PoliticsRe: Details Of Goodluck Jonathan's Assets by denex: 8:24am On Aug 09, 2007
This man really has a great deal of Goodluck with "gifts"

meanwhile this pointblank news, why are they trying so hard to justify this unsubstantiated enormous amount of money.

Whoever said you could round off N295 million to N200 million (N.2 billion).

And how can somebody that just came out of 25 years of civil service be comparing the ratio of his wealth with another person whose family empire has been known for ages?

Abi Ebele inherit these gifts too from his father and brother?

How can any sane hardworking man buy a BMW which cost his entire salary for 8 years as deputy and state governor?

Ebele must hang.

@wendymanda

you need to be harsh so that the person knows you're not playing around or trying to act hard to get. You have to make it clear that no! Get thee away from me and take your stupid love someplace else!

That is how it's done.

Don't start telling the guy "O you're a nice guy and, " unless you're trying to lead him on.

It was this same OMPADEC that Goodluck worked in for about 3 to 5 years before becoming deputy governor. Interesting.

@texazzpete

My guy,

was it not you that tried to downplay the mass casualty of Hiroshima by comparing it with people that starved to death in Leningrad.

The fact that people starve to death in Zimbabwe, does it excuse South Africa to slaughter humans in Egypt? Oh no, it doesn't. Because they are not the USA.

You are the pitiful slowpoke in here? Don't think you have the monopoly of insults.

What kind of mistakes are people making when they say:
"The habitation of these people on the Island will afford most valuable ecological radiation data on human beings."

Did you read the part of the report where it said:

On March 1 1954, Bikini Atoll weather conditions were reported as unfavourable and "task force 7" directs several US ships to move 20 miles south to remove them from the expected fallout zone. But the local inhabitants of the Island were left behind?

Are you blind or you just choose to be blind when it comes to the bestial horrors the USA has inflicted on humanity?

TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by denex: 6:41pm On Aug 08, 2007
I really believe Big Brother Nigeria was far tighter than this. Even the inte itself doesn't step up to the one used in BBN.

And why the "Bleep" do these motherfuckers curse so much. It's got a fucking PG 16 rating for Christ sake.

For Lerato remembering my favourite album of all time, Lauryn Hill's Miseducation, I give her much credit. For mentioning Nothing Even Matters - Lauryn Hill &grin'Angelo. That is so tight!

But why the hell does she curse so much? Plus her body is really ugly!

@mamajama

My father not only knew all the rules of the game, he also prevented everybody in and around his department from playing it.

When my popsie died come see junior workers celebrating the opening of new opportunities. The man just held them down for years without "chopping", without allowing them to chop.

They hated him O! They hated him very much.

You can imagine how I feel after other people have sacrificed to keep Nigeria sane, only for Badluck to enter and start squandering hundreds of millions.

Even if this N295 million is his true worth, it is outrageously much for a man that has earned less than N16 million in the past 8 years, being his highest salary level ever.

If he has more than N295 million and he did not declare it, it is absolutely irrelevant. N295 million in 25 years is enough to implicate him and send him to jail for a long time.

Since his total salary since 1999 to 2007 is N16 million, then he had N279 million before coming into Government.
That must mean that within the 16 years between 1982 and 1998, he earned N17 million annually. Big Boy!

I'm sure they paid him N17 million for his service year too.

Bloody thief.

Well, just finished watching her diary room session a couple of minutes ago and it wasn't bad. She was kinda real.

Also, she doesn't look that bad when the is really close to her. But from afar, she looks like an idol (gunki).

This idiot Richard guy does not know how to obey simple instructions what is wrong with him? Is he mentally deficient?
PoliticsRe: Dress Code In Benue; Ladies Banned From Wearing Trousers! by denex: 5:55pm On Aug 08, 2007
Men, those foreign feminist groups will not help much but will cause further harm by giving Nigeria very bad publicity. VERY BAD PUBLICITY.

Abeg let's tackle this on our own.

This man finished NYSC in 1982 and basically became a Lecturer from then till 1993.

Went back to school from 1993 to 1995.

Then he continued working for the Government till 1998 when he saw the opportunity for Governance.

Since 1999 was a Deputy Governor till 2005 when he became a full fledged Governor.

So how does a Civil Servant make N295,000,000 in 25 years?

My own father was a Senior Staff in the Central Bank of Nigeria for more than 20 years and he didn't have N2 million.

