1. We can agree to disagree on truth. I personally believe it's necessary for a healthy relationship. If both parties don't believe what the other is saying it will eventually breed suspicion and resentment.

In a lot of third world countries their view of relationships is similar to ours but in the west theirs is completely different and focuses of trust and building together. why do you think that is? 1. Truth is not inevitable in a finite life and people very often find with the benefit of hindsight that there are things they would rather not have known. There is great wisdom and maturity in this, and as I hinted, its something older people often relate with very well on account of experience. In fact, older and experienced people know how useful to peace and happiness it can be to turn a blind eye to certain things.
