At least you did not deny the 'cassava bread' part and the idle group does not include the nairalanders(na so d fear of nairaland reach?? but by the way, didnt you realise that all the talk concerning the shoes, and a billion naira meal were meant to be metaphorical?? oh or I mean were some form of sarcasm?. anyways, good to know the Nigerian voices are heard. No one would talk about the shoes beside you, you must have been reading Nairaland. |
I just don't see the good in the 5,000 naira note. If he cares so much about the management costs on banks, what about the effect on an average Nigerian. The human angle is lacking and that, I detest. |
busar: Bt u didnt mention ''1 person's name''.It's jst an obsavtion o....oh, My bad! I ddnt mention Busar!!!! ![]() |
zayhal: Asalam alaykum deols. Belated eid mubarak to you and may Allah abundantly reward you for your efforts here.Amin. May Allah reward you too ![]() |
it means you should get a life or a better job.lol |
^^sharrap!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |
tbaba1234: This is untrue;not totally ![]() Being a muslim does not mean, you should be socially awkward; We have to part of our society as muslim and contribute to it... The really practising muslim is not the one holed up in the masjid,I agree The real practising muslim is the one applying the principles of Islam to better his society...Do u know of those brothers who back normal sisters while speaking with them, not that am saying they are the practicing Muslims o. How do u think they'd find it making a proposal. And oh, maybe I shldnt generalise. But on a very big picture, I see more Muslims having it hard striking a conversation than I see of 'others' |
I love the name, Ameera(leader, princess) ![]() IA, am gonna call my daughter Baheera(dazzling, brilliant) and as a nickname, dunyana(our world) ![]() Jawahir(jewels)& nabeela(noble) are two other names I like ![]() |
BahPulo: thanks sis Deols though it came late hope you had a Wonderful Ramadan and Eid.you are welcome ![]() |
sino: Definitely, maybe...thanks |
tbaba1234: Eid Mubarak sister... ![]() is it 'and you too?I think so ![]() |
good opinion |
una no get job? |
barka jum'ah long may we live |
sino: You know, we can liken talking to a sister with public speakingOk. now, I sympathise with the guys. But I do speak publicly. It shouldnt be such a big deal ![]() and I think it is harder for a Muslim guy(I mean the really practicing one) because they are not used to dating. He only gets to do the asking when he finds the hajia he wants to settle down with. It may not be very easy really. but he could just try some practice, knowing the right words to say long before approaching her. |
adeshina86: Salamalekum @deols, Av u try asking ursef if all wat u listed above makes a perfect man.....let Allah provide us all wit a man/woman dat will let islam show in our lives tru the man/woman.........dat shud be our major point of praying and seeking 4 an ideal man/woman......tanxoh yes, I have. I assume you didnt see d part where I mentioned Islam? Fact is, I came about the list just for this thread. I'd truly want him that way but I understand no one is perfect. Am not even all of those things. So, loosen up and learn from the thread. |
too much emotions on this thread. It points to one thing- change. Men can't stand it anymore. A few women support it while majority of others are cowed into accepting things the old way. my thoughts. I agree majority of Nigerian women want to get married but how many of them enjoy being married, are treated in fairness, as humans and have their opinions heard in these marriages. A few others are challenging the status quo( they just think you should be all that before you can be deserving of them), in the course of which they face such challenges as being unmarried at old age. Do I blame them? if they are whinning about it, they deserve the blame. if they think it was worth the struggle, kudos to them. my theory sure excludes the 'he isnt rich enough' kinda excuses. |
MacDaddy01: The point is that the noble quran and Muhammad by explaining the risks rather than permitting it.You want an health journal, go get one. thats not the basic job of the Qur'an. before we know it, u'd ask why the prophet ddnt talk about Sickle cell anemia and the need for carriers not to marry? or of rhesus compatibility. |
sino: How many of your immediate family members do you contact? talkless of your cousins? for your info, divorce in such marriages are rare and i am sure you know the reasons...you are right about the divorce being rare. I see highly educated arab Muslims, who are very aware of the health implications of these marriages engaged in it just because of the 'security' it brings. |
you can marry your cousins is different from you must marry your cousins. Of course, consanguinity increases your risks of having genetic diseases and for that reason you can decide not to be engaged in such a marriage. You could also have cultural reasons not to. the only thing to note is, You are allowed to and no one should prevent you from doing so. |
the thought of what her last moments must have been like is saddening unfortunately she isnt here to tell her side of the story. She may not have gotten into the hotel willingly. What assures us she knew what FEstac was like. |
