PoliticsRe: Obasanjo In Redemption Camp? by denex: 9:12pm On Aug 13, 2007
Redemption is not for the saved but for the sinners.

If the man said CAN my foot, then he said it. CAN is the Christian Association of Nigeria. A Union. At least he didn't say God my foot.

When will you realise that OBJ is no more your president and has his life to live.

The man did the best anybody could do, and as time goes on, while Yar'Adua continues on the framework he built, we will know what OBJ did for this country.

I will not go as far as making those kinds of NASty statements but how you go talk say you see wild animal inside aeroplane for Nigeria.

In quality control, there Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP). At what point do you think this scorpion got into the plane?

And when a pilot was so inexperienced that he didn't know how to close a cockpit window, why didn't you just come down from the plane and trek to where you're going? Honestly, I do not intend this as a joke. Do not risk your life like that again. A pilot that basically knew nothing about the ABCs of a plane flew you? You no like life.
PoliticsRe: Olokola LNG And The Niger Delta Question by denex: 8:47pm On Aug 13, 2007
Yes of course. Even all this kidnapping is a facade carried out by disorganised gangs.

The main activity of MEND and their sponsors and accomplices is Crude Oil Bunkering. At a black market price of $50 per barrel, these freedom bunkerers make $15 million from bunkering about 300,000 bpd of crude everyday. In 365 days (weekends and public holidays included, because dem serious for the matter pass goverment work), that is a $5 billion industry.

Kidnapping is for the foot-soldiers to make some pocket money and to divert attention from the main action. Freedom fighting is just a blatant lie. A justification for cult clashes perhaps.

PoliticsRe: Olokola LNG And The Niger Delta Question by denex: 8:29pm On Aug 13, 2007
Well, the good thing is that over the decades when coal was as cheap as $10 per ton, we did not exploit ours but now that world reserves have depleted, it's $80 per ton and by the time we are fully mining ours, we may be selling it to a market of scarcity at prices of about $100 per ton.

But the thing is that we have to start massive excavation of coal before 2010 because if Europe, America and Asia do not find new sources of coal as soon as possible, they will start shutting down heavy coal machinery and power plants, turning to other forms of energy.

Anyway, that still pays us since it means we can buy these machinery and powerplants cheaply for use with our coal.

Coal is voraciously consumed in the developed world O! Na only for Africa we don see coal finish.

PoliticsRe: Olokola LNG And The Niger Delta Question by denex: 8:14pm On Aug 13, 2007
1ton of coal = $80

Nigeria has 700 million tonnes of proven coal deposits and about 3 billion metric tonnes of reserves.

$240 billion in total. The UK has more than one 2,000 MW power plant. The USA has several. In this month alone 3 people have been killed and 6 other people buried alive in coal mines in the USA. If coal wasn't valuable, why were they risking their lives there. Liquified coal is the new form being used by ultramodern plants. Enugu has the highest deposits but there are about 6 other states.

I just checked the statistics and European countries are the top 10 most impotent countries while West Africans are the top 10 most Potent. (sexually)

why this inverse corelation?
PoliticsRe: Olokola LNG And The Niger Delta Question by denex: 6:54pm On Aug 13, 2007
@ono

Will you say because Egypt on the other hand doesn't have extremely large deposits of Crude Oil, the Nile Delta is not located in it?

Or because there are no Ijaw people there then it is not a true Delta.

You people have just confirmed Lucky Igbinedion as one of the greatest philosophers of our time deserving a nobel price.

So the most impotent country in the world must also be the most sufferhead country in the world which should be somewhere in the EU, Canada or USA.

Tomorrow una go tell Nigerian Government to provide banking services too. Well, I won't be surprised because somebody in this forum has demanded that government distribute cash among citizens. Another has even expressed desire for the Federal Government to put food on Nigerians' tables.

they started this thing since that Rhode Island pyrotechnics fire incident. With a capacity of more than 300 people about than 90 died and 190 people survived.

Since that 2003 between 20-50 people are still missing and forgotten this this very day that I type this post. And since then, politicians have been playing with death tolls outside of battlefields. I can understand lying about military casualties in Vietnam and Somalia, but accidental civilian casualty? I doesn't make sense to me.

I didn't know all this. So during the time of Bendel state, some part was in the Niger-Delta, some part was not.

I beg to know whether the Imo River and the Benin River are part of what makes up the Niger-Delta.

Until you stop thinking of the Niger-Delta as a tribe with oil deposits, you will continue to have a problem. Employ the maps and geographical details you're administering for us to yourself.

e dey vex me say 9 people die on the first day, and addition 5 discovered since then, that's 14 plus the "missing missing" which is 18, that gives 32. Then add the official missing 3 remaining. That's almost 35, possibly more.

