PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 6:26pm On Jun 26, 2009
Kobo: I'm not too sure if I understand your points. What are you saying? What exactly do you think about Ribadu's actions? Which side do you belong?
Because reading your post is not saying much about the issue on the ground.
For ur info: The issue is whether Ribadu should return to Nigeria to face all charges against him or continue to hide in UK.
Again, if his security is the issue, lawyers in Nigeria will confirm that there are many ways available to address security issues.

I see no reason to write a book or prolong the issue or intercept the issue with other side attractions. It is a simple topic.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 5:13pm On Jun 26, 2009
Ribadu that claim he would die for nigeria does not want to go to the nigeria he wanted to die for.
He doesn't want to return to Nigeria because he's scared of being killed exposed.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 4:35pm On Jun 26, 2009
Any real lawyer will tell you that Ribadu's excuse for forcing himself into exile is very weak.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 4:31pm On Jun 26, 2009
It only makes sense to expect that they will come back to get him in the end, and we should not now pretend that never happens in that country.
So, you think this folks can't still get him wherever he's hidding?
This dude travels at least twice a month all over little African countries, do you really think that if they want him dead, it can't happen somewhere else?
Again, let us set the bullshit aside, Ribadu is only using an excuse to run away from his dirty secret.

Nobody wants this man dead. If anything, they want to show the public that he isn't what he has presented himself to be, and he clearly understands this fact.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 6:22pm On Jun 25, 2009
He says he ran away because they want to kill him YET HE MAKES PUBLIC APPEARANCES WHERE HE IS. CAN THE PRESIDENT NOT AFFORD TO SET UP MACHINERY TO KILL HIM WHERE HE IS?
Good answer.
In addition, Obasanjo also said "Ribadu should use the money he benefitted from my administration to hire himself a good lawyer. He should do the same thing my daughter, Iyabo did, "come out from the darkness and face all the charges"
Don't be silly and set the bullshit aside, the difference between Ibori and Ribadu isn't much
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 6:14pm On Jun 25, 2009
Ribadu has left us with no choice but to start believing some of these charges. At least, Ette did not run to UK.
For your info: When Obasanjo was confronted to help Ribadu, do you know what was his answer?
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 5:55pm On Jun 25, 2009
AFAM: please stop it.
The charges are way too deeper than what you've presented. There are missing government properties, including money.
Just encourage this man to come forward and many of us will not believe why he continues to run.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 5:51pm On Jun 25, 2009
Any real lawyer will tell you that Ribadu is full of shit.
If security is the real issue, there are better ways to address it and overcome his security concern. But the truth is, security has nothing to do with what is on the ground; Ribadu is pretty much busy hidding something very dirty.

And by the way, do you really think he's very safe in UK? This guy travels at least twice a month to other african countries, again, do you guys honestly think he's safe?
I personally think nobody wants this man dead. If anything, they want to show the public that he isn't what he has presented himself to be.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 5:37pm On Jun 25, 2009
if the government really was serious about getting him down here, it would present its case against him to the government in the country where Ribadu currently resides. As long as the government can show that it has a case, the foreign government should be willing in some way to help make sure justice is served the Nigerian people
I honestly believe that European countries, (especially UK) do not take us or our constitution serious and this is why it is very easy for Ribadu to be hidding in UK and not USA.
Let us forget yaradua and others, I think Nigerian people deserve to know the truth. Many young people in the country are very disappointed to see how their hero, Ribadu is playing us like a game of soccer.
He wasn't scared for his life when he was demoted and sent back to school. Now that the shit has hit the fan and the truth are coming out, the dude is scared. Please people, set the bullshit aside. We are too smart to settle for this nonsense.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 5:12pm On Jun 25, 2009
@topic,

The best fight against corruption till date was fought by this man.

We do not want him killed all in the name of luring him back to Nigeria to answer to non declaration of assets. He is not even being accused of stealing or looting and we want him to risk his life?

This same man was nearly assassinated while in Nigeria, no one could protect him, not the police, not the government he served, only God delivered him from the assassin's bullets and some people here want him to come down.

Only God knows how many of us here are actually working undercover for some corrupt people or even government kpakpa.
I disagree with your post. i think we all need to first stop thinking as if Nigeria is a village. What is the big deal in answering few questions just like others?
Ribadu has been invited for almost 1 year while he was in Nigeria, but ignored all invitations. Please don't forget that he just left the country few months ago. The least he could have done while in Nigeria was to show up in the court of law, and I guarantee you he wouldn't have been killed right there. If they want him dead, he would have been dead very long time ago. Please let us pay attention and be sensible for a change.
This guy is also my guy, but let us set bullshit aside and think. He has a single head just like others.
If Ribadu is successful in getting away with this senseless action, how many more in Nigeria do you think will tap into following the same steps to avoid going to court?
I'm not saying this man is guilty of any of the charges, but he must come forward and clear the air.
Abeg, let us start thinking with our head not our foot.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 4:30pm On Jun 25, 2009
I can affirm, with 99.9% confidence, that cre8tivity was a direct/indirect victim of Ribadu's effectiveness
while in office. Indirectly, perhaps through family ties.
May be creative is Ibori's side girl lipsrsealed
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 4:17pm On Jun 25, 2009
ribadu was invited the same way kalu, ibori, ibb jr., marwa, ladoja, fani kayode, aborishade, igbinedion were invited. all of them held top level positions with the previous administration. so, i do not think ribadu has any rights to feel too big or too special to be invited. nobody is bigger than nigeria.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Ribadu shouldn't be treated differently from the rest. He should make his people proud by coming forward to address all charges against.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 9:08pm On Jun 24, 2009
Yes, groundless rumors! Which one is your favorite, Odeli Newspaper or Amebo daily news?
Ribadu must come forward and make up proud, till then he's nothing but another 419.
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 8:02pm On Jun 24, 2009
1. Is this poster aware that Ribadu's car was riddled with bullets while he was in the car by suspected assassins?

