Deadlytruth: I think it is you that is confused about Edo State's geopolitical location because in your stereotyped perception, all SS states should be pro-PDP even at the detriment of good governance. Edo started as a PDP state but was forced to dump the "SS is PDP and PDP is SS" assumption due to the unprecedented, unparralled and historic misgovernance it suffered under the Lucky Igbinedion locust regime controlled by a gang of rapacious and inhuman godfathers like Tony Anenih, Gabriel Igbinedion, etc whom they never wanted to have any say in their government directly or indirectly again. Edo people are after good governance regardless of the party that could give it to them. They have outgrown the primitive and savage assumption that certain parties are for certain regions....an unfortunate and retrogressive delusion still prevalent and virulent in most SS and SE states. If your state in the SE had fallen victim of the kind of gang that plundered and milked Edo State dry non-stop for eight excruciating years, you would have understood that a state's choice of party doesn't not definite it's geopolitical identity. And who told you that the SS will be ruled by PDP forever? Weren't certain American states initially traditionally Democrats state but now traditionally Republican, and vice versa? Please stop looking at geopolitical identity through partisan lenses because parties come and go but the people remain. Northern states were nearly all PDP states but now mostly APC states. Can we therefore follow your logic to conclude that your SE states were Northern States back then, or that Imo State didn't know where they stood geopolitically for being in APC under Rochas Okorocha amidst the other four? Please cut this childish Ipobian crap. It is too low a level to descend to. Gbosaaaa! You're a true born son of Edo heritage full of wisdom and understanding. You gave that confused "hate-full and hatefooled" Ipodian a Tyson-like upper cut. |

Vellichor: Whose fault is that? When they sleep with everything and anything in a skirt why won't the chances of them fathering a child that's not theirs be high? If a woman is raped, she's victim and rapist is a criminal. But if she consented, she's a colaborator and perpetrator. So, don't try to twist it the other way round. Just as some husbands sleep with maids which ladies hate so it is when wives sleeps with drivers, gatemen and gardeners only to give the pregnancy to her unsuspecting husband to father. |

What he has said is the bitter truth. Apart from Lagos and Rivers, I dont see any other state paying the new min wage. Not true, most state guvnors are cornering money for themselves. Edo has paying N25k just before Oshiomhole handed over and the govnor has been saying is agreed Edo 'll pay. Even, the guvnor has said he 'll pay. So, leave Edo out our govt is far more responsible that most states. |

naturalwaves: Nobody seems to be talking about the useless tactics of Manu Garba in this competition all because Nigeria is not yet in danger. I do not know what the offence of Ayobami(13) is to him to warrant dragging him off his usual position of 8 to right wing. He is always ruthless in that 8 position and feeds the strikers well from there as well. He has not been functional in that RWF position and not like he is blessed with extreme speed or ability to hold on to the ball for so long, why put him there then? Since he has been in that position, we barely penetrate through the centre of the pack. He needs to watch it and switch to the normal formation.
Our strikers need to also be taught how to kick the ball in a one be one situation. They need to learn how to hit the ball from under to beat a keeper already close to the ground. Everything is not just about shot shot every time.
The coaches should get clips of RAUL; the legendary striker and our strikers should watch a bit of it. Our team is not that bad though............the players have power, speed and strength but lack common sense and technique. A lack of technique at the world cup will get us seriously punished. Apt analysis...you know the stuff bro |

frankmoney: Oshiomole should take it easy before he destroys the party This is an ignorant statement. Shouldn't Nigerians appreciate Oshiomhole for ensuring that non-performing APC governors are not given automatic tickets. That's the reason our country is backward because our young people don't appreciate politicians who make good decision for their sakes. Oshiomhole has been fighting against Okorocha and Ibikunle Amosun for their failures and schemes to place stoogies in their offices yet young people are just hating for hating sake. |

MrHandsome2013: The above subject matter just gave a perfect description of my life. Some people were born with a silver spoon while some were so fortunate in life. some times i just looked at the mirror and say to myself.. do i really deserve this treatment.. Was i created to live miserable life. Life is not far on most people but those who are determined, rugged and focused with faith, prayers consistently doing what you do rightly, the dust around you will settle and find you still standing. Don't despair bro, most of the successful people in their career or businesses you see or hear about had endured same or worse situation at the time no body knew or heard about them. It's when they "come out of the woods" with success to show for it people 'll start singing their praise. No one reconed with when they were hungry with no Kobo to their name, wore tattered clothes, homelessness and no help from any one. You're not alone, there're millions of people in your situation so, stay put and fight on. Some day, you'll have a story to tell. |

This win may mean something to you but it doesn't to me. Tell me any Tennis player in history who has achieved the success of Roger Federer and still playing at a "forbidden age" in tennis, tell me of Female tennis player who achieved the success of Williams sisters and playing at top of their sport at such "impossible age" in female tennis in history. Yet, these are in the same generation as Tiger Woods. It therefore, means that his age isn't your grudge but his marital affairs issues. Tell Serena and Roger Federer to quit. |
]I lost my respect for this man a long time ago. All I can say towards this supposed success is this, your time has come and gone... Leave the younger ones to find their footing. Michael Jordan retired from basketball and will forever be remembered as one of the greatest athlete of our generation with millions from endorsements etc. Tiger Woods should aim towards that. Repair your public image first and help us forget your past deeds. Then work towards immortalizing your name in golf. Winning tournaments by a stroke of luck etc will not do that
In as much as you have an opinion, your opinion doesn't count for him. He became famous for his golfing prowess, defying the norm and sport dominated by white men. His family issues was only used by all to thrash him. If he hadn't had that episode he probably would earned the status of the "GOAT" by winning more majors than anyone else. But he's shown what define great men and character in the sport by coming up from "the dead" and reaching the zenith again inspite of his many injuries and surgeries. So, Mr, keep your judgement to yourself because if he's able keep up for the next 2 yrs, that so called "bartered public image" will regain prominence as one who defied the olds and distractions. Sponsors that judged and wrote him off will be all over him again.
You said winning by a stroke of luck? I see a jealous feminists finding opportunity to thrash a great man. If you have never sinned keep casting your stones, yeye dey smell. |

You are dumb and an economic illiterate. Do you realise how many man-hours are lost in the gridlock at Oshodi as it presently is? If you calculate the amount from say, the 1980s till date, it runs into countless billions of dollars.
Ease of movement/transportation is a very vital component of any development initiative. The interchange is not about ''showing off''. It is about increasing economic productivity.
People more educated than you have assessed the short and long-term economic impact of the project going forward, prior to its initiation and approval.
You people should go and learn Urban Planning and the economics surrounding it before assaulting us with your loud ignorance and dumbitude. |

It is not a waste but a very sensible and wise economic project. Oshodi was huge waste of space and this project will transform that space beautifully and economic wise. If you international investors in your economy you need to make your city attractive to them, transportation, aesthetics/tourism, security etc. Dubai is where companies around the world go to hold business meetings, corporate trainings etc because it attracts them. They spend money in hotels, transportation and tourism while there and that's what boost economy.
