PoliticsRe: Ibori Fights Back – Ribadu Is A Serial Liar Who Plotted Against Yar’adua by Depilot(m): 1:48pm On Sep 29, 2009
The difference here is, I may disagree with the way Ribadu has chosen to react or respond to all these charges or to all his enemies, but I do not dislike the man. And this is my reason why I think he should seek a different approach.
What he has shown us so far isn't going to solve anything, but only makes the criminals look like bunch of angels.

For me, Nigeria comes first.

Afam: don't waste your time, keep walking.
PoliticsRe: Ibori Fights Back – Ribadu Is A Serial Liar Who Plotted Against Yar’adua by Depilot(m): 1:21pm On Sep 29, 2009
I refuse to sing the song of praise like others without clearly knowing what went down or what is going on. Ribadu is not helping himself or Nigeria by his nonsensical action, but further degrading our low standard.
PoliticsRe: Ibori Fights Back – Ribadu Is A Serial Liar Who Plotted Against Yar’adua by Depilot(m): 1:14pm On Sep 29, 2009
Ribadu may be stepping on you but he is certainly not stepping on me.
It is very common for certain Nigerians not to see beyond their nose.
Trust me, I did not expect you to grasp the concept of the discussion.

Keep walking my man.
PoliticsRe: Ibori Fights Back – Ribadu Is A Serial Liar Who Plotted Against Yar’adua by Depilot(m): 1:01pm On Sep 29, 2009
Without any question, Ibori and others are nothing but enemies of Nigeria, but at least Ibori is showing an effort to face all the charges against him. He's not running from Nigeria or London, he's doing whatever he has to do to defend himself like a man and a citizen of Nigeria (regardless of the outcome of the cases).

Now, is Ribadu doing the same? Is Ribadu clean? Is Ribadu disobeying any law? Is Ribadu running? And what exactly is Ribadu is running from?
If security is Ribadu's concern, I do not think he would have had the balls to show up again in Nigeria just couple of weeks ago.
You or Ribadu may not see it, but the man is stepping on everyone of us.

And this is the only problem I personally have with Ribadu.
PoliticsRe: Ibori Fights Back – Ribadu Is A Serial Liar Who Plotted Against Yar’adua by Depilot(m): 2:39am On Sep 29, 2009
Obviously Ibori is a criminal, but one should ask why Ribadu has chosen to participate in this kind of low-life child play.
Is this how to help your people or country?
It is also obvious that Ibori has nothing to lose at this point, but when is Ribadu finally going to realize that he's starting to repeat the same mistake from the past?

Enough of this cheap talk, it's either you're in or out.
PoliticsRe: Ibori: Ribadu Sought My Help In Bid To Become Ig by Depilot(m): 6:20pm On Sep 28, 2009
The position was open? Thanks for the misinformation. Enjoy the week.
If I was wrong about the position being open, why don't you then ask why Ribadu was seeking for a position that wasn't open in the first place?

Enjoy the rest of the month.
PoliticsRe: Ibori: Ribadu Sought My Help In Bid To Become Ig by Depilot(m): 5:53pm On Sep 28, 2009
What open position? Did anyone tell you that the office of the Inspector General of the Police Force was open or vacant?
Yes, at the time the position was open; I believe Ehindaro was about to retire.
PoliticsRe: Ibori: Ribadu Sought My Help In Bid To Become Ig by Depilot(m): 5:51pm On Sep 28, 2009
People should try to let go all this idol worshipping crap and for once take a good look at what is going on. it isn't difficult to see that these people are dirty and also linked to one another.
If you check the record and ask government officials in Abuja, you will know that Ribadu and Ibori were very good friends not to long ago.
I still wonder why the table turned all of a sudden.
What is the difference between Ibori and Odeli?
What is the difference between Ibori and Tunubu?

Yes, Ibori must pay or must be punished, but why is Ribadu so obsessed with Ibori's case?
PoliticsRe: Ibori: Ribadu Sought My Help In Bid To Become Ig by Depilot(m): 5:16pm On Sep 28, 2009
Not to support Ibori, but there is nothing wrong when a governor or any other government official recommends someone to the president to attain an open position. It happens all the time.
FYI 90% of all these decisions are not made by the president, but by the people that surround the president.