2. This poster simply prefers Ribadu to fly into the country to defend non declaration of asset not stealing or looting public funds even if it means the young man being killed in the process by the powers that be.

It is a shame that while we are trying to appear smart we have ended up exposing our gross ignorance and shallow level of reasoning on a public forum.
From what you have listed (groundless rumors), it is obvious that you read too much Nigerian newspaper. I see no need to entertain you, it is Ok to accept whatever gives you peace at night.
I just wonder how long it will take many of us to start thinking on our own!
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Forced Me Into Exile - Ribadu by Depilot(m): 6:05pm On Jun 24, 2009
All the charges brought against this guy have been consistent for almost a year.
And what bothers me the most is the fact that Ribadu goes all over the world talking about everything but the charges against him. He criticizes the same Yaradua he helped brought to Aso Rock.

If you are a lawyer you will know that these charges are very simple and straight forward if you're clean.
Ribadu has left many of us with no other option but to believe that he has something very dirty to hide; if not he would have come forward to answer all these questions and make his supporters proud.
But instead, he is busy roaming about and attacking the new government (he assisted in putting together), which I do not think is different from the one Ribadu himself worked for, just couple of years ago.

I think these bastards are all the same at the end of the day. I honestly believe that supporting Ribadu at this point is the beginning of playing a damn fool.

Someone needs to forward this topic to Mikeansy. The dude will sell his mama's house for UK or American visa.
Africa is the best place to be.

Obviously, you do not know anything about the man called Ribadu.

@Mkeansy, life in Africa is not that bad for some people.

PoliticsRe: This Time Around, Do You Have Any Advise For Ribadu by Depilot(m): 7:39pm On Apr 24, 2009
Ribadu has lost absolutely nothing

After being a Participant at Kuru, He is now a Researcher in one of UK's most prestigous University as a Researcher (oxford).

A good and responsible administration will still hire his services in another capacity
For the sake of his patriotism and diehard supporters, my advise for him is to go out there like a warrior and defend himself. A man only dies once, while a coward dies 100,000 deaths.
From my understanding, Ribadu prefers, more than anything else to remain in Nigeria.
@Mkeansy, not everyone gets turned on living in UK as a researcher. Sorry pal.

@Mikeansy,what has Peter Obi done for Anambra state
Peter Obi uses his bribe money to feed his kids. I still can not believe that this fool has not been impeached.
PoliticsRe: What If Fashola Goes For A Re-run Guber Election? by Depilot(m): 2:01pm On Apr 24, 2009
I will cast my vote for Fashola as long as he pays more attention to human rights during the execution of his projects. It makes no sense to continue to renovate your house while your children that live in the house have no food to eat.

You're a good looking dude and very serious indeed. JackAss!
PoliticsRe: Fashola, This Is Commendable by Depilot(m): 8:35pm On Apr 23, 2009
But Fashola should not trample on basic human rights to achieve his goals
As much as I hate your guts because you suck, I must agree with you on just this one.
Fashola seems to be a great leader, but he must cool himself down and try more to exemplify the right principles to achieve his goals.
I've heard that from time to time he tends not to pay attention to basic human rights when he's executing his operations.
PoliticsRe: Fashola, This Is Commendable by Depilot(m): 6:51pm On Apr 23, 2009
The sad part is the fact that it doesn't take much to be a productive leader in Nigeria. Another job well done by Fashola.

What do you know about wise men?

Wise men don't dismiss propositions and not offer screened alternatives like you just did. They don't say there is a better or more intellectual manner to approach without highlighting what this is. Except your interpretation of wise men are those villagers that give you advise after 3 kegs of burukutu.

Look at the quality of soul that wants to discuss wiseness with me. Shioh!
From the rubbish you've posted, it is very easy to label you as an ignorant low-life who is very opinionated without having much information to go on.

PoliticsRe: Ex-gov Turaki Involved In Accident, Very Good! by Depilot(m): 2:47pm On Apr 22, 2009
I will not be surprised if the Ex governor lives longer than some of the people here wishing death upon him. It is ok to be upset about how things are being operated by politicians in Nigeria, but it is also important for us to think and approach things prudently.
There are other better ways to solve our problems.
