stanluiz: President Trump is right! If Nato countries cannot rally and confront Iran, how can they defeat a country like Russia.
Countries like UK, France, Germany etc fall trump hand .
That's Europe is safe and peaceful is because of America. If US withdrawal from NATO Russia will invade and annex almost all the European nations. + A draft dodger has no right to call anyone else a coward. |

pansophist: Listen to Chinese president talk. Listen to Russian president talk. Complete decorum.
They speak concisely, with clear dictions and assume that their audience is educated and can spot bullshit from far.
But Trump? The usual Oshodi tout talks politely than him. How he made it to the White House speaks very low of Americans. Like this is the best you can get?
Let me just say that the only evidence I need to determine that you are a dumbo is if you support Trump.
But looking at the good side, he seems like the perfect man to bring down western hegemony, and he is doing the job perfectly.
Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. + Perfectly said. Wise and well calibrated. You are well brought up, educated and civilized. |

They are paper tigers and cowards for not calling his bulshits to his face but sitting it out while grumbling and murmuring in hushed tones behind.
Trump hasn't said anything new. But not in the way he thinks.
NATO has never had a mind of its own... the same useless NATO the clown has been paying a huge prize to join! + As the toddler that he is, he hasnt learnt anything still. I don't know all the history among you guys and what you have shared but one hundred percent sure, from what I read on that link, there was nothing unbelievable or extraordinary there and there were far too many absurd assumptions on the part of the so called Ibime. Trolling you is not even fun - I'm off to swing some bells. Are gorilla rows racist?

MaxInDHouse: Abeg how does the parable of the good Samaritan apply to what we are saying here?
Perhaps you don't know the Samaritans and Jews are all Israelites so they have God's law unlike pagan nations!🙂 + Must I spell it out to you? The point is this: The parable shows what exactly is needed to enter the kingdom of heaven. Remember that Jesus was asked this question and he replied saying love God and love your neighbor. He was then asked who a neighbor is and he replied with the parable of the good Samaritan. In so doing he showed that that essential love is what is required and not any pagan belief in any blood ritual of murder by torture. |

TV01: Yes, there are reasons. The question is what are those reasons?
No. These are excuses and grist for the mill of grifters.
Nigeria can;t solve for open defecation because " complex one of deep history, environment, geography, climate, trade, wars and conquests, chance, the butterfly effect, and much much more. Even flora and fauna count."
The requirements to build a minimal viable society or functioning country are not difficult. They are all known, and can literally be copied or bought. You can even develop alternative systems.
Japan rebuilt all surrounding infrastructure 10 days after a major earthquake. There's a thread up in here somewhere. I'm happy to agree that Japanese people are in no way superior to Nigerians.
Id like to understand why Nigeria cannot demonstrate this - almost basic - level of civilisational wherewithal. Japan's climate is clearly less forgiving. no? Abi it's because of flower?
TV + I have told you that the reasons as vast and complex. There are university research papers done on this matter which are sober and profound. You probably have the limited and unschooled view that its a matter of once race being smart and another being apes. |

TV01: DeepSight, where are you. I'd like to troll you. As you can tell, I 'm bored. Have you gotten over your crush on me? + Crush ke? Troll away. My issue with you was two things, one was a sort of broad claim you made that I was nasty to people over the Gaza issue (and that was not really an issue as you are entitled to that opinion, I know I can be strident). But the second one was unbelievable: your claim that Tommy Robinson is not racist/. But ride on. Care less about the song. That wasn't my entry point. Maybe they don't see "whiteness as better", just acknowledge that some societies are better ordered, are able to build and maintain functioning institutions and are more technologically advanced. Higher up the civilisational curve one might say. + Without a doubt some societies are more advanced than others and there are many reasons for this. Understanding those reasons should actually help people be less, not more racist. Racist people often think that its a factor of racial superiority (tribalistic / xenophobic people / ethnic chauvnists - also think the same way). However the matter is a complex one of deep history, environment, geography, climate, trade, wars and conquests, chance, the butterfly effect, and much much more. Even flora and fauna count. |

