What I expect these enemies to ask is whether or not this assignment is constitutionally right? The election that brough Shagari's government carries with it all amount of support from south south, south east. The same support was given to Obasanjo. In fact almost every Nigerians from the above regions were singing praises for the performance of governor Fashola openly whether in the air, roads, even in the waterrine areas, because these people felt we are one united nation. When it come to the Izon man, GEJ, the west, the north want him down. As it stand now, no one will, as a result of this dislike for others, sing praises to those who are outstanding because we have realised that if a leader is not from either the west or north, he or she is highly hated and marked down for for complete run down through all available means including Boko haram. If the university held its 'Opening Ceremony of a two-day orientation programme organized by the Institution for the new academics' last week monday(25th of November), that is the same day the school resumed. It is impossible that the school recruited the new lecturers to replace the striking ones, because as at 25th of November(resumption date), the school wasn't sure of how many lecturers would turn up for work in order to decide on recruiting new lecturers to replace them and for the institution to hold its opening day for the new academics on the 25th November, it means the school must have concluded the recruitment process long before the 25th of November, so they were not recruited to replace striking lecturers. The story from Daily Post doesn't add up. Its more likely the institution only recruited 'more' lecturers.

The VC also 'commended them for being found worthy of employment after rigorous interviews'. It shows that the recruitment exercise started long ago(anyone familiar with recruitment process would know it takes a long time), making it doubtful that the were recruited to replace the striking lecturers.

What is so long in recruiting lecturers? That time is gone. This one is in the form of two fighting. What ever means one uses in emerging as winner is no business of the losser. Under this circumstance a week am sure is enough for that exercise. Be a continuous supper of this political ASUU.
