freecocoa: See wahala o.

If she doesn't like the GOD of Christianity and won't convert to christianity, why expect a christian who serves a God she doesn't believe in to help her?

Abegi make she pray to allah and let him come to her aid.
It is good to know how christians think..the likes of this prove me right about chrisianity.

and btw, nothing in d post says she was begging him. The bishop is d one speaking 2 her.
Long story short, Muslims need to ask their god, their imams, their clerics, etc for help.

Stop asking Christians to help you.

Don't cry if you aren't given admittance to a Christian school.

Don't cry if a Christian doesn't decide to save you from penury.

If Oyedepo decides to help you, wonderful. If he doesn't, fine..that is his prerogative.
this matter isnt about Muslims asking others for help. Am sure it dossnt happen often. This is about someone denying his own blood. you may see nothing wrong wv ds since you have stated your religion has thought you nothing of such.

but someone like me is definitely awed for the beauty of Islam is seen in how you treat others. After obedience to ur God, as a rule, is obedience to ur parents. To keep d ties between ur kith nd kins is another golden rule which is not determined by religion or lifestyle. even the prophet would talk about the best of us(Muslims) as d one whose neighbours are free from his harm..

On a more general note, only a fool would continue to attribute financial success to religion. the owner of NL is an atheist, successful as I see it in his endeavour. Would he preach atheism to evry1 if they hope 2 attain his kinda success? Oh this success is d temporary one..that of the hereafter is d real deal. anx I'd rather have that just
as I hope the bishop's sis would be patient enough to.

dont8: Ramadan kareem, pity didn't hear the news on time, I'll observe still anyway without eating, masallam.
since sha'ban was 29 yesterday, you were supposed to prepare to fast today so that even if we wouldnt fast today, u'd keep eating and when we fast, it is all well and good.

now, u sound like u didnt eat sahur(saari). if it wasnt for ramadan and if you havent eaten anything today, ur fast would be termed valid but the fast of ramadan comes with an intention which you do not have. So, even though you wouldnt eat until maghrib today, u would have to repay your missed one. waAllahu a'lam

Taraweeh was observed in Saudi tonight. But that doesnt mean that fasting would start in Nigeria tomorrow. The people of Nigeria are expected to listen to their own leaders before they commence their fasting. wa Allahu a'lam

Islam › Re: Helping Each Other Make The Most Of Ramadan by deols(op): 9:39am On Jul 19, 2012
I will start.

Qur'an Recitation in Ramadan.

the holy month of Ramadan is a time when everyone increases their good deeds. Qur'an recitation is one of those things we work hard on. Many would just want to recite the whole of the Qur'an once throughiut the month while others may go twice, thrice or more. The most I ever achieved is twice. I hope to improve. But, the recitation shouldnt be about how many verses recited. we could also work on pondering on the meanings of what we recite.

how to finish the whole Qur'an in ramadan

-the holy Qur'an, most especilaly the ones printed in Saudi are divided into 3o juz. reciting one per day would make reciting the whole possible in the holy month.
-Also, one juz has 20 pages, except for the last juz. Reciting 4 pages after each solaat(five daily prayers) is equivalent to one juz per day.
-SOmething else I think might be helpful are the Qur'an apps we have on phones. The iQuran for example has the english meaning immediately after each verse. that would make pondering over them easy.

I pray Allah makes it easy for us.

Ramadan is a wonderful period. It can also be a challenging time. Having someone else help out may not be a bad idea. Let us discuss some of the challenges we face and hope others might learn from how we resolve them or we could just give certain tips we think might help others benefit so much from the holy month.

Ramadan Kareeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem. Allahu akram.

maclatunji: By the way, if your question is based on a real person, I suggest you let that person be at least until you have a change of mindset on the issue.
u'r asking if it is based on a real person? I dont think it has to be before ur advice might be worthwhile.maybe I shld put it better and ask what you would do if you were in that situation? And I ddnt mention a mindset or did I

maclatunji: I am afraid I have you in a tight corner. We Muslims are to love our brothers and sisters and that should be enough for us/you. So how can you say you don't love your Muslim brother at all? You need to check that even if I understand what you are trying to say.
if u dont want to understand love in d context that I mean it, so be it. Am trying to av a conversation here and not win an arguement. Am sure u understand that the conversation doesnt av to be wv u.
