FamilyRe: My Wife Often Denies Me Sex Despite That I Only Return Home On Weekend From Work by Deepthoughts: 11:25am On Jul 06, 2019
kennydotkom:
My wife has always denied me sex with her, though I know that whenever she is not in good mood, she won't allow me, but this has become frequent with her. Note that I work in another state but I come home every weekend in which I have all the privileges to have girls because I live alone.

I can decide not to come home on a weekend just to attend to other girls but I didn't. Many people often call me a pastor because my neighbor where I work has not seen me with girlfriend with all the freedom I have.

Sometimes she jokingly says that I so much like sex that she doesn't want to grow old fast because of sex. With just 2 or 3rounds am OK till next weekend oo.

HOW TRUE IS This? as for me I get satisfy whenever we have fun togeda such that I can wait till next weekend when I will return home from work.

She is not a working class type, so she does her business at home, no stress except to take care of kids. at time she complained of headache, tiredness, or even if I wake her up at around 4am when kids have slept, she will complain that why did I wake her up when she was dreaming. And if am forcing her, she will being to make noise that can wake the kids up.

Here in my place of work in abeokuta I have all the reason to sleep with other girls, in which I have told my wife herself that my conscience cannot judge me if I do, because with little time I spend with you, u often turn me down and mostly she never initiate sex with me except she is extremely happy but very rear.

I don't know who to report her to .i just don't want to flirt around because of fear of God and love I have for my kids. We can go a month without sex, she is very OK with that, I told her that she had turn herself to just roommate.
Change your routine, try paying unannounced visit home on working days to very sure your wife is not cheating,if you are sure she is faithful let her be when she is ready, she will ask for it.

EducationRe: I Have Lost Interest In School by Deepthoughts: 7:47am On Jul 02, 2019
nointerestinsch:
What you are about to read is the deluge from the heart of a broken National Diploma finalist in one of the Polytechnics in Nigeria. I am 20 years old. I have created a new account to share this, only my coursemates or people in my school would recognize me through this article.

The past week has been the most depressing week of my entire life; as much as I have been living with depression for the past few months, this week has been overwhelming.

I used to be the most-hardworking student I know. I was top of my class in ND 1. I ensured I finished all the textbooks of the courses we offered in each semester. In the euphoria of how well my hardwork paid off, my goal for ND 2 was to graduate with a Distinction, and top my class again. The way things panned out in my first year made me love how a student could be rewarded if the student puts in his or her best in studying.

Fast-forward to ND 2 first semester, I finished all the textbooks and made sure I understood the courses by self-testing and tutoring my colleagues – as usual. Our semester results are released at the beginning of the next semester. I never fret at the WhatsApp Broadcast of Facebook Post that a course result has been released. The first course (Entrepreneurship) result of last semester was pasted in the second week of resumption and I had a ‘CD’ – this was my lowest grade all through my stay in the school till date. I didn’t take it to heart as I didn’t study this course too well last semester and it was a 2-credit unit course.
But then, one week later, the result for one of my courses (OO COBOL) was released. I had an ‘F’. To put this in perspective, this is one of the easiest programming languages out there. Plus, it is an outdated language – already says a lot about the standard down here. I and a few of my coursemates were the best at this course last semester. I personally was getting paid to help fill practical manuals. It was basically one of those courses I wouldn’t need to study for prior to an exam the next day. I had an ‘F’. I’m not ‘clouting’, but the best grades in this course ironically belonged to people who would not be able to write a simple “Hello World” program using this programming language. I completely broke down at the sight of my name trailing to an ‘F’ on the result sheet. I immediately persuaded the few “good students” who also got “F”’s and were sure they did well to join me and go make a case to our Head of Department (HOD). I represented the group and told the HOD that this is not what we expect for a course like this. I asked if we could see our marked exam answer sheets. Would you believe it? He said the answer sheets have not been submitted to him, and that if I want a remarking, I would have to pay N15,000 to the school management or the remarking panel (or whatever name they try to scam us with). I was disgusted at these revelations. I mean, how can I be charged 15k for me to just get a chance to prove myself? 15k? Just to see and prove my own exam answers? This is an educational institution, and not a law court or the police station. The HOD said he cannot do anything about it, that we only have the option of going to ‘see’ the lecturer.

