P.S. In the first place, most universities in Canada waive the English proficiency requirements from Nigerian applicants, so what's the point of attending the school again?

Get in contact with the embassy (you could visit them) and check on the status of your application. Keep in mind that most medicals take up to 3wks before you are called,

You are obviously mixing with the wrong crowd. In GTA, there are different of cliques Nigerians (just like any other nationality/background) from different works of life and backgrounds. In my profession, I meet and deal with different people on a daily basis but my closest pals in N.America are Nigerians who I only got to know when I relocated to this part of the world. We rub minds, we laugh, we celebrate, we mourn.  .  .together. You just have to settle down and look for the right clique that suits you with same goals/aspirations and you'd be fine. Goodluck.
