Honestly unless you live abroad and change location, you would continue living with this hopeless dogma and wailing endlessly

Arguments with you is worthless, your views holds zero, I mean absolute no importance

You were preprogrammed with false ideology of good or bad, archiac old views of modern changing world and you are far lost in that veiws that it would need you few years abroad to appreciate Governor Dapo Abiodun's liberal veiws same as Okowa , Yahaya Bello , Rochas Okorocha, Otedola, Terry Waya, Dele Momodu, Ben Murray Bruce , Ekiti State first lady and others who all watch Bbnaija and appreciate such youthful platform

You are still stuck on NTA mentality so I don't blame you
I live abroad and I am based in Ottawa, Canada FYI.

That is why your views to me are totally flawed and ill-conceived. Very typical of shallow minded and sycophantic peddlers.

You can never see things progressively because you are denial and plagued. Your views are a typical reflection of how backwards many African societies have become.

Did Ogun State stop youth capacity building and development at anytime?!

Ogun State just got a famous trending youth who can represent them in character to act as their ambassador a buffer between the youth and the government and the responsibility came with a contract and benefits

.
Nothing has made the news on that regard. No such news has emerged that shows Ogun state is serious about youth capacity building. In fact through out his administration, the only youth related news that we know is his appointment of Laycon as youth ambassador.

Majority of the Youths that voted for Laycon were from Lagos. So your rationale does not hold and your insistence on this argument on the Governor's behalf only shows your delusional position.

It would be smater for Ogun state to focus on capacity building so youths with innovative ingenuity can become Mark Zuckerbergs, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs....

Well Dapo Abiodun is a Billionaire and a Forbes millionaire in Dollars and he has more sense when it comes to what to do to generate revenue and youth participation in governance than you or anybody you've known in your journey in life

Dapo Abiodun just made a choice to make Laycon who got large percentage of 90 million Africans vote in BBnaija to represent Ogun youth as an ambassador

If I was INEC chairman I'll also eat the humble pie and ask BBNAIJA organisers and Deloitte Anderson Auditing Consultancy to tell us how they got 90 million votes from the whole Africa and managed it so well that Southafricans , Ghanians all voted without thinking of corruption in Nigeria

If I was also minister of youth and sports, or information and tourism, I'll start thinking of how to develop similar program that can generate such billions in revenue for NTA
Being a billionaire does not exempt or cover your shallow minded nature.

Having misplaced priorities has nothing to do with wealth rather it is a thing of principle.

You are a typical misguided youth and I don't blame you for your shallowness. You are just a victim of maladministration and poor goverence.

We have people like you in the majority. Who cannot think independently nor show good judgment on national matters. People like you keep complaining in silence but yet vote in leaders that sabotage your future.

SMH!! Nonsense!!

I think the shallow minded one here is you for not seeing the bigger picture

Sensible California State Governor gave Donald Trump an Hollywood walk of Fame for his participation and creation of reality show the apprentice sensible Americans that understands value of Entertainment applauded, the Governor gave the honour to Kardashians and Jersey shore Reality Star, Play boy mansion owner was rewarded too even when he is just a softcore magazine pornographer

The difference is Americans are open to development through every entertainment,. But some black people are just cursed beyond repair

.
On the contrary, the shallow minded lost soul is you and your likes.
Take a look at California. Before they go about celebrating entertainers they had built the Silicon Valley and they host the largesr technological locality on the planet.
They created a system where any youth with creative ideas, with the will to actualize it is given 100% support.

They also created a system that rewards and encourages people with startups providing them enough capital to grow their businesses.

That is why in California the wealthiest locality is the Silicon Valley and not Hollywood.

Is Laycon the best entertainer from Ogun state?

No!!

He just participated in a reality show..... And won!!

So that qualifies him to be a Youth Ambassador!!

Going by your argument, you are completely denial and delusional to say the least.

You are not only shallow minded but totally misguided.

You are talking about sane leaders but we don't have them many in Nigeria. The ones we have key into anything that can win them selfish benefits. His calculation most likely is to use the popularity of the young man as an influencer for his govt., and it will work out for him cos of the society we are in. You have valid points but I only pointed out the selfish reasons a governor will want to reward an individual this much.
Truly shallow!!

He does not need Laycons popularity. What for?