The lecturer had on several occasions, after the exam, related to the entire class through the class rep that each student needs to pay at least 7k or else you would fail. I ignored all of those because I thought they were threats and believed I did more than enough to get at least a “B”. It eventually turns out the lecturer wasn’t blabbing about it. I don’t know how I would be able to face myself knowing I paid to get a grade in school. I am at a crossroad. I am lost.

This is my ordeal. I have absolutely lost any interest and passion for school. For real, what is the essence of all my sleepless nights? Sacrificing trendy clothes and sneakers for data subscription and materials to do research? When, in the end, a fellow that did not even attend lectures will have a better grade because he or she has money to give the lecturer? Is this the way it has been from way back? Or did the standard just drop so low? Why have these lecturers taken pride in extorting other people’s pockets and suppressing bright minds? Why have they used money to promote waywardness in higher institutions? Why is money the determining factor of student’s grades and not the student’s academic performance fueled by unwavering passion for studying and learning?

These and many more unanswered questions are the reasons why I have lost all interest in school and education. Nothing actually interests me now. School is a total waste of precious time. People party all semester and show up to sign attendance on the exam day, then pay money to the lecturer to pass. It’s all money, money and more money! All these pot-bellied bastards destroying destinies and killing dreams! Would they do this to their own children?

I want to speak up, but I can’t. I am depressed. I am discouraged. I am tired. I want to quit school.

Thank you for reading up!
I have one strong principle in life n that's"in every situation, always think of what you stand to gain or loss"then act accordingly,in as much as the activities of those lecturers is outrightly condemnable n criminal, the future is of out most importance,if I were in your shoes, since I can't fight n change the system I will keep on with my hard work as well as sort the lecturer out but certainly take note of the. for posterity sake,I strongly believe that in no distant future you will have a wonderful story to tell, don't give up.
PoliticsRe: North Alone Can Accommodate Ruga Settlements – Govt by Deepthoughts: 7:30am On Jul 02, 2019
Ify05:
Niger State government has said the Northern states have the potentials to accommodate the federal government’s Ruga settlement plan.

Ruga settlements are conceived by the federal government to address the incessant clashes between farmers and herders in the country.

In an interactive session with newsmen on Monday in Minna, the Secretary to the Niger State Government (SSG), Ahmed Matane, said: “the North had the largest land mass in the country with greater portion largely untapped.”

He added that Northern state governors, in collaboration with the federal government, should put the land into judicious use through the Ruga settlement initiative.

He said the initiative could look at the possibility of reactivating the structures already put in place by the defunct Northern Region government through the many grazing reserves that abound in the North.

According to him, most of the reserves had been gazetted with already developed structures but abandoned.

Matane added that they should be rehabilitated and upgraded for use, pointing out that the ongoing discontents over the proposed settlement were needless.

He said, “Bringing the nomads together would end the conflict thrown up by the struggle for space. The Ruga initiative would lead to development and enhancement of livestock value chain.”

“Livestock development is a big business. The value chain is enormous and will attract huge foreign exchange for the country. Leather alone is a multimillion naira business and in the ongoing diversification drive of the federal government from oil to agriculture; livestock subsector could be the key flagship,” he explained.

The SSG said Niger State had already taken the lead through the rehabilitation of the 45, 000 hectares Bobi Grazing Reserve in Mariga local government area.

According to him, the present administration, under the leadership of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, would expedite action towards promoting pasture development for Pastoralists at the Grazing Reserve.

He explained that the settlement of Pastoralists at the Grazing Reserve would turn nomadic Pastoralists into mixed Farmers who will take up crop farming to supplement livestock farming.

Lol, after claiming something exists or was done, the plaintiff is now looking for evidence? It is Atiku's duty to provide/call his witnesses to support his case; it's not the job of the Tribunal to summon a witness for Atiku. The courts have ruled over and over again that they're not father Christmas to dash something to any side in a litigation.

When Atiku is ready, he will prove the existence of the so-called Central Server he is claiming "was used to transmit election results." This his claim despite the fact that his agents and those of other contestants signed off on the polling result sheets on which the final declared results were based and all those still exist?