Why America go dey lie say these people no die? Afterall, they weren't murdered why all the lies to create some kind of Utopia that doesn't exist.

Let them say the truth and let the devil be shy. Wetin sef?

Of course the man is an excellent politician nobody can deny that.

I remember during the Bush re-election, there was an Al Qaeda tape released 4 days before the elections by no other than Mr Laden himself where bin Laden called on Americans not to vote for George Bush. I say see political strategy. That was just a scheme used to push Americans more to vote George Bush.

Then there was also the issue missing laptops stolen from the Bush campaign team by their opponents. Story!

where have you come from again? I know I've seen this ID before.
Anyway, can you provide evidence or at least a link to the daily disasters happening in Nigeria?
I may need to tell you that generally, this past weekend, dozens of people were killed in America, including 3, a Pastor and 2 members of his congregation slaughtered in church on Sunday with several other worshippers injured.

Please show me where I called anybody unpatriotic because they didn't share in my "unappealing enjoyment of the deaths"? And what kind of debate do you bring to substantiate your argument? Smoking of cigarettes.

Please if you don't know what is being discussed, how it is being discussed, and how to contribute, why don't you just go to a website where you can cross your fingers and watch some porn.

He better go back and make sure he undoes all the nonsense he had a hand in especially his advocacy for warrantless wiretaps.

The man is not leaving because of the CIA leak or any other misfortune of the government. He is very happy with the way the government is going. He just realised that the government has about a year left so he's quitting now to save being label as a supporter of all the Bush Administration's crimes.

For God sake you guys should realise that this man is the ultimate politician. He doesn't want to die with a sick camel that's why he just stopped riding it.

Since he lost his shares in Enron, he has gone to recoup them in government. No wonder dem just dey approve billions of dollars of USAID to Africa yet nothing dey reach ground. Criminals.
PoliticsRe: 'All Nigerians Are Corrupt', Says Oprah Winfrey by denex: 2:25pm On Aug 13, 2007
@ell77

Oprah did not start shouting South Africa because of her love for Africans her true liaison is with the White South Africans. Even the girls' prison/school she built self is just a publicity stunt. I wonder how she forgot to mention that she was polishing the image of one of the most criminal places on the surface of the earth.
I wonder if Oprah Winfrey mentioned that she built her reformatory in the plush capital city for the rich rather than the poor she claims to be helping.
I wonder why she forgot to state that parents of the children she imprisoned in her private African zoo are complaining about the place. The children are crying that they are starving and suffering.

over there in the USA, Oprah does not even associate herself with African Americans let alone help real Africans.

I'm not a madman, I am not on some kind of hallucinogenic, all I want is for the truth to be known. Since you have confirmed that you never knew 9 people were confirmed dead on the day of the incident before the figure was later dressed up to 4, I will give you a link or two.

I hope you are now clear that these earlier 9 dead was not a figment of my imagination. From the USA to India to Australia now to Nigeria. Do you still believe that it's all just my hallucination?

I saw with my own naked eyes the chief medic in charge mounting the podium and announcing 9 people confirmed dead. Only to wake up in the morning and the story had been polished. Thank God for the internet, some people saved it. If not, I would have certified myself.

Funny enough, they refuse to count the people working under the bridge. Maybe they are hispanics or black people sha.

@BABEELOVE

At least if 1000 people die in Nigeria, the government will say 1000 people died. Not yankee where 35 people will die and they will say it is only 4.

Relax ke? Oh so they have their own problems yet they concentrate on hours?

We too, why can't we have our own problems and concentrate on theirs.

So who is advocating for a one-sided bias now eh? Who is clamouring for double standards in favour of the US now?

I'm do not turn the other cheek!

A couple of days ago there was a flood in Lagos through a dam at the Ogun border. Unfortunately, 4 Nigerians lost their lives and 300 people had to abandon their flooded houses.

What did we hear on CNN? (as usual, playing action themed soundtracks): "20 killed and tens of thousands fleeing Lagos as floods ravaged the Nigerian state."

I had to wipe my eyes and think, this same Lagos wey I dey so dey catch my trips? Tens of thousands? Haba?

I had to switch to local news to hear what really happened then straight to google to confirm.

So people go dey lie against us and you won't let me tell the truth about them. Abeg free me O! That one has even left the level of bias. It is now trias.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians In Diaspora Badmouth Nigeria by denex: 10:10am On Aug 13, 2007
Make una dey here dey FEAR.

We are already advocating for the Federal Government to use the new Digitalised Nigerian Passport as a means to register all Real Nigerians.

Passports should only be offered in Nigeria. So all those people that are naija-for-mouth will be rendered without citizenship, so that when Nigeria don better, they will need to apply for Nigerian citizenship just like Lebanese, Togolese and Indians.

All this "Nigeria is useless" people will soon be turned country-less.
