Two days ago, I flew into the Abuja airport and my stomach was rumbling because of the ice cream I had taken the night before. But at that point, I had two options: a) Sh!!t in the airport toilet b) Sh!!t in my pants I chose the 2nd option  (Although God helped me and I held it till I got to town  )That's how bad the state of the airports are. I'd rather do it in my pants than enter the toilet. And this is even Abuja airport. Port Harcourt airport is a no-go area. And Benin airport. No comment  |

Na wa! In as much as there's a serious security lapse in the country, let's not blame this on security. Atleast not entirely. Firstly, Im sure those who were given the contract for the machines, inflated the cost as is the norm. That's Strike 1. Now, after inflating the cost, they have decided to claim their possession. They have most likely "settled" all those so-called airport security officials. I'm wondering what the main aim for this theft is. Is it to: a) Resell the machines? b) Capture their own data directly? (another form of rigging) c) Sabotage efforts being made to have a free and fair election so as to have a smoother rigging process d) "Expose" the ineffectiveness of the Jonathan administration?? Whatever the reasons, this has further increased my pessimism about the development of Nigeria. Just when I thought I had reached the height of pessimism, it gets worse!  |

I know someone who did this. I.e She went to a "pastor" to find out whether or not her boyfriend was meant for her. She was told that "he isnt your own" but she still went ahead and married him. After that, I stayed away from her because I was suddenly uncomfortable around her I personally believe it is not necessary. A true Christian should be able to ask God for directions and He'll answer. I don't know how it works with the Muslims, so I cant comment on that. |

Their not getting married in a church is most likely because of the kid they had outside wedlock. These days, churches can be funny, you know. In my opinion sha, I think the main reason they got married is because they already have a kid together, they probably felt that need to "make it right". Whilst that is a good reason, it is not the ultimate oh! I hope the reason that brought them together stays strong enough to keep them goin thru the years, Amen! |
