iThink he's just interested in the Cert. .Funny thing is Schools dnt teach nothing. . I have a friend dat attended the 1-month CEH course @ New Horizon and ended up learning NOTHING except how to fill NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement) forms. .Total crap. ! nD to think he spent 120k for just 1 month. .

Nd d interesting part is if iHad asked for half of that amnt to teach him d whole CEH syllabus wv practicals, he won't have budged.   

The motive for learning Ethical hacking by most guys is to be destructive or do illegal stuffs. However,the knowledge and proper application can give one a very successful career- ask the penetration testers,they are making loads of money legally cos everybody needs them and with cloud computing being the rave of the moment,cyberwarfare will increase and more jobs for Ethical hackers.

Put the cd in and restart the pc,when it starts booting hit F12 key and choose the option to boot from cd.

changing harddrive wont solve your problem put back the one which was in there and we try to guide to get it back to normal

Zim, I think he changed the hard drive thinking the OS automatically comes with it. I guess that's why he's been seeing blank screen.

my system just freezes all of a sudden whenever i`m using it, switching off and then back on is the only way i get it to respond but it`s a reoccuring decimal. Also, the system fails to start up when i switch it back on, so techies in the house, what do you think is the problem with my system?

What's the Operating system on the computer?Did you install any application prior to this problem? Do you use your laptop on the bed blocking vents/fan underneath? Do you leave cd/dvd in while it goes off?

Thanks so much denzel2009. Forgive me 4 being naive. I use window vista. I actually took d lappy 2 computer village but i was told my data is gone & that i needed 2 buy another hard drive. I have no problem wit buyin another hard drive but i wanted 2 av a 2nd opinion dat was why i asked here. Pls can u recommend a good technician?

I dont know a good tech in Nigeria but saying your files are gone is just unprofessional. All he needs is to get a good boot cd to boot up your laptop and move your files and documents into an external drive.

Nigerian Police are hopeless, they were arresting people sometimes ago for wearing Aba made designer POLICE T-shirts.

Operating System not Browser.If you take it to a technician that knows what he's doing,your files would be saved.