What is wrong is seeking the help of a corrupt governor in bidding for a federal government position.
PoliticsRe: Why Ribadu Is After Me - Ibori by Depilot(m): 8:55pm On Sep 27, 2009
Ribadu can shut the Bleep up and Ibori can also go somewhere to die.
I'm sick and tired of Ribadu's hide and seek game. How can one fight his enemies or help his people from the other side of the ocean?
It doesn't matter how anyone sees it, but the fact remains solid, Ribadu is still directly or indirectly part of the disease that is killing this country.
In fact, 98% of his latest action is not to help Nigeria in any way but to promote himself.

Now that he has made it clear to the world that his political enemies prefer him dead, If he can not now come out clean and face all his enemies, I recommend that he can go ahead and disappear forever.

Nigeria can not be saved by an individual, it takes the contributions of the entire village to change things for better. Therefore, we can all stop this idol worshipping bullshit.

MLK did not run when things got hot
MX did not run
Gani did not run
Obama did not run
The Kutis did not run
Al Sharpton did not run
Mega Evers did not run
Awolowo did not run
Zik did not run
Ken Saro-Wiwa did not run
Nelson Mandela did not run
Patrick Macphoso did not run
Eldridge Cleaver did not run

This is because all these people have something great in-common: "they all fought or they are all fighting for the elevation or liberation of their people and country, and NOT A SELF SERVING EFFORT"

Nigeria needs more than just a coward noise maker to see great things again.
PoliticsRe: Why Ribadu Is After Me - Ibori by Depilot(m): 4:30pm On Sep 27, 2009
Ribadu depreciated his value as federal government Official (asset) as soon as he got himself too involved in politics and also became Obasanjo's best friend.
This issue is too damn twisted to accurately determine who we should believe.

These are facts: 1. Ribadu wanted IGP position badly 2. Ribadu wanted to annul the presidential election of 2007 because the dude that won was not his friend 3. Ribadu wanted Ibori's down fall badly 4. Ribadu had 1 or 2 deals with Ibori.

At this point, I ask all of them to go to hell. The situation will never be resolved, but only keep Nigeria from moving forward.
PoliticsRe: I Am Getting Sick Of Ribadu by Depilot(op): 6:15pm On Sep 24, 2009
The dude has already disrespected the rules, he has disappeared from the country, he has re-appeared and then disappeared again.
He has also given us his several reasons many times for not showing up to face the charges against him.
What else doesn't he want?
His stories are starting to get old.

It appears to me that this dude just loves attention and he tends to dive into any opportunity to keep his name in the news.

It is true that old soldier never dies, but Ribadu can not be appearing and disappearing as he wants. Now that he has listed all his enemies in the country, I think now is the time for him to return to face all these charges against him (regardless of if they are true or false).
If he can not "man-up" to stand like a man and a great citizen of this country to face these charges, I beg him to do us a favor and just stay disappeared.

RIBADU CRIES OUT: Aondoakaa after my life - Allegation is diversionary - AGF

FORMER chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on Wednesday, said he refused to appear before the Code of Conduct Tribunal trying him for alleged non-declaration of assets while in office, because the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa (SAN), was seeking his life.

The Code of Conduct Bureau recommended the former anti-corruption boss for trial by the tribunal, following alleged discovery that he did not declare his assets while in office as prescribed by the Fifth Schedule to the 1999 Constitution.

He has so far refused to submit himself for trial, claiming that his life was not safe, though he had not pointed the finger until Wednesday, when he accused the embattled minister of seeking his death.

Speaking through his lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana, Ribadu claimed that the AGF had already sent a killer squad after him.

u really amaze me when u said nigerians cant afford MCdon.i strongly believe you are not in nigeria, dats why u saying this.i will keep saying it,there nothing in this world dat nigerians cant afford.let them come first and u would see how people would rush there esp in lagos.
@Temmytanny:
1. It looks like many people will be able to afford McDon in Nigeria, but the percentage of these people that you're referring to is very low when you compare it to our enormous population.

2. Our standard of living in Nigeria has not improved for the last 20 yrs, in fact, it has gotten worse; therefore, we currently do not have anything in place that entices this corporation to establish their business in Nigeria.

3. Our power supply trouble is another failure that totally contradicts the standard McDon has been maintaining for many yrs.

4. our logistics in Nigeria is also less than very poor.
FYI: Among other things, McDon pays extra attention to the most efficient method to move products around to all their stores. In fact, this is also one of the reasons why they mostly have everything on their menu available.

As a result of all these shortcomings, Nigeria as a nation can not afford McDon at this point in time.

I hope you got it this time.

my piont is that it shouldnt b referd 2 as tourism - but amusement park.
I prefer TERRORISM.

