Let the fight continue. Nigerian workers deserve better wages as take home.

the labour are wasting our time. The minimum wage committee was set up Jan 31 and it is now they submit their figure. What have they been doing. Workers are waiting seriously for may 1 when the president would announce the minimum wage amount. They should not give horrendous figure that will delay the procees

Not only car price, but other commodities. I am plan of getting dingli pure water machine, but the price am getting is too much. They are still giving me price of two months ago when dollar was 1800-1900. Pls lets consider ourselves. Dollar has gone down and they are still selling goods as when dollar was high

NPFLADMIN:
Honestly, my dad knows a person in this situation.

He earns 1M as salary monthly and also has a side hustle which should be bringing him nothing less than 200k estimate. But the man still wants to leave 4 UK. And getting a job in the UK at the age of around 45+, isn't that almost impossible?

His wife is already there and she's doing care-job.

I still don't understand why he wants to move.

If I ever meet him with my dad before he leaves, I'll tell him "sir, you're making a big mistake!"

Well, he's still agile. I guess that's an advantage.

Anyways, abeg who fit dash me 17k? Anyone? Abeg. 9053920228 Opay.

you see the reason why he left. So that his will not go about the internet begging for money.

You guys should keep spreading it. We need to hold the governors accountable.

Putindbutt:
Oil marketers were collecting subsidy, it was not even a secret.

So you think president tinubu is no longer paying subsidy.

chopnaira:
Nigeria is not going to defend naira with dollars again.

dey play. Dey wine yourself.

Putindbutt:
Mention the names of those collecting the subsidy and also tell us how much he has spent to defend the naira. Moghalu is educating you here yet the wailing demon in you will never learn. Your type are the ones he referred to as "economic illiterates".

you too mentioned the name of those collecting that of buhari regime. Stop defending nonsense. Tinubu is paying subsidy. Everybody knows this

Ola9ja23:
Lack of knowledge is a disease

How would be defending Naira and you still see the currency gowing up and down every day

It won't go down more this. The dollar to a naira is pegged at 1300. It will be at this range for now

I'm typing this with tears in my eyes,
I feel like life has caught up with me, I feel like I've failed in life,
I'm 31 years with no achievement so far,
I started out being a brilliant guy in my primary school,
Went to one of the best secondary schools,
After my nysc, I stayed for a while and got a casual job,
Because of office politics and hatred, I had to resign,
Since then it's been difficult getting something tangible,
Every day I look at myself getting older with no progress,
At my age I'm supposed to be married already,
My mom has started pressuring me to get married,
Everytime I look at her, I see sorrows in her face, off course she's getting older,
How can I repay her for all the sufferings she went through for me?
Looking at her some times makes me shed tears,
I'm her only hope,
Do I blame myself for not doing yahoo when I had the opportunity to?
I see little boys doing absolutely well,
Life is not fair,
Please I really a job opportunity
Or
If you can teach me a skill /knowledge of anything that can really fetch me money especially online,

I will really appreciate your help,

MrProlific95:
Yes, it will be taken to NASS if passed, Tinubu will sign it into law as Minimum wage Act, 2024

can all this be done next month. Can the NASS pass it and tinubu sign it next month

MrProlific95:
Yes, it will be taken to NASS if passed, Tinubu will sign it into law as Minimum wage Act, 2024

Ok thanks

In 2018, the then president buhari approved the increase of the minimum wage to 30000 thousand and the national assembly passed into law that every 5 years the minimum wage should be increased. That 5 years will be April this year.
I want to ask, now that is a law that every five years the minimum wage should be increased, if president tinubu approved it next month (April), will it be taken to the national assembly again for it to be passed again into law

It is becoming tiring. Are some people purposely killing the vibe of nl

@seun the current set of mod are killing this site especially the mod for sports. Before now you would have seen a well documented analysis about this arsenal vs FC Porto match. There would be traffic in the thread. But look at how dry it is. Pls seun do something

OVIHINNO:
Maybe minimum wage should be reduced to N10,000 then prices will come down right?

I like this question ooooo

TheOldGods:
why can't? They are building 15billion apartment for vice president. Wike is doing that. Is that what our problem is? I'm other to lavish money.

thank you my brother. Some Nigerian don't know that this is the structure of Nigeria. We spent money lavishly. So those glamouring for make Nigeria a exporting nation. Build Nigeria. It cannot work for now. It is the system. So we live according to the system. When we lavishly spend money on senators and cos, but when it comes to the Nigeria workers, we start having protests before the govt listen to us

To live a fulfilled life is to live for Christ
