Fashiola's wife is running a campaign against indecent exposure and "nude dressing" for the past few weeks, then suddenly, policemen start arresting these girls. I wonder if these two events could be linked in any way.


Please leave all those plenty theories of schemes and plots. I don't even know the party Jimi Agbaje belongs to. If I was out against the ACTION CONGRESS, I would be claiming the elections were rigged not that the man is dull.
Getting Fashiola impeached does not remove the AC from power. So stop theorising of a higher plot here. There is none.

Fashiola just cannot impose his family values on Lagosians. What next? Will he later ban chicken and burger because his family doesn't eat them and because they can cause high blood pressure and even death?

I just want to show you how difficult it is to define what is decent dressing among women. In some parts of the world even exposing the hair and the ankles are indecent.


Then what about decent dressing in men? Should men be allowed to wear sleeveless shirts in public?

Should men wear shorts? Or sports wear that can show their penis dangling?



Decent and Indecent dressings are difficult to define. And even when they have been defined, they must come into law before we should support them.

Shebi the law is the people's rule which they willingly choose to live by? If it is passed into law with due consultation of the members of the House with their constituencies and a majority vote shows that most Lagosians want this law, then why not?

we are in a Federal system of government here. If you want military rule in your state or local government, it can be arranged as long as you follow due process. But you can't impose you will or desires on the rest of Nigerians. Like I said, it's a Federated system.

The people of your local government can go and tap Abacha or Saddam in his grave and raise him up to be your leader. No body will complain. You forget that during the last administration, there was a military government in Ekiti State. So if you want it so much, you could just get it. But remember say military rule no get tenure O!

Yar'Adua said elections were marred by irregularities. If somebody was slapped at a polling booth, that is an irregularity. If five midgets came to vote at one polling station, that is an irregularity.

The man did not say he rigged or sponsored rigging or benefitted from rigging.

And let's be honest, did anyone expect that Yar'Adua needed to rig to defeat Atiku, Buhari, Chris or Utomi in those elections?


Secondly, as per voting for individuals, unfortunately, all the candidates came on party platforms so it was impossible for us to bypass party and vote individual.

I think INEC should provide a means for independent candidates to contest but it would cost the Commission so much.

apart from suicide, I see death as a natural part of life. Everything that has a beginning has an end.

I'm not afraid to die, nor would I want people to bother themselves too much when I die.
I use my life to do as much as I can so that when I die, people will not say "had it been".

It's not like humans are an endangered species that I will now be alarmed when a couple of people die. It's just nature running its course.

However, when something like suicide occurs, I am really bothered because it takes a lot for any living organism to take it's own life. It is unnatural. That is what gets me concerned not all these people that put themselves in harm's way for financial benefit.

You are a Nigerian with that fixated mentality and it will be the end of you.

You left Nigeria to go and struggle. Or are you telling me that you went to the USA to display your Opulence? Not everybody is struggling like you.

Nigerians who do not have anything struggle abroad do not travel there as a symbol. Unless the ones that have achieved this your state of higher reasoning.


Besides, I know of poor Nigerians that have travelled to the USA for live saving operations.