Abi was Jonathan being paid millions in the 1980s?
PoliticsRe: Goodluck Declares Assets by denex: 5:03pm On Aug 08, 2007
Let's even assume that he declared all his assets, N290 million is too much for him considering he earned about N16 million in the past 8 years.

So because he's hearing ex-businessmen calling millions and billions, him self just dey call hundreds of millions anyhow. Make devil solder him mouth there!

He doesn't know he's in a New Nigeria. He will tell us the work he did to get that kind of money.
Criminal!
PoliticsRe: Goodluck Declares Assets by denex: 4:47pm On Aug 08, 2007
This idiot Jonathan just nailed his own coffin by becoming vice President. Does he think it is that local democracy that he and Alams were running in Bayelsa that he will come to impose on Nigeria?

First of all, it is obvious he is lying. When his wife toys with more than N100 million at a time?

Secondly, even as he is lying, he didn't lie well. Let's say over the past 8 years, he has earned an average of N2 million as salary annually, that is a total of N16 million. I really hope he has a credible business he was running before he became deputy governor and finally, governor.

This na the kain guy wey them dey give long rope so that e go use am tie himself well. Miseducated slowpoke.

I hope this news is true sha. Please where is Donald Duke O! Let him come and replace that blood caricature of a statue.
PoliticsRe: 90 Nigerian Women Arrested For Indecent Dressing In Lagos. by denex: 4:21pm On Aug 08, 2007
@Afam

what the British did is illegal but that does not mean we should support an illegal act here in Lagos too. If Britain is not practicing democracy, it doesn't mean Nigeria should dip into utter decay.

Except a girl bares her nipples or her vagina in public, I don't see what she has done wrong?
Unless a man reveals his penis in a public place, he has committed no crime.

So why should such people punished when they flouted no law?

Are you now saying that the police should arrest people for breaking inexistent laws?

Abeg, let the show continue jare. We came to see a reality show and that is what we're going to get. In fact, when this show ends, I'm buying the ULTIMATE SEARCH franchise and taking it to China or India where a REAL reality show will be appreciated.

The Ghanaian guy is really cool though. Very well spoken, confident and straight up. The guy is cool. I give it to him.

That Richard guy should go first. The guy is an erratic character and he doesn't know what Big Brother is all about.

Big Brother is all about control, it's just like the matrix and it aims to see who can tolerate control the most. In this Big Brother, just like the Matrix, "neo" is not wanted and "morpheus" is very much hated by the system. So big brother may have to manipulate thing a little to kick him out of the house as early as possible.

Hope you guys know that everything is not by votes. There comes a time when Big Brother has to make things happen for the greater good.

As per the Ofunneka girl, she just has to stay in the house as long as she doesn't add insult to our injury of her being there in the first place by becoming the footmat of the house.

I'm feeling that Portuguese chick too. She's not acting too out of place. Shey she's from angola? She's cool.

That big gorilla guy does not seem confident at all. He behaves like a slave. A bloody house nigger.

All the other chicks are cool except the Nigerian. Abeg next year, we'll boycott this Big Brother thing before dem go use Yekini represent us. Big Brother Nigeria don do us.
PoliticsRe: 90 Nigerian Women Arrested For Indecent Dressing In Lagos. by denex: 3:39pm On Aug 08, 2007
@Afam,

It doesn't really matter if your end is being achieved or not. As long as it is done unjustly, we should not condone it.

Do not support dictatorship when it seems in favour of you now because it will one day turn against you and others will not stand up for you too.

Modest dressing can be encouraged through several means. Do you know that a lot of women embrace these new fashions because the old decent clothing are not in stores?

When a new sexy item of clothing is seen on MTV, importers just hound it in, abandoning previous types of clothing. Go to a boutique near you, all you will see is low waste jeans. Somehow or the other, even the women who don't want to wear them are finally forced to.

Let them regulate the new clothes coming in so that people who don't want to wear these revealing clothes will have options. That is government regulation. Not to go and illegally arrest Nigerian women for not breaking the law. It is crazy.

Abeg let's not support injustice because it is not being meted on us. You may find it funny, but most times, I don't look at girls on the street. In fact, I look away. I look away when I see flashy cars too. That's just my nature.

If a white woman should wear trousers to Murtala Muhammed Airport, will they arrest her too?
If a Scottish man should wear a kilth to Nigeria, should the police kidnap him?
When a Jamaican is at an occasion and his dreadlocks are noticed, should he be detained?

Let us not start defeating an inexistent and imaginary laws which do not have specific structure and definition.

There will be chaos!
