Hope he has no case file with EFCC. Otherwise, he's blowing hot for nothing.

@OP
My prayer for you is that you meet a hardworking, humble, caring and trustworthy woman who genuinely wants to partner with you to build the home you'll love to have. Loneliness is a terrible thing in old age. It's good to have a family though I respect your choice if you've put everything in proper perspective.

There are good and bad men and women everywhere. Believing that you can't find a good person is to accept defeat without making efforts. One problem that I've seen with some men is that they want to marry their fantasy, which, more often than not, isn't the right choice. God will surely guide you.

I'm wondering why he's saying this now that Diya is dead. I've never heard this story.

Politics › Re: Bala Mohammed To Wike: You Are A Noisemaker Entertaining The Public & Media by delpee(f): 2:32pm On Jan 24, 2025
Maybe, but Wike has done so much better in terms of infrastructure development than Bala Mohammed who was once FCT minister. Probably Bala didn't have the same opportunity. Still, I remember that EFCC charged him and his son for some reasons after he left office.

A lot of criminals use religion as a front to cover up their atrocities. I can't respect anyone simply because he gave himself the Pastor title. By their fruits shall they be known.
Politics › Re: Mother, Child, Others Killed In Chibok After Vehicle Drives Over Bomb by delpee(f): 11:43am On Jan 22, 2025
The result you get when you grant criminals amnesty with rewards and leave the victims to lick their wounds. Injustice breeds more crime. There's no punishment for their wickedness and no true remorse so the cycle continues.

eldoradoxx:
When will Wike start building hospitals in Abuja, when is he going to talk about pipe borne water in a Federal Capital city that less than 10% of its residents connected to pipe borne water and the rest relying on underground water) boreholes and wells? When is Wike preparing to buy and instal electricity transformers qnd transmission lines to upgrade electricity infrastructure. When is he building new school or renovating old ones, when is he stocking up the schools with books, computers, laboratory equipments etc to aid teaching and learning., the questions go on and on. Am saying this because Wike as Governor of Rivers built and commissioned mainly roads and left other critical areas of development unattended. He has started it in Abuja whose number priority seems not to be roads.
If former Ministers (apart from El Rufai who restored the masterplan, and started the development of new areas by creating mass housing estates,) did half of what Wike is doing, FCT would have developed faster. The rural areas were totally neglected. Wike is addressing that by providing access roads which will help the people.

Of course, he needs to address other issues in due course.
Politics › Re: Adigun Abass Struggles To Speak English In The House Of Representatives by delpee(f): 7:23pm On Jan 19, 2025
The result of the later day "promote everybody free education" system. Awo's own was merit based. If you couldn't cope with secondary education, the commercial schools and technical colleges (known as trade centres then) were there as an option. Even a Pry 6 school leaver of old could write and speak well.

Very sad indeed!

Seun osewa dosn't understand the humongous damage this ethnic slants is doing to his enterprise... It will begin to manifest in no time.. except he quickly puts a check on it. I mean nairaland that used to be highly educative platform where people come to engage and gain new productive knowledge has been suddenly reduced to petty ethnic and bigotry platform where charlatans reign supreme with erroneous distorted schisms..
You're on point. I joined NL after being a guest for a while years ago. It had good values and people of great intellect who were objective in their analysis of issues. I didn't see tribal sentiments flooding threads. I also remember the charity angle.

It's a great pity things turned out this way.

Can our law enforcement just arrange ritual murderers for the past 1 decade and execute them at the beach for Nigerians to see? This will be a perfect example and will restore sanity to a great level.
Abi o. That's how armed robbery was reduced to the barest minimum in the 70s to 80s. Quite crude but sometimes we need to go to the extreme to solve intractable problems. Many of the convicts will still be eating free watery beans at our expense for years because governors refuse to sign their death warrants.

Timi should be sentenced and killed. No delay, no technicalities.

I feel so sad for young ladies. Life has become so unsafe. You can't even trust a gospel singer. This craze for I'll gotten wealth has gotten out of hand.

Most uninformed Nigerians here don't know that:-
- it's a predominantly Christian community
- these terrorists are serving the Anglo-American/ french plan of continuous destabilising of West Africa
- destabilising the food base of West Africa, to prepare us for GMOs.

You all don't understand.

The evil NGOs use satellite mapping to locate farmers in order to murder them.
Just like rice farmers being killed in Haiti & GMOrice from America.

You all don't understand what is going on.
Hmmm! Terrible if so.

Shouldn't we review the amnesty being given to known but seemingly repentant terrorists whose only mission is to steal, kill and destroy?

Both of them are unwise. The lady for sowing seeds of discord in her marriage. Inviting an ex is unnecessary. Her husband will find out about the ex and probably feel uncomfortable about his wife's relationship with the guy with the way he's spending.

The guy because he's spending money just to make a point that he's now rich. Wasteful in my opinion. Makes it look like he's insecure and immature. He should just move on.

Coming to SW was a great mistake. Yorubas will crush them with everything they have. I could recall when some militants were Kidnapping & killing in some creeks of Ikorodu, Yoruba rallied round and called on GEJ to deploy jets to the area.
When Nigerian Airforce deployed Ariel bombardments on them, they never came back again. Nobody was saying, Nigeria govt was killing our people or civilians. When it comes to insecurity, all hands must be on deck.
True, I remember this very well. No one talked about collateral damage. The bombardment was massive and total as we got to hear.

When terrorism persists, the people and the leaders are usually involved.

Orsu people, you people will go into extinction if you do not capture this bastards trying to send you people into extinction.

Find them, these assailants, some of them are your son's and daughters. Hope Uzodinma has left you to your fate. The politicians from there have left you to your fate.

These riff-raff UmuOma killers must be resisted, not with cowardice. But by going after them and their family members wherever they live on the surface of the earth.

Go after them in your bushes, get surveillance night vision drones, motion detectors and invest in intelligent security ops.

These riff-raffs tormenting you live with you. You know them, they know you. The late Odumodu was from Ihitenansa

Set up a security committee made up of your brave and Elite sons and daughters, ban the the UmuEkwensus, look for them like criminals, embrace and work Security forces and their higher firepower and save your lives.

Ask your the evil UmuEkwensus to repent via amnesty and have them chased into abyss of they won't.

If you don't act now, Orsu will go into extinction.
Thanks. Some clarity here. May God touch their hearts to stop this meaningless war.
Education › Re: Police Arraign Stella Nwadigbo For Indecent Treatment Of Child In Lagos by delpee(f): 7:05pm On Jan 09, 2025
A well trained teacher knows that children don't learn at the same pace. Some are slow learners and one requires a lot of patience to see them through. Anyone who doesn't have deep love for kids and a passion for teaching shouldn't be in that profession. Sadly, our schools also don't usually have enough resources that playfully guide a child's learning process.

TRCN needs to do more in terms of teacher training.

Too much beating does damage to a child physically and psychologically. Those slaps were so hot! Hope others including parents learn from this.
Politics › Re: Influx Of Bandits: Afenifere Asks Governors To Beef Up Security In South-West by delpee(f): 6:46pm On Jan 09, 2025
If they're truly in Fashola, the earlier they're dislodged, the better. That is supposed to be a farming cum agric-industrial zone. Bandits in that location spells doom for progress. The Oyo-Ogbomoso- Oke Ogun axis will also not be safe.

Hope that's not the reason why we're having all kinds of Alfas preaching extremism in the SW lately. That's how it usually starts...BH/ISWAP for instance. Seyi Makinde should focus on a solution as a matter of urgency.