Can "transmitted results," some of which might not even have gotten through with our poor infrastructure, even if some were indeed electronically transmitted, be more complete than the signed polling result sheets from which they were supposedly transmitted?

Why has Atiku relegating signed paper trails and instead chasing the shadow of an at best incomplete election results he still has to prove was transmitted on a server?

Having said all that, it's Atiku's right, so let him continue.

But hey, what do I know, right?

PoliticsRe: Atiku, PDP Urge Supreme Court To Grant Them Access To INEC Server by Deepthoughts: 11:44am On Jun 30, 2019
mysidechick:
Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last general elections, Atiku Abubakar and his party have approached the Supreme Court to grant them access to a supposed server purportedly used to transmit election results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) in a ruling on June 24, 2019 had rejected a similar request they made in a motion on notice that was dismissed, a decision Atiku and the PDP have now appealed before the Supreme Court via a notice of appeal filed on June 26, 2019.

Atiku and his party want the Supreme Court to allow their appeal and set aside the June 24, 2019 ruling of the PEPT.

In rejecting the application, the PEPT had held, among others that granting their request would amount to pre-judging the issue in the substantive case, which is whether or not INEC has a central server, which it deployed for the purpose of transmitting results during the last presidential election.

The PEPT was of the view that granting the reliefs sought by Atiku and the PDP at the pre-hearing stage, when parties have joined issues on the dispute over the existence and use of a central server, would amount to agreeing with the petitioners (Atiku and the PDP) that a INEC had a central server which it deployed to transmit results during the election.

The preponderance of the claim by Atiku and his party is to the effect that they won the last presidential election going by the results they claimed to have got from the said central server allegedly owned and deployed for the election by INEC.

In the notice of appeal which The Nation sighted in Abuja yesterday, Atiku and the PDP are attacking the tribunal’s ruling on four grounds, the first being that the PEPT was in error when “contrary to the provisions of Section 151 (l) of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) they refused to grant the application of the Appellants on the ground that it will amount to pre-judging the issue in the substantive case.”

They argued that their application was legitimately brought within the confines of Section 151(1) of the Electoral Act,’2010 (as amended), which allows for an order for an inspection of a polling document or any other packet in the custody of the Chief National Electoral Commissioner or any other Officer of the commission for purpose of, inter alia, maintaining the election petition.

The appellants argued that their request was simply to be allowed to access and inspect “the information stored in the database packets in the 1st respondent’s (INEC’s) central server, such that all the parties were to be given an opportunity to participate in the inspection.”

On the second ground, they argued that the tribunal was in error when it failed to exercise its discretion in their favour despite placing sufficient materials placed before it.

I don't understand the difficulty in sorting out this server issue, since Atiku has stated the server address n the maker n supplier of it,why can't this persons be summon to clarify the issue once n for all, something tells me INEC/Apc has realized that Atiku/pdp has beaten them to the game n they are now only using federal Influence to fraudulently achieve their aim,in the midst of this the judiciary is making a mockery of itself.

There was pandemonium in the early hours of today in Abuja during the Shi'ites free El-Zakzaky protest.

Despite the heavily armed security operatives that barricade the road, the protesters kept on pushing.

In a video that sparked controversies, the Shi'ites were seen writing all sought of things about the President Buhari on the road verge as the Police officers watched them.

Watch the video
https://zenithnaija.com/see-what-happened-during-el-zakzaky-protest-in-the-presence-of-armed-policemen/
The root cause of this el zakzaky's case is actually the global struggle between the sunni vs shi'ite Islamic sects,so also is the crisis in yemen/Saudi Arabia n the war in Syria, the sunnis who are the major are vehemently opposed to shi'ite expansion in their territories while the shi'ite keep trying to make inroads, this problem is said to have it origin from the sudden death of prophet Mohammed n the dispute that arose regarding his successor, most people especially here in Nigeria term the shi'ite to be voilent but this is not very correct, most of the world's most voilent Islamic terror groups are of the sunny sect e.g,Abu zayyaf group in Philippines,Al qaida,Boko Haram, the Hamas, Islamic brotherhood in Egypt etc, buhari been a sunni like all other sunni Islamic leaders will never burge on the El zakzaky's (shi'ite) case, unfortunately this internal Islamic sectional struggle may eventually push Nigeria into catastrophe with very dear consequences.

