Ebig22: d guy try.but wen i dey his age i was the best student in nigeriaGive these boys another 10 years and you (with all your degrees) will work for them. |
Suntai! Suntai!! Suntai!!! How many times did I call your name? Don't bother, you probably won't even hear. |
Very nice of them...except that op didn't tell us that about 40 churches have been torched within the past 2 weeks and nobody did anything to 'save' them. However, for these ones that 'risked' their lives in the face of violence to 'save' this church, kudos to you all. |
A predominantly moslem country but opposed to strict islamic rule... A democratically elected Head of State whose policies leans towards islamic rule... A very politically active populace(75% of them are youths) and not afraid to show it... A highly organised, powerful and pro-secular state military... A political party bent on islamising Egypt... A recipe for disaster... |
Caleboha: Years ago Mr Alsadat supervised a military parade along side his loyal deputy Mubarak. He had just signed the Camp David accord- a peace treaty with Israel after suffering an incredulous defeat in the 1972 war. Extremist, loyalists of the muslim brotherhood in the army fell off the parade and killed Alsadat in cold blood! Mubarak escaped by d whiskers- his escape will be the greatest undoing of the renegade soldiers and their sponsors for when Mubarak had found his feet again he executed the culprits, retired every soul in the military with extremist tendencies and spent 38 years after showing Egypt what it felt like to be off d hooks of fanatism and to live in peace with the west and the world. Muslim brotherhood got back in the fight, Mubarak fell. Its been nearly 2 years since he left the scene of power but his shadow still trails the everyday life of Egypt!Pally, U are the man that has the grasp of what's happening in Egypt! I like your analysis jare! |
pazienza: Ideye has the potential to be our number 9,and i'm sure there is something that keshi sees in him that most people don't.I like your analysis and it makes very serious sense. I also hope this is what Keshi is playing at... |
collynzo2: So with all the noise Kenyans make, that was the best pitch their wretched country could provide? Their president was even there. He follow plan the rubbish na. |
All I need is a victory oh! Let's shut this Kenyans up once and for all abeg. |
Tohpeh: If dipping bread into tea is bad to some ppl, then dipping bread into stew is as well badGbam!!! |
andyanders: In fact,it is eve a disgrace to have you dip your bread in your tea cup, both at home and public. That shows your upbringing and your background. Never try it.Guy/Babe, are u for real? I dunk my bread and no apologies. My background will be quite amazing to you if u get to know me but I tell u it has got nothing to do with my dunking. It's just how I prefer eating my break. Infact, dunking is my own me time... |
ifyalways: I dunk 24/7.Bread,biscuits,everything.No apologyThat's the word jare! Dunking! I dunk my favourite bread 24/7 when I'm at home and I don't regret it. If u don't like it, that's understandable but labelling it bad or wrong table manner is just laughable. Take eba for instance, why don't u but the ball of eba in ur mouth and then spoon some soup in your mouth then? Haba! We too do pass the oyibo wey bring the bread and tea sef. Well, to annoy you guys the more, I will dunk again this evening... |
Shit just got real... |
OP, good one jare! We don tire to see pix of this and that. By the way, all those wey dey tell u say u dey put yourself in danger by posting your pix and location, tell dem say we be Niger Deltans and nothing dey happen. |
Smoking is bad. There! I've said it and there ends my own hypocrisy. Assuming the chic's dad isn't the governor, I bet this pix won't make Nairaland talk less of front page so leave this chic alone to live her life and bear the consequences of her actions. Many of you hear making noise are chain smokers but of course, your dads are nobodies.... Ezinne, smoking kills and u really need to stop. My own father died due to complications that arose from his smoking lifestyle so I know what I am talking about... |
All these is because there is so much money around. Make government accountable for every penny it spends and see if all these rubbish about a particular people being at the helm of affairs die a natural death. Whatever happened to meriting a job and not because you are from a tribe or know some Oga @ the top! If a man deserves a post then by jove give him/her the job. I don't care if you are from Birnin Kebbi or Umuapu! Anyways, all these will be history as soon as feedeefee is out... |
Jazzgreen: GOD FORBID such tin in nigeria ooo. Ok, see as d CHRISTIANS win MUSLIMS 5-3, and everybody stil went home happy, safe and sound. come 9JA na. If MUSLIMS loose, i fear if d stadium would be among d properties to be burnt down, heads wil roll in every muslim street.in fact, the amount of money dat wud be needed to repair d vandalized properties wud exceed d money raised from d match tickets.dats even if fear go gree people to come watch d ball. Cos for me, i can neva come dr.each goal conceded by d muslims HAUSAs=20 heads of spectatorsGuy you funny oh. |
Josh316: Its obvious most of the people commenting on Nairaland are SEVERELY DYSLEXIC... a well detailed report was give and all they can write is the shyte that enters their head from hoarding it... sad...So because Terry was charged, somebody else should be charged as well? At least in Terry's case it was caught on camera! The Mikel the stuff was said to didnt even hear it. It was relayed to him by somebody whose first lingo isnt English! Haba!! If u lose a match, bear it and win the next one and stop clutching at straws abeg! Una own too much!!! |
Welcome to Hell... |
