Hopefully, the new tax law regime will attract foreign investors .
But balablu and his goons must fix our security challenges and embark on massive infrastructural development.
Else we will just be beating about the jungle. BAT's IMF inspired reforms were only ever going to achieve recession, starvation and poverty. It will not change even if implemented for fifty years. |

You cooperate with any leader and Caesar as far as it doesn't involve sin as clearly stated in the Bible. We obey God rather than men. So if Hitler says there's a census, or election, or pay tax and utilities bill, you do so and pray for him. This is Bible. If he says go and steal, or fornicate, or worship idols, be a Daniel.
1Ti 2:1 KJV I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 1Ti 2:2 KJV For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 1Ti 2:3 KJV For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; You are contradicting yourself. The God-fearing should be subject and, of course, not be involved in resisting or forceful, hostile, takeover-like protests. No need for rigmarole. So in short, if Hitler is your leader, don't resist. That simply means comply, cooperate, obey. Don't make any attempt to see him out of that position no matter how peaceful, don't do anything against his wish, don't resist even his evil commands. No be so? |

If you are picked up by DSS now for relaying and spreading lies online, you will expect me and others to waste our time to hold placard "FREE YOU", right? You better stop accommodating hatred in your heart so that many bad thoughts will not be and mere assumption will not turn your mind to a play ground for filthy thought. Continue deceiving yourself. Carry all your verifiable information and your CCTV footage when the discussion was going on for money laundering in your house and present to the court or sell the information to your LP or Obi or Atiku so that Obi can become president tomorrow. When everything that comes from your mind is hatred towards him, there is no way bad thought will not be holding conference meetings in your corrupted mind.
If Nigerian population compared to China and India that are above billions in population is significant to China/India, then be rest assured that 800,000 of a sovereign country is far more significant for Nigeria as well. No matter how small the highland may be, there is something they get better than Nigeria that can be benefited. Never despise any country no matter how small you think they are St. Lucia doesnt have a population of 800k. Its population is 180k. Let that sink in. I hope you know Gilbert Chagouri his partner is the Honourary Consul of St. Lucia to the Vatican. For those of you who do not know, Chagouri has been convicted of fraud in two countries - the USA and Switzerland. If you wish, analyse with wisdom. If you wish, do not. Oh, and with regard to the comparison to China and India. I hope you know our population of 230 million is almost twenty percent of the populations of those countries. Besides, we are, at that figure, among the most populous countries in the world. Nigeria is exactly the sixth most populous country in the world! There are only five countries ahead of us! By contrast, the population of St. Lucia is 0.07826% of the population of Nigeria. Not even up to one per cent! |

Image123: Oh i just rechecked, we're talking of two different things, you about GDP, me about GDP growth. https://www.imf.org/external/datamapper/profile/NGA
This was clearly expected with the reset (forex subsidy removal or floatation). If government subsidizes dollar today, the figures immediately changes. i guess you are chasing numbers, i look for a country with real permanent positive change. i admit there are pains, but i support the removal of the subsidy. i knew and any educated person knew it would come with the initial hardship, regardless of who removed it. i wish it had been removed earlier but there was lack of will. Here we are and it is what it is. BTW, i wasn't in love or fully supportive of Tinubu until i saw the options if not him, and saw him doing what i have always prayed for Nigeria to have. The notion that subsidy was bad and necessarily had to be removed was nothing but Bretton Woods propaganda which is nothing new - it has existed for decades and every single time it has been implemented by third world countries has only led to greater poverty and recession. What needed to be addressed was the corruption in the subsidy system. A subsidy that ballooned from under N300 billion to over N7 Trillion in just a few years shows nothing but magnificent corruption on a cosmic scale by and within the government. That is what needed to be addressed - the corruption. Today, you can rest assured that whatever is claimed to be have been saved from the so called subsidy removal will simply be looted. And if you dont know that about Nigeria, then you are a novice about this country. As regards naira floatation this is also another Bretton Woods piece of poverty inducing manipulation. An import depedent economy cannot afford to devalue its currency the way we did. Same thing has been done repeatedly by countries being advised by the IMF. It always leads to the same result - recession, starvation and poverty. Only an exporting and industrially robust economy can do that profitably. If you are import dependent the way Nigeria is, it is economic suicide to devalue your currency. You must defend it to some extent still until you can compete properly in the international market. Bola Tinubu has easily been the worst president in the history of Nigeria and the only ways he will win in 2027 are (1) Mass rigging and/ or (2) Oposition disunity. |

LordReed: Because spiritual is generally defined as nonphysical, nonmaterial phenomenon. This is opposed to natural things which are physical or material based phenomenon. Spiritual things are said to be independent of natural things so it is impossible that it both spiritual and natural. Very well. Perhaps we have different takes on some words. For me, all things are natural. There is, in fact, nothing like "supernatural." Even GOD ITSELF, if or where IT exists, can only be natural. So for me, the words "natural" and "physical" are neither synonymous nor coterminus. For me, to say that something is natural is almost like saying it is what exists by default, or is the basic, normal, logical way in which a thing happens, functions or exists. This is entiely different from saying that a thing is physical or non physical. Because there are non physical things which are natural. Examples are thoughts, time, information, numbers and many others. |

Kukutente23: It is you who simply do not understand how Nigerian politicians think or arrive at decision. If you think a political giant like Atiku will sit down to ask a Reno for advice on who should be his Vice, then you need to speak less and listen more in this section. It is not about qualification. It is about clout, influence and strongmanship none of which Reno possesses. May I remind you that Reno's main grouse with Obidients is their refusal to listen to his advice to support Atiku and not Obi because he believed Obi does not have the necessary clout and structure to run and win. Go back and check his 2022 tweets. His present suport for Tinubu is borne out of two things: frustration and spite.
Can you kindly explain how that mail implies that Obi is asking Reno to help him convince Atiku to pick him as Vice. Just outline the specific portions that support that inference. And this is without prejudice to the fact that Reno has been posturing as if he is a confidante of Atiku which anyone that knows anything know that he's not! He cant do the bold. Kukutente23: Loool. Reno was not even GEJ's official spokesman. That was Reuben Abati. Reno's beat was mainly socia media engagements. Even Doyin Okupe was higher than him in rank. That's who you think has enough clout to nominate a VP. Are you joking or you're trolling? Even Abati his boss does not have enough clout to nominate a VP not to mention Reno. Heck... even Femi Adesina does not! You simply don't know what you're typing Smartypants has shocked me today. I rated him far higher than this. |

Some like you even call Buhari more preferable. The point is, Nigerians soon forget. Even in 2023 with the CBN cashless home goal and all they said about APC, Tinubu still pulled the numbers in states lost and won 12 states. Politics is a game of numbers, you surely must be hearing about the weekly defections of opposition politicians to the APC. Hardship will not matter in 2027 because the effects of forex and fuel subsidy removal are already showing. Those are the main root causes of the hardship BTW. There'll be no wasting of votes or senseless votes based on fear of muslin ticket, Lagos, FCT, Osun, Kaduna and Kano are likely going to APC from the look of things.