One has to pull a tooth to see or do simple things in Nigeria and that just drive me crazy.
Our amusement parks in Nigeria (including Tinapa water park) remind me of an amusement park for the mentally challenged folks.
It is very embarrassing.

BusinessRe: Lovely Pictures Of Tinapa Water Park. by Depilot(m): 6:01pm On Sep 16, 2009
Also tried to bring McDonald's Corporation to Abuja few yrs ago, the attempt was unsuccessful. 1 of the main reasons was the fact that an average Nigerian wouldn't be able to afford the products. And this totally contradicts the concept of the corporation.

Without any doubt affordability should have been the second factor to be analyzed during the planning process of the project.
Maintenance is still the number 1 factor.

And I can assure you that the master planners will not be able to clearly answer most of these concerns of the citizens.
@ROSABELLE:
It is sad that we sometimes allow our roughness to stop us from adding to what we already know.
This is a standard put together by this corporation or we can even simply say that this is their decision at this time.

So, what is the sweat for? Did I put this standard together? FYI, I was even disappointed to discover this decision.
We need not to make big deal out of things we do not know.
If you read and understand my original post, you will see where I stated that  1 of the main reasons; which indirectly means there are other reasons.
Relax urself, nobody is questioning your objection.
BusinessRe: Lovely Pictures Of Tinapa Water Park. by Depilot(m): 5:14pm On Sep 16, 2009
Moreover, I can not see McDonald's operating 95% of the time using generator (polluting the environment). It totally contradicts their standard.
Making money is not the problem, they will make money with no question, in fact that was why I got myself involved, but they prefer to make money the right way. Establishing this business in Nigeria of today is far from what these folks want to do.

You don't have to believe me, go and check.
BusinessRe: Lovely Pictures Of Tinapa Water Park. by Depilot(m): 5:07pm On Sep 16, 2009
the excuse you gave about mcdons is bullshit bro.

there are hundreds of such far far more expensive than mr biggs in lagos and nigeria and people stil go there to enjoy.
You don't get it. it is not a matter of just 15% enjoying a product, it is implemented for all 100% to enjoy.
It is not an excuse, it is a standard McDonald sets up.

Just because everybody is rubbing blindmen doesn't mean McDonald should also follow the same steps.

Bridge is visible while tunnel is mostly not visible. Tunnel is a sample of gigantic project.
Tinapa water park also falls in the same category.

"As a politician, You do not make money building bridge, you make money building tunnel"

For God sake lets learn to appreciate a good work for once. If all our corrupt leaders stole and did something at least, the country would have move beyond this point. I hope to go for vacation there
Your corrupt leaders mostly  implement gigantic project like this to steal more money. This is why most of these projects are not planned properly and also the main reason why they quickly fall apart with time.

FYI: Gigantic Projects = to untraceable stolen money.

Sorry guy, that is the name of the game.
BusinessRe: Lovely Pictures Of Tinapa Water Park. by Depilot(m): 4:41pm On Sep 16, 2009
Mc Donalds is wayyyy cheaper than Mr. Biggs. So please check your facts first
Mr biggs is not an American product.
McDonald corporation has standard they plan to maintain for many yrs to come. They just don't jump when you show them money.
They have process that will not be compromised.

You do not have to believe me, go and do the research and I assure you that you will be back to kiss me.

May be we should just change tourism in Nigeria to terrorism in Nigeria.
BusinessRe: Lovely Pictures Of Tinapa Water Park. by Depilot(m): 4:30pm On Sep 16, 2009
And you guys should please stop mentioning TOURISM when you mention Nigeria. It is a dream that will never never come true until we address all our issues, accept that we have issues and identify how these issues are going to be resolved.

Tourism in a country that only supplies her citizens with power supply for only 6 unpredictable hours per week. Some areas don't even see power supply for a week straight on a regular. And we want tourism in Nigeria, we even tried to have the world cup played in Nigeria.
Does that make any sense?

when things are new they look beautiful, but wait when they are old, then we will know
Especially in Nigeria with Nigerian mentality, where no-one bothers to pay attention to reliable and feasible maintenance plans that will keep a newly implemented project going for many years to come.
Nigerian mentality mostly thinks about what it looks like today and has no common sense to think about keeping the great looks going for tomorrow, this is also called long term process.
This is why I personally do not jump up and down for any flashy Nigeria Fed Govt project,or structure. The flashiness and functionality do not last.

The name of my country is Nigeria.
