was very upset about it and alot of his base turned on Trump for trying to backtrack on it. raumdeuter: 2 days ago you were screaming that that files should be released
Trump signed it yesterday that it should be released
Now you are screaming that it has been cleaned up. What you haven't seen already.
If it has been cleaned up then the Democrats and Biden FBI who saw the uncleaned part should release their version
You see how the derangement captures you. You start thinking irrationally + One thing you don't get is that you think anyone will be silly enough to believe that a Kash Patel and a Pam Bondi will release anything that will implicate their master. That is impossible. And no, I wasn't screaming two days ago that files should be released. Rather I have always questioned why Trump stonewalled, backtracked, gaslighted and tried to block the release in the first place. That it's happening now after all that cannot impress any discerning watcher. It's happening at a time he had no choice and has had time to collude and clean up whatever necessary. Only an alien will think Pat Bondi and Kash will release anything that implicates Trump. Hell will sooner freeze over. I challenge you to show me where two days ago I was screaming for the release of the files. My complaint has always been about the entire stonewalling, gaslighting, backtracking, and obvious connivance and deliberate delay. |

The bare fact is that the strange pride you carry around like a girls pink dress and a clowns lipstick will make you keep denying these undeniable facts which are as clear as daylight. |

basilico: Trump as far I'm concerned has been exonerated by Ghislaine Epstein Virginia Giuffrey Victims Attorney Acosta DA in Epstein 2008 case Bill Barr
Democrats keep hyping Trump over and over, drowning out the close Epstein friends who repeatedly visited his island. They have made it a Trump coverup while letting the abusers walk free. These people have never been questioned. For instance the Clintons are making up every excuse not to appear before the House committee, I'm not sure if they have been refered to the DOJ. Biden didn't have to manufacture all those cases if he had s single photo of Trump with a child,or any accusation by a victim The Trump family was subpoenad and interrogated over 100 times by investigators looking to find any crime. + I stopped reading at the bold. Have a good day. |

Kukutente23: Hmm I don't know where you got this from but it's totally false to say that boko haram were violent in 2003. Funny enough just last week or so, Femi Falana was reminding people that BH were given a commissioner slot under Sherriff in 2003.
I have a lot of things to say about BH but I wouldn't want to bore you. But just read widely about it and then talk to people you know in the NE and you'll get a better view of what boko haram was and how it metamorphosed into what it is now.
If you want to understand what happened in 2009, just cast your mind to what happened with the shiites in Kaduna and Abuja under Buhari and El-Rufai. I remember I was saying it on this forum and elsewhere that the biggest mistake the govt will make then is to allow Zakzaky to die in detention.
If that happened, BH will be a child's play compared to what the result will be. This is because Shiites are present in every town in the north. Not just state capitals o but every town. They have radical elements as well who are being kept under by Zakzaky's presence. And they also have members in our security establishments even up to the ONSA and of course direct link to Iran.
I was happy that the govt also saw reason then to ensure his life was preserved. Why I'm saying this is because between 2016 and 2021 there were so many confrontations between Nigerian security and Shiites. The scores were usually unpalatable. The Shiites will sustain hundreds of casualties while the Nigerian forces will end up with probably one death or none at all sometimes. This is because the shiites are usually armed with stones and sticks while facing the firepower of the Nigerian forces.
This is the exact same thing that occurred in 2009 when BH demanded the release of their members who were detailed in various police cells across four states.
Of course they were met with brute force. Over 1000 of them died while the Nigerian forces lost I think 2 police men and a soldier. Do you know that after that incident in July-Sep 2009, no one heard of anything BH until July 2010 when they started attacking with weapons?
Now ask yourself what events occurred in Nigeria within that period. In July 2009, what BH did could be likened to a violent protest, civil disturbance or riot at worst. But in July 2010, what they carried out was a full scale militant attack and the next attack after that was on a school where hundreds of students were summarily killed. Look read up on BH and get info if you have people who have stayed long in the NE.
The summary of my point is that BH started in 2002. And they were even part of govt in 2003. From 2004-2009, they were mostly dissident islamists. From 2010 to now, they are a militant group. + Thank you and good morning. I have many things to deal with this morning so will be brief: regardless what you say here, even the violence of BH did not start under GEJ, neither did their militancy. Have a good day aburo. |

Baxilexi: If present day Libya is anarchy to you, then northern Nigeria is a lost cause, because bandits dictate their terms to communities and governors. Gumi dictates to the president how he should lead. Politicians act unhinged, participating in open brawls.
What was gadaffi’s plan for the future of Libya? While it wouldn’t be a stroll in the park transitioning from a dictatorship to democracy today’s Libya is more stable than Mali and Northern Nigeria. + You still cant admit the catastrophic result of American and French intervention in Libya which seeded wild anarchy into the country and created the proliferation of small arms across the Sahel right up to Northern Nigeria and was the catalyst for the trauma in the AES countries today. If you cant make that first step, then you cant understand what I am saying. |

Baxilexi: Now you’re chasing rainbows. How many American oil companies operate presently in Libya? Libya still has the cheapest oil in Africa. You made claims about driving Nigeria to anarchy. How is Libya anarchy?
Libya’s struggles today are internal. I do not deny non-altruistic reasons for helping Nigeria, but it can be a win-win. Politicians assign oil wells and gold mines to themselves with zero impact to the populace. So if the US wishes to act as a hired gun then I’m all in for the hire.
Plus, my own theory is that they’re targeting Islamic extremist countries. Northern Nigeria shares similarities to Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other similar countries and creates an enclave for terrorists to thrive under the auspices of being religiously correct. + You have some good points but I cant take you seriously when you ask the bold. |