[quote author=Priscy01 post=79663084]The Federal Government said on Tuesday that it had begun to establish “Ruga Settlements” for herdsmen in 12 pilot states nationwide, Igbere TV reports.

Alh. Mohammadu Umar, the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, made this known in an interview in Abuja on Tuesday on the sidelines of a workshop on Regional Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and associated legislation in West Africa.

He said that the farm settlements when fully established would address the incessant clashes between Fulani cattle rearers and farmers.

Umar explained that the pilot programme had already commenced on a 31,000-hectare in Kotongora, Niger state.

According to him, the required facilities for a basic life and treatment of cattle are being provided to enhance productivity.

He said that the government would replicate the programme in selected states as work “is ongoing in the 12 pilot states”.

According to him, six settlements will be established in each of the pilot states.

Umar, who added that the centres would be expanded and adequately equipped, and assured the beneficiaries that government would do all that was necessary to enlighten the herdsmen on how the use of ranches could make make cattle rearing more profitable.

He said that the government would sensitise the herdsmen to the social and political benefits derivable from such settlements.

The permanent secretary explained that various spots would be established for the pastoralists to be able to milk their cows.

He also said that dispensaries would be established to prevent the misuse of antibiotics.

Ranching is the simple solution to the herdsmen crisis but because the buhari fulani led administration is pursuing a different agenda they don't want to accept it,the real target of the hausa/fulani is control n dominance not peaceful coexistence n peaceful bussiness pursuit, now most states has realized this n are scary of having anything to do with fulanis,if not it's easy for the states government to establish ranches which the fulanis can use n pay rents just as market shops are built n rented to traders but won't the fulanis not later attempt to claim ownership of such ranches in future using federal might?, the fear of this future catastrophe is what most states are trying to avoid n rightly so.the results of this latest attempt by the present government will be very interesting.

The parties under the aegis of Joint Forum of 60 Presidential Candidates and National Chairmen, at a press conference addressed by Alhaji Mohammed Shittu, said the Independent National Electoral Commission did creditably well.

The event was also attended by the Co-Convener of the forum and chairman of West African Coalition of Political Parties, Chief Perry Opara.

Shittu said, “We reiterate that the INEC server controversy is unnecessary. It is a plot to discredit the election as political parties never agreed with INEC in any of the several pre-election meetings that results will be transmitted electronically.

“Parties agreed on a lot of issues with the commission and those were implemented. It is worrisome that only one political party out of 91 is saying a different thing on the presidential election while at the same time praising its performance on the other elections, especially governorship, conducted by the same INEC.

“INEC consulted widely and extensively, and together with stakeholders of which we are a part of, came up with the guidelines for the conduct of the 2019 general elections, which the commission followed to the letter. We recall that nine out of the eleven points for consideration we raised as candidates under the auspices of the Inter-Party Advisory Council and Coalition of United Political Parties respectively were adopted by the Commission. How then can the EU-EOM accuse the commission of a lack of transparency in putting up guidelines for the elections?

“Therefore, the report of the EU-EOM released over a week ago wherein they alleged a lack of transparency in the guidelines of election is bewildering. With all due respect to the EU-EOM, it is left to Nigerians to decide how we conducted our 2019 general elections.

“Going forward, we would like to urge President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately sign the Electoral Act Amendment into law once it is presented to him again by the National Assembly. That amendment will hugely improve our electoral system and its processes.”

Statement like this actually confirm the existence of the said INEC servers, for goodness sake,if Mr A claims that Mr B has a thing n Mr B denies, shouldn't Mr A be allowed to present his proofs n Mr B asked to contradict them?, this bunch of clownish presidential candidates sounds more like Apc sponsored sabotuers, the judgment of the presidential elections tribunal has only given INEC/Apc more time to cook up more lies to cover up their fraudulent collaborations but they should please try to be smarter because no matter how fast lie travels the truth will always eventually caught up with it n overtake to move ahead.