The Governor won the popularity he got from his victory during the election. How many people in Ogun state have access to BBNaija?
This is nothing more than another poor judgment by our shallow minded leaders with no substance.
Any serious minded Governor will not make this mistake. Because the average youth would see BBNaija as a means to fulfillment and not their education or tgeir creative capabilities.

I weep fior Africa

A typical example of poor Judgment.

Leaders in this part of the world reward ingenuity and creative prowess. That is why we have likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates etc... Young minds encouraged by societies to thrive in their meaningful creative aspirations and not some superficial vain glorious nonsense.

That is why sane societies grow economically and plagued societies like here struggle to provide power 24/7 to it's people.

That is why we are the 10th largest supplier of Crude oil but we still import petrol from non-crude oil countries.

This poor judgment is the bane of our economic liberation.

I weep for this country.

Think about Entertainment as a big business and perhaps as a black human you can understand development
You are very shallow minded. I won't even bother arguing with you. The entertainment industry in Nigeria achieved great heights without any meaningful contributions from any government.

The greatest among our entertainers achieveed their mark independently. They have put Nigerian entertainment on the global map.

What did Laycon do? Attend a reality show and now he is the Youth Ambassador...

It is very sad that Nigerians think like you. Very hopless!! I weep.

Just like a typical Nigerian politician, he decided to take advantage of what he perceives as the priority of majority of Nigerians and a popular movement so he can earn much praise for celebrating their new found idol laycon. It's the values of society our politicians trend with, and since today most Nigerians values BBnaija madly with so much goodwill showered on participants, the governor had to key into what satisfies his citizens. Afterall if laycon leads a campaign for him, he is likely to be voted massively. So the man is not funny, he has done his calculations.
I would call it a miscalculation and a very poor judgment. What real leaders do in sane societies is celebrate ingenuity and innovative/creative youth who show the skills to impact the economy, science and technology, and overall development. But it appears in the whole Ogun state not a single person fits that criteria.

A shameful judgment. Nigeria is plagued with retrogrades. That is why things just keeps getting worse.

cool

Let him see it in another veiw

Laycon is the best graduating student in his department in UNILAG, he is a rapper and a Big Brother Winner,

Dapo Abiodun needed a Youth Ambassador, who is loved by Ogun indegenes and youth, someone that can communicate in their youth language, some one who knows the pain of been a youth from the ghetto

For 71 days Laycon was under camera 24/7 he didn't go nude, he didn't fight anybody even when provoked he laughed and moved on, not once did he engage in frivolous or mediocre activity, all he did was talk about his life, exercise, meditate through yoga, complete his daily task even when he knows he can't win

I am very certain if this man had 24/7 camera on him for a week, everyone would be surprised at who the Hypocrite is

Nigerian Entertainment sector has contributed alot of direct and indirect jobs to poor youths like Laycon without connection of getting white collar jobs, IF WE STUPIDLY KILL BIG BROTHER ENTERTAINMENT WHILE WATCHING EPL, UEFA Champions League, LaLiga, BOLLYWOOD, WAKANDA AND HOLLYWOOD we would only loose revenue

.
No wonder this country will remain plagued and things become worse. With people like you forming the majority results to an overall collective poor judgment.

It is so sad that misplaced priorities are a commonplace on this continent. It is hopeless.

Clown!! I have never seen so many contradictions in an argument...

Have you read from any of my posts that I am taking sides with anyone?
On the contrary, you were the one singing a come-back for Daddy Freeze for reasons best known to you.

When it comes to godly matters it is only wise to let God be the judge, for He alone is perfect and just to execute judgment on his anointed ones.

Daddy Freeze had decided to assist God in judging his anoited ones and has become a self-proclaimed Judge. But he fails to see the rot that he drags along his trail.

It is written in the Bible: Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

In secular terms it is said he that liveth in glass house should avoid playing with stones.

It is very surprising that in this part of the world, we find it very difficult to think or rationalize the best options when it comes to things that matters.

See you feeling so right, quoting scriptures like you know something. But deep down you are shallow and a complete ignoramus.

Your Daddy Freeze should focus on his life and career. He should build a legacy for his children so that they don't end up seeking for jobs at over 40 years old like him and probably you in the future.

And you, rather than spending ample time typing nonsensicals on Nairaland, you should use your time on developing a pathway for yourself to be successful.

Clown!!

Send her back to her parents home and provide just enough for your daughter and let your baby mama depend on her parents.

Otherwise you will live to regret it.
