Goldieluks: Very good story you just gave there, but come to think of it,not all guys would react the way you did, some would go on to say 'hi' and maybe have a little chat with the girl.I think it solely depend on one's personal exposure really. But it sort of backfired to you, cause its like your feeling bad about it.
Obviously still feeling bad about it. I doubt if she will try that with a guy anytime soon.
Also, I over assumed her personality, based on my immediate environment.
Just some combination of poor responses from my end culminating into a toasting disaster !
Goldieluks: Oh these girls, next time go up to him and say 'hi' for goodness sakes, there's no harm in trying. even if at the end,you guys didn't get to date, but you'll know in your heart that you tried. You don't let a piece of chocolate pass ya like that, especially if your single girl.
Good advice but could backfire at times.
Earlier this year, i was in customer care unit in a Zenith bank branch somewhere on the island. The bank has a tradition of having mirrors all over, and after sometime, I noticed the full round fresh pretty girl on the queue trying to consult a teller.
We both noticed each other after some time and we kept having our eyes locked on each other.
She finished before me and then she walked towards the customer care unit, and I was 1000% sure that she was coming to see one of the customer care agents.
Only for her to walk straight to me and confidently said "hi", I replied but till now i have no idea of what i said in response.
The she shocked me by telling me straight up that, " I think I am attracted to you" My response was a disconnected and a bit load " What did you say?"
And she repeated same thing, maybe in another form My response was a confused silence
The obviously smarter girl just said, " just joking", with a wide smile said "Nice meeting you" and She stepped out of the bank.
I was completely caught off guard and felt very bad.

Niseamaka: This is a racist post to the core, Mithel. Some of us live and work outside the shores of Nigeria where there are countless unemployed white people.

For the sake of fighting corruption I support this IDEA 100%.All money transfer should be traceable.
Infact, personally I implemented this for my shopping, over 2 years Ago and It's working fine. Though the setback is that I am limited to only a few number of shops.
1025: i listened to an interview granted to CNN by this same jonathan in which he said population is the reason for nigeria's in ability to manage her petroleum revenues very well so how come he is increasing our population again? is jonathan increasing our population or what?
Abagworo: This is pure crap.No one needs a soothsayer to know that the next four years(just like the last 12 years) will be spent trying to legitimise illegitimate government which will lead to four years of waste. They will also ask for another four years in 2015 which they will also rig again and produce another illegitimate government and the ping pong continues till the masses realize that this country is ours and does not belong to them.
Seriously, I think the Old wester Regions (except Delta) is beginning to realize that.
What Nigerians don't know is that If our country is properly Governed at the State/Regional Level, WHO WILL CARE who the president is?
If the level of Infrastructure within "my space " is comparable to many developing countries then, I am reaping my votes already
Jimmy Boy: Nah, there is no conspiracy theory here, they couldn't have waited 10years to put up such theories.Obama also, can not come out in the open to lie to americans.About osama's burial, muslims must be buried the same they die, therefore doing anything otherwise will whip-up anti american sentiments in islamic world.I am sure they have enough pictures and footages to convince the world that they killed the murderer.
saintneo: seems you already have the separation planned out. With this kind of suggestion, it will not be long before the entire system will be fully divided.
What is this sentiments about separation.
If two sets of people can not live together, the most sensible thing to do is to separate ! Otherwise we will keep burying over 1000 southerners EVERY Year.
This has been the trend since, the introduction of SHARIA.