PoliticsRe: No Electoral Process Is Perfect, Says INEC Chairman by Deepthoughts: 5:46am On Jun 25, 2019
chimjoshjuan:
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Chairman, Yakubu Mahmood has stated that no electoral process is perfect.  Speaking at a review of the 2019 general elections with 387 EOs from the 19 Northern states and the Federal Capital Territory, the INEC Chairman who stated that no electoral process is perfect added that while friends would criticize them, enemies would come with condemnation.

He said, “Anything (criticism) that anybody is going to say about the conduct of (2019) elections in Nigeria is secondary to the kind of information we are going to hear from those who truly conducted elections at the level that matters; at the level of the Polling Units.

“Where we should be criticised, I consistently say that friends will criticise you, but your enemies will condemn you. But criticism is the basis for making any system work. No democracy and no electoral process is perfect. Every democracy is work in progress. So, feel free to make suggestions on all the issues relating to the whole process of conducting elections. You have the protection of the chairman that whatever you say will not be used against you.”

PoliticsRe: APC Group Protests Against Abba Kyari, Buhari’s Chief Of Staff In Abuja (photos) by Deepthoughts: 4:19pm On Jun 24, 2019
BleedingPen:
Some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are currently protesting against Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Igbere TV can report.

Igbere TV reports that the protest currently taking place in Abuja, is being co-ordinated by groups loyal to President Buhari, including members of the Buhari Media Organization (BMO).

Our correspondent monitoring the development reports that members of the group are calling for Kyari’s removal, accusing him of running the presidency as a cabal.

Igbere TV reports that the protesters were armed with placards of various inscriptions including: “No more cabal, no more intimidation, PMB remains our sole leader”, “We need fresh ideas not recycling men and women who have spent over 40 years in government”, “Hardwork must be rewarded”, etc.

Already, some personal aides of the Presidency and staunch supporters of the ruling party have taken the protest to Twitter under the hash tag #AbbaKyariMustGo!

Recall that the group held similar demonstration in protest against the appointment of some personal aides of Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan.

They labeled such persons as saboteurs, having linked them to ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

They insisted that the opposition cannot “reap” where they did not sow, adding that such appointments should instead favour members of the APC and not individuals who fought against the “Next Level” agenda.

Igbere TV reports that the protest led to the sack of Festus Adedayo as Media Adviser to Lawan, barely 48 hours after his appointment. Just yesterday, Olu Onemola, an ex-aide to Saraki resigned his reappointment as Special Assistant (New Media) to Ahmad Lawan.

Here are some shots of the protest taken by Igbere TV correspondents...

This protesters just like all other bunch of Apc supporters are all a bunch of confused lot, this same people will tell you buhari is a competent, tested, brave n battle hardened ex general that by his body language alone things get done but here we are with daily complaints of a cabal running ringing around buhari, this is a cley proof of buhari's lack of prerequisite know how, will power n questionable integrity but they will never admit it, instead they will be shifting blames n looking for scapegoats, buhari is simply a delusional, fanatical n nepotistic bigot but certainly far away from competency.

Tribunal Rejects Atiku, PDP’s Request To Access INEC’s Server.
The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal has rejected the request of the Peoples Democratic (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to have access to the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

A five-man panel of the tribunal unanimously refused the request, saying issues have been joined by parties on the existence or otherwise of the server.

The judges say the tribunal cannot delve into those issues at the interlocutory stage.

I read a more detailed report of this judgement on another media,I would have disagree completely with the judges decision but for the fact that they said the main issue of the server will be dealt with during the main hearing, opportunity must given to Atiku/pdp to prove beyond doubt that this said server exist n let INEC also defend her denials beyond mere claims, I'm surprised that instead of Atiku been commended for been matured n honourable in taking the legal path to fight for his case instead of engaging in any form of violence some set of persons with eroded sanity are jeering, condemning n urging him to just accept defeat n move on yet ironically these same set of insane persons will quickly felicitate with their favorite politicians for fighting n winning in court!, zombies will be quick to tell you that buhari going to court even when it was glaring that he lost was a mark of determination but Atiku doing same is unpatroitism, what a shameless display of hypocrisy!the judiciary must stand firm n defend her honour by been just or accept to be compromised at their own peril.