josh4ever: Something STILL doesn't add up... The last paragraph says the suspects "after killing her, DEPOSITED HER BODY in the mortuary at Isolo" .... Which murderer murders a girl, then carries her to the mortuary, past the prying eyes of the hotel receptionists and co? Remember the story earlier said the suspects FLED after killing her. Is it too much to think that the police is trying some wash wash investigation... This same girl was missing for many weeks, and it was only when the story of her disappearance and death hit last week that the police quickly came out to say they had arrested suspects. Was this because it because they just realized it was a Generals daughter and had to quickly mobilize suspects to make them look good? Why wasn't her family informed all this while? Even if they made away with her identities, was she registered with another alias at the hotel? I'm just trying to be objective sha, and my apologies to anyone who might be offended by this piece, but we MUST still ask the police questions...that's bad journalism. very typical of Nija stories. |
okay |
unanghope: And so what? Wil that reduce the price of a cup of garri from N25 to N20... I only concentrate on what can reduce price of garri... Please next thread..and just now, am gonna go for my cup of gari..u get d blame |
isnt it time we start demanding good journalism? which media house did the reporting. I think they should be boycotted |
toba. seriously? o ga o. I ddnt mean to block your source of income your church business still dey as ususal ![]() |
olaheavy: The OP only wants to know why the gullible kriyos are scared to death of death and all they can resort to is attack on Muslims. They're so preoccupied with their daily obsession with Islam that they regard every endeavor as competition with the Muslims. If the Muslims' Ramaddan is ongoing the filibustering christians would say our own fasting is harder than their own: we fast for 100 days while they only fast for 30 days. Muslims have been performing the pilgrimage (haj) since time immemorial these imbecilic kiriyos protested to the government that they wanted to have their own board. Pilgrimage or haj is one of the pillars of Islam and it's caterigorically mentioned in the Qur'an, so I would like to ask the kiriyos to tell the world where it's written in their bible that they should go to 'Isreal' in Palestine for a pilgrimage - given the fact that this 'Isreal' is even an artificial one falsely created by the British!you give jokes man. Kiriyo? what does that mean ![]() |
the lady is muslim mr christainbasher
oh yes I am. thanks for the clarification |
christian arrogance again! obviously stems from their man-worship. have your heard of such things as humility, respect, equality, and dependance? how can you consider other beings lower than you, when your very existence depends on them yes we may be more intelligent, more agile, etc., but can you survive without our fellow creatures WHAT OF THE GODS THE FORCES THAT CAN DESTROY US IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE! Do the Gods feel low esteem by being assosciated with us lower creatures if at all they succumbed to mortal feelings?? ![]() did our ancestors and many tribespeople around the world feel suicidal by living amongst nature and its creatures/?!! ![]() if you are so ashamed of lower creatures that you feel like killing yourself, go to some other planet such as Mars or Jupiter. .
First, I am not a christian.tufiakwa The reason for my initial reply to you is I have noticed you always want to live your life like dogs or pigs. I can remember you justifying homosexualism by the fact that dogs do it. I wonder the essence of your higher intelligence if the dogs and cats and houseflies are your role models you gerrit now? |
toba: will u Stf up? whats ur proof?o dun, o fe ke..lol. how is fact finding my problem? na my money dem dey chop? |
shedraq1: Dangote is a moslem why not ask him to come and give you all his wealth, the princes and sheiks(real moslems) in saudi, dubai, uae, kuwait.qatar and oman own oil wells and have mosques, why don't you go and tell them that islam is against materialism and they should give their riches to you and your impoverished moslem brothers in kano...you are quick to pick on xtians, just like your misgiuded and deranged boko haram brothers are killing innocent xtianswhen you have nothing to say, just call them boko haram. What sense is in ur post dude? why wld u go askn from some1 else wat u'r running away from btw do u know of what is called zakaat. do u know how much money that is for the likes of Dangote to pay.It is a compulsory levy for a rich Muslim to pay. That is enough payment out of their wealth to give to the poor, the needy,... and for the course of Islam. they can also give sadaqah voluntarily to whomever they wish. |
OLASODE2K: billyonaire, the essence of seeing the next 5mins as bonus on earth is for u to always do good and always prepare ur mind both physically, psychologically and spritually to meet ur Lord. this is best achieved, according from islam, by striving hard to avoid any sins, putting ur household in such order as to when u die prematurely it wouldnt devastating effects on those u leave behind, etc. how can a religion that teaches us that any moslem who commits suicide under whatever guise or reason is an automatic candidate for hell be a pro suicide as u mentioned my friend? it went on to explain that anybody who commit suicide, will suffer severe pains from the part of his body which he he shot or bombed from the day he killed himself till the day of jugdement when God will dispatch him to hell. my friend, pls kindly teach the whole house wat happens to man after death most especially ur pre projection stage.that last one ehn? suicide bombers would keep feeling pain on their entire body so. THis is one reason people need to know the true Islam. |