This is not adding up at all. Pregnant women are meant to pay N26k+ for ante-natal in University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) a government hospital. If the idea is to encourage attendance to these ante-natal classes and thereby decreasing child mortality rates, how many pregnant woman can afford this kind of money in the first place to be able to qualify for N5k from the govt? I took my wife to UPTH and you could see the crowd of pregnant women for the ante-natal orientation and half-way thru the class it was mentioned that the total amount to be paid was N26k+, more than 70% of the women just stood up and left! I'm very sure that half of those women will end up in local local midwifery homes. Instead of promising to pay N5k/monthly for attendance, I suggest they knock down the price of ante-natal registration first to say N10k to encourage attendance. |
What if I tell you that this girl was not in the flight that crashed? I stay in Port Harcourt and though doesnt know this girl in person but I just met someone who claimed to know this girl. Her surname is Jack and stays in PH too. According to this source, this girl was not on this flight and this pix was not taken just before the ill-fated flight. Pls Richie Boi, confirm you stay in PH and also confirm this girl's surname is Jack. Let's take it from there. Sorry if I have ruffled some feathers. I hope to God that I am not wrong at all. |
This news is very hilarious @ the very least! My grouse is that religious zealots here are actually fighting over this fake news. What makes the new born baby a christian? How possible is it (scientifically) to deliver a baby with a bible, koran, encyclopaedia or recharge card tightly clutched in his or her tiny hand? Why would full grown men and women fight cos of this comedy instead of laughing - the real purpose of this post? Mscccchhhhheeeewwwwww!!!!!! People should wake up please. |
In the event of the actual fire, the tashiri money you were about paying in would pale into insignificance. No matter the seriousness of what is on hand, once the alarm goes, it is expected that everyone moves to the muster point. So my dear, you dont need to be pissed about it. It is very normal. |
@Chijike, we have been afraid of this disintegration for a long time. People are dying everyday and you are afraid of splitting. Let us split so people can declare the Islamic Republic so we can rest. Haba! People will come out here and say Muslims are being killed too and all that. While I don't want to make this a religious topic, can we ask how many mosque has been bombed? When you target a place of worship, are u not asking for trouble? If you must know, the trend has been Govt buildings, Police Stations, Fed Govt Establishments, Churches. Yes Churches!!! People like El Rufai will even lie about "parishioners" caught while trying to bomb their churches just to deflect attention. El Rufai!!! That liar!!! The funniest thing is that when it starts, it is people like him that will take off first!!! We are watching. If what it takes for this country to be @ peace is disintegration, then lets do it! |
991:Nobody is better than the other. People should be treated with respect wherever they are. |
chosen04:Wicked girl ![]() |
rave2u:What of the woman that continuously and serially abuses her man? An animal? Guys, nobody can win this argument. The guy should hold his temper and the woman should hold her tongue. That's my position. |
(Real) men in different marriages no matter how "wonderful" and with experience, will know that nothing separates the man that is yet to touch his wife or the chronic wife beater because it is just a thin line that makes the difference - that moment you decide to grab your keys and walk away or that moment you felt that enough is enough. I am against wife beating cos a whole lot of women have lost their lives in the process and many women are walking around with emotional wounds cos their darling hubbies have suddenly become terrorists in their homes. I hate men that beat their wives for whatever reason same way I don't have sympathy for those women that can't hold their mouths from spewing nonsense that angers their beasts of husbands. Wife beating doesn't start overnight anyways, cos if the victim had taken time to study her "love", she would have noticed the devil within. I got married sometime 5 yrs ago and believe me, I cannot come here and tell you that it hasn't crossed my mind. In fact, I have come close a couple of times and I still can't remember how I didn't do it so for anyone that blabs about how to be gentleman and all that, my thumbs up for you but guys, it is not easy. Wether in 9ja or abroad, wife beating is bad and I am against it but the fact that you have not slapped your wife for severally crossing the line doesnt make you better than the guy that added a few backhand for corrective purposes. |
reindeer:But he was right when he said it wasn't MEND! We all know it was BH that did it! |
Umu nnem, good to know that there are Umu Aro Okeigbo in this land! This Mazi is from Nde Elekwa na Nde Okwara in Atani. So very happy to meet my people online. Ndewo nu. Ori ihe Ori Ihe, |
redsun:You easily won the quote of the day in my books man! Death is for everyone of us, weda it comes by way of otapiapia, old age or sickness like stroke. As far as I'm concerned and I quote that Sherrif that messed with Stallone in First Blood "Everybody dies". If Ojukwu dies today, it doesn't change what people feel for him around here neither will it make his enemies hate him less. Everyone will eventually die! |
bisiaet:Nwoke m, there is even no need for your first line cos situation like this cuts across societies even when the owner of the property is still breathing. Read Redsun's post and it should give u an idea of what the situation might be. By the way, what is the difference if Ikemba is in a coma? |
LagosShia:I just learnt something from you now on Shia and Sunni right now. However, not everything should be on religion. Can we not just discuss countries without discussing their religion for goodness sakes? Let us practice our faiths in our privates and discuss intelligently outside and not to bring in religion when we don't know what next to say. It is not a must that we participate in any thread. Pls don't see this as a reprimand but I hate it when people discuss issues based on ethnicity or religion. It makes me sick Once again I say congrats to Iran! |