Wicked people who have rendered their conscience dead will not be raised back to life they have had their fair share in life but proved to be useless! Psalms 9:17 + This is inconsistent. For the demands of justice, it must be fulfilled. Is it painful, scary and maybe unbelievable to you but that's the clear definition of justice, every crime must be paid for before forgiveness is granted. Kukutente23: FFK is calling someone a political prostitute and glutton What is my "friend and brother" with a short fuse smoking these days Let's be real. Dele Momodu still has more credibility than FFK and Reno At least he never joined PDP when they were the ruling party and left APC when they were the ruling party on principles and has not gone back since while Reno and FFK have been seen to join the PDP and then APC when they were the ruling party on two occasions. So it's easy to spot who is being pushed by their stomach + It was amusing reading what the chap wrote because it sounded as though he was describing himself. |

MaxInDHouse: The simple question is:
Are you saying there is no evil person who lived and died without your Karma?
God's word never mention "Karma"
So it's not what you are thinking!🙂 + In addition to my response above, let me say that many traditions have different perceptions of how this karma plays out. In Hindu tradition for example, it does not have to be within one lifetime, it is stretched over many reincarnations. |

MaxInDHouse: The simple question is:
Are you saying there is no evil person who lived and died without your Karma? + Personally I am not God so I dont know everything and I cannot know the answer to this question. I am just telling you that that is what scripture teaches and I have given you many verses that say so unless you want to say scripture is wrong or false. God's word never mention "Karma" + Must it say the exact word when it describes it? I hope you know there are many things that scripture does not mention but by description, the stance of scripture is clear. You position is just like saying scripture does not mention not smoking marjuana or tobacco or sniffing cocaine. But scripture talks about keeping the body healthy and holy! |

tctrills: None of these verses say what you want them to say. These verses teach personal responsibility but that did not teach that forgiveness is impossible. Repentance is an aspect of personal responsibility. I understand you don't believe in repentance that is abundantly taught in the bible + Repentance is not a problem, it is simply not tied to the ritual murder of anyone. That in itself is an absurd and barbaric concept. Haba. That you will only be forgiven when one innocent man is murdered in a gruesome torturous manner and you buy into it? Think about it for heavens sake, stop and think! What sort of antediluvian caveman ritualistic teaching is that? ? ? ? |

LordReed: Bro tobacco has mind altering effects, that is why it becomes addictive. + Errrrr.... Very limited by comparison. Very very limited. And I would not personally call them mind altering effects. I would simply say habit forming effects. I know for a fact that for many smokers of tobacco its the mere relaxation of pulling that deep breath in and pushing it out coupled with the taste. This is a very different thing from getting high either on alcohol or narcotics both of which can and do seriously change your perception and impulses. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Tctrills: On The Repugnant Aspects Of Christian Doctrine by DeepSight(op): 3:42pm On Mar 20 |
MaxInDHouse: Karma is not what the Bible is talking about o!😟
God's word is talking to His worshipers who feels they can be wiser than Him so when any of God's servants refuses to accept His counsel such a person will not be protected from the consequences of his or her own actions.
Many wicked people have lived wickedly and died without any punishment apart from the common natural death affecting everyone but no servant of God in the Bible escapes the consequences of disobedience.
That's what the Bible is saying Sir!🙂 + You are the one preaching a gospel of your own making, the many verses I quoted speak for themselves. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Iran Executes A Man For Drinking Alcohol by DeepSight(m): 3:34pm On Mar 20 |
LordReed: Yeah as if tobacco is any less a drug. Tobacco has psychoactive effects like any other recreational drug. To then harshly punish one over the other is hypocrisy of a fairly high order + Smoking tobacco is bad for the health, but having been a long term smoker of tobacco myself in the past, I dont think it is right to equate it with mind altering substances like alcohol or narcotics. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Tctrills: On The Repugnant Aspects Of Christian Doctrine by DeepSight(op): 3:29pm On Mar 20 |
MaxInDHouse: So who sets the Kamal law you talked about?🤔 + The Bible itself preaches Karma - Galatians 6:7–8: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." 2 Corinthians 9:6: "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." Matthew 7:1–2: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Obadiah 1:15: "As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head." Proverbs 22:8: "Whoever sows injustice reaps calamity, and the rod they wield in fury will be broken." Proverbs 26:27: "Whoever digs a pit will fall into it; if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them." Job 4:8: "As I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it." Thus you can see that the teaching of Karma is spread all over scripture. Tctrills you should note all the above scripture which should tell you that there is nothing like the propitiatory sacrifice for sins. |
